Amazing spot! The falafel plate is a steal--8 falafel balls, turmeric rice, and 4 sides (hummus, harissa carrots, cabbage salad, etc.) for just $15. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was next-level: I left my water bottle after hours, called, and someone actually texted me right away and set it aside. You don't get that kind of care anywhere else. Food: The falafel balls were undercooked on the inside, maybe they could be cooked more slowly. The sides: hummus, cauliflower, beets, etc, and rice were good. Service: Could be friendlier. We ate here around the time they first opened and they were a lot more welcoming. Ambiance: Loud reggae/"pop" type of music doesn't fit with the Mediterranean/Jewish theme. It also made it hard to communicate with the staff. Klezmer/Israeli/Morrocan music at a reasonable volume would work better. The outside where we ate had some random junk, such as an old toilet.
