This place will change your life. I used to sling Falafel in two separate establishments and people don't realize: there's a lot that can go wrong. Others have mentioned the small size of the falafel balls, but that's kinda the secret sauce here. The smallness makes it so you can have an extra crunchy outside, with a just done enough inside, that is still moist without feeling underdone. Any larger and you'd have a weird mix of crunchy on the outside tough on the outer half and not done at all in the center. If they were smaller, they'd be too tough through and through. I also feel compelled to mention the depth of flavor achieved by the babaganoush. This is magical. Now, I make my own baba at home, so I know how difficult it can be to get the balance right. This place has nailed it. The hummus is divine and bursting with flavor. The tahini is gorgeous. The flavors of the meats (I tried both the chicken and had an à la carte side of the lamb roll) -- they have managed to make them completely complex--you get the feeling that they slow cooked it all for hours...locking in juicy smokiness that will make you say mmmmm and fill yourself ridiculously full because you can't stop eating it. Nor would you want to. On a personal note, as an Ashkenzai Jew, who has been very unfortunately landlocked in the worst place for our people: Southern Idaho for 2.5 years, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. Speaking of which, the open air patio in the back with plenty of flowering plants, overlooking the water, is such a fun yet tranquil setting. The guys are so kind as well, and made me feel like family. Just walking in and hearing the music, I felt uplifted. And then talking with them...just felt like chatting with old friends. Order at the counter Small dining space inside, but there is an awesome sitting place place out back with the view of a small boat landing. If you sit in back, they will call your name and you can pick it up from the window. When you order your meal, you can have it as a plate or as a wrap ($1 off). The falafel was well done and had a good flavor. The balls were a little on the small side but the dish overall is filling. Same with the chicken. Note the meal does not come with Pita unless you get a wrap, but you will need to purchase a it as a side if you want it with your meal. Good customer service. read more

Had the BEST first visit to any restaurant I have had since moving here a few years ago. My friend and I both wanted to try Falafelove and made a lunch date for the sole purpose of getting our pita eatin' on. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and the music and his singing while he prepared food and explained the menu to us was the extra cozy touch we needed before heading out to their back patio to wait for our food. The water and the patio was so nice and really great for a good catch-up conversation with friends. The hummus was outstanding and the best at any Mediterranean place anywhere I have tried, tbh. It was fresh and the pita was SO fluffy and delicious. 10/10 no notes. Falafel was light and tasty and not too dry but not too moist and the sides were unbelievably fresh and flavorful. I ordered the falafel and chicken plate. You order one dish off the mains and four sides and it was hard to choose so my friend and I each got 4 different sides and you literally cannot go wrong with any according to both of us- but the squash special with brussel sprouts he had made for that day was SO good. I ate all of it. I ate about half of all the food and was satisfied for leftovers later. I was also able to grab a baklava to go so girl dinner is DONE for tonight. I actually can't wait to go back here for lunch again just so I can try the pita burrito. The staff was so friendly, food was ready fast and freshly prepared, meal was light and didn't leave me feeling weighed down, and the ambience, employee friendliness and environment just beg for a good meal out with friends.Worth the short drive and hop off King Salmon and then some. This charming little beach shack with an incredibly friendly staff serves a falafel wrap with a variety of added hummus, tahini and yummy veggies that are unbelievably fresh and flavorful. We devoured our falafel wrap and chicken plate. The 8 sides that came with our order were all delicious and fresh. Falafel was being made by hand when we arrived. The Malabi dessert was our first try and wish we got two! We dined out in the patio by the water. The only thing is, we ordered medley of pickles and menu listed variety of middle eastern pickles and olives. We were served with 2 dill pickles that weren't that authentic (and olives). We got the chicken wrap with double cabbage, carrots, and hummus as well as a baharat kebab plate with medi pico, babaganoush, peppers, and green zchug.
