Man, I wanted to love this place. The customer service was super weird, the lady was rude over the phone when asking what's popular (uhmmm everything?) like that is a helpful response. Their coffee was alright, nothing crazy. Prices were high for the quality. We ordered the burger two nights while in town, and they were completely put together differently the second time and it was not good. Sad since they're so expensive. Also arrived at 9am (when they open) and nobody was there. We waited 10 minutes before leaving and going someplace else which was so unprofessional. I was really excited to check out this place but sad that when I got there (right at opening time) they were out of almost everything on the menu? I had to re-order a few times and even once after I already paid had to get a refund because they ended up being out of something else, too. I will say the food I did walk away with was tasty and a nice lunch to eat amongst the redwood trees (we did takeout). I was visiting family in Eureka, and I always like to try new restaurants. I checked out the menu online, and decided to come in for breakfast. It's a nice simple space. You order at the counter, and then they bring your food to you. Your coffee, your water, your condiments, etc. are all self serve. I decided to go with the "cornbread creation." The meal comes, and it was overall very good. The eggs were perfectly over easy, giving me that "yolk action" that drips down into the food. I thought the cornbread by itself was just a tiny bit dry, but when had with the rest of the ingredients, everything played very well together. The only other thing, was that the Dish was pretty spicy. Almost up to the edge of what I care for in spicy. The only thing I could think of was that "cashew Crema". Either that, or if they put something else that was spicy into the food. I would try this dish again, and put the cream on the side, but I would ask what's causing the spiciness. This place has really gone down hill. I ordered a wildflower salad through DoorDash and the didn't put my biscuit in my box or in any container in general they left it on top of my box exposed so when I got my salad out of the bag it dropped on the floor. When I opened my salad it was nothing but a huge amount of salad mix, barely any carrots or chickpeas and no avocado. The dressing cup was also small and didn't even cover half the salad- I tried calling them 20 mins to closing after I got it and they wouldn't answer the phone so I called a 3rd time and left a message.. it is now the next day and I haven't heard anything and it's 2pm. Every single time, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food always seems delicious. The last time we went I was impressed with the burger but not so much the salad. The atmosphere is calming due to the small size of the restaurant. I highly appreciate the light fixtures it adds to the ambience of the restaurant. What a truly appreciate is that they brought back dinners on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 6:30 PM prior they were only serving during lunch. Now they are offering sit down dinner, but usually during lunch, they offered pay-as-you-go, where you order food and sit at your own table. The nice thing about pay-as-you-go is that you're able to grab any of your to go boxes, utensils, water, and sauces on the cart otherwise during dinner, you can get that I'll hand it to you by a waiter. During dinner they do have an extensive menu wilhich includes a wide variety of mimosas such as coconut mango :-9 and kambucha blue blossom mimosa. Next time I plan to order different dishes for a varied review. read more

Had a couple of good meals here. Really liked that the menu choices were unusual and mostly relatively healthy. My favorite of the three entrees I tried was the nut burger. Admittedly a bit hard to eat (messy), but in a way that was part of the enjoyment, too! It's quite soft and moist, and while obviously nothing like a meat burger, still very satisfying and delicious. I added avocado and grilled mushrooms, along with some of the available condiments (especially the house hot sauce - delish!). I also really liked the Wicked Thai Peanut Stir-Fry (with brown rice instead of Soba noodles). I'm a sucker for good peanut sauce, and the blend of the sauce, veggies, and brown rice was so appealing. The third entree I tried was the Falafel Wrap. The wrap was big, thick, and filled with veggie goodness, and quite tasty. The taste of the Falafel pretty much was swallowed up by all the other ingredients, so I can't even say I tasted it. Stopped in for lunch recently, walk up counter service. Theres a small counter to sit and a handful of tables and chairs. Been in the location for years now, quiet and unassuming from the outside. The young man running the register was friendly and professional. Order, pay and grab yourself a seat. Silverware, napkins and condiments are on the table center room opposite wall from the counter. Your food will be brought out to you, it was maybe ten minutes? I ordered the Fiesta Bowl with avocado and a cold ginger brew in the bottle. This is a great lunch, a filling and full flavored meal that hit the mark on all levels for me. Being vegetarian leaning the bowl was a great combination of crunchy, tangy, spicy, sweet, salty, savory in one meal with a nice balance of protein and carbs. I hope this message reaches the owner. I love your food and have been a customer for almost 11 years. This morning I had the worst experience trying to place an order over the phone. I have an event all day on Wednesday, with out of town coworkers and CPH campus students and faculty, and I wanted to have Wildflower to offer them for lunch. I asked to place the order over the phone and pay this afternoon in person or place the order and pay today in person. The lady on the phone said that it wasn't possible to place a lunch order for 11 meals before Wednesday because you couldn't guarantee ingredients available for then... she threw "catering" and when i asked about it she said "yeah that's what I'm saying" while going over the ingredient uncertainty problem. She asked me "can't you just call on Wednesday to place the order" i can't because my event starts at 8 am. When I suggested if we could set an alarm to pretend i place my order on Wednesday she laughed at me and she said she had a line of customers and she could call me back if I wanted to "chat" about it. I am very disappointed for the treatment and because we won't have wildflower sandwiches on Wednesday:( read more

Wonderful place to stop on your way up to Oregon. Friendly place with lots of wonderful vegan, gluten-free or vegetarian options .. wow! And the price is right. I live in Southern California, where the restaurant prices are through the roof. It was nice to be in a small town where you can get affordable home cooked, gluten-free meals. I really didn't want to write this review, but it needs to happen. I have lived in the area 30+ years and have been supporting The Wild Flower Cafe the entire time. The last several years the place has declined in service and quality, but the prices keep rising. Yesterday we went as a family and had a bad experience. The staff were in the kitchen yapping super loud with cuss words in most sentences for our 9 year old to listen to while we were eating. The dishwasher looked like something out of night of the living dead and was back there sneezing, and when I went to wash my hands in the bathroom he looked sick. After our food arrived the male staff in the back started a conversation about video games and other things and were raising their voices over one another and swearing. Totally ruined it for us. I will also say that they are not keeping the place very clean. Our table was so sticky my shirt sleeve was sticking to it. It just feels dirty in there. In my opinion the food is good, but the rest isn't so we will not be going there anymore. Hopefully they see this review and make some changes. read more
