Great local sandwich shop. Fresh ingredients, and the staff were helpful and efficient.

Best thing when entering a sandwich shop: it smells yummy! I was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the sandwiches. Both the pastrami (with added Swiss mustard mayo) and Reubenesque (on rye) hit the spot! Friendly counter service.

Such delicious sandwiches and great prices. Partner and I both got a sandwich for 23$. The service is always fast. It is really hot inside but the beach is only a 10 minute drive.

service was poor today, the employ which i am referring to was a new worker which makes me hesitant to leave this review but i ordered a custom sandwich and it took about approximately 15 minutes for me to get through the whole process. to be honest the sandwich it's self was a 5 star but i payed over 15$ and i expect a higher quality of service for that.

This was the most incredible sandwich shop I've ever been to my entire life. The sandwich was delectable. Shoutout the two kind women (blonde and black hair) for an exceptional sandwich service experience. The ambience of the restaurant reminded me of walking into the 80s. However, my white friend Ryan started charging his laptop and sending emails in the background. still it was an exceptional experience.

Busy place with phone orders and walk-in customers. At one point in line, four ladies were feverishly creating sandwiches! These are more square sandwiches as opposed to a SUB sandwich, but they also do have rolls. Bread looks ordered fresh and keep in mind they do run out out of certain breads. I like that they already cut the sandwich in half with a paper wrap and then wrap that in another wrap, keeping it neat and tidy. The toppings of shredded carrots, thousand island and horseradish are welcomed.

You can see the clock says 4:50pm, but the sign says 5pm! What a joke!

They don't have set hours. Showed up at 4:45pm, and it's closed. Yelp says they close at 6pm, and google says 5pm! Obviously they have the small town mentality, and close whenever they want! Don't waste your time here!

We are visiting McKinleyville and found this gem. Central Sandwich was just what I was looking for. We pulled up and there was person out front with a mask taking orders. I ordered the Stonehenge and sub-out the pepper jack cheese for the smoked Gouda. I waited in my car and before I knew it, my sandwich was brought to my window. It was delicious !! The perfect amount of insides to bread. The service was great and the sandwich was fabulous - no complaints

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so l asked about the beans - they actually brought the bag over and walked me through it. I got an Americano and it was excellent. My wife ordered the Honey Town Latte and loved it because it wasn't overly sweet. Then the food came - I had the ham and cheese croissant and it blew me away. Tangy honey mustard, a bit of pickled onion, melted cheese, and a poached egg on a fresh, toasted croissant. So much flavor. First visit, we had the cafe miel and cheesy Toastie. I never thought I would enjoy honey in my coffee and I'm not even a coffee drinker but this would make me convert. It was perfectly balanced. The Toastie was a simple but tasty snack. I was almost tempted to order another one. I had to go back the next day to have breakfast and try their Cup of Sunshine. Another unique yummy drink if you like chamomile tea with frothy milk/cinnamon on top. I also ordered: Carrot cake muffin - moist and had blueberries on top. Eggy bagel - open faced bagel. Forgot to take a picture before I dove right in. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked, yolk perfectly runny. Puppaccino - my dog gave it a 25/10 (they have a pup menu under Classics! It's small so don't miss it!). Place is kept really nice and clean. Portable speaker placed inside a potted plant - super cute and funny. Love their music choice, chill vibes and I think it keeps the plant happy because it's green and a decent size! Service was super friendly. They even remembered us from our first visit and welcomed us. Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back if I am ever in the area again.

FME is more than a market or a place to get a bite or a beer. It is a community center for the people that live in and around Fieldbrook. When we got there, we had a hard time finding a place to park. It seems like there was a party going on--we could hear lots of people having fun--behind the market in a huge tent. We later found out that after people get food from the eatery, they can take their food back to the tent and catch up with their friends. The eatery has a bar that you can sit at or take your food back to the large tent that I described earlier. You can watch the cooks prepare your food. I ordered a Ruben and asked for it to be an open face sandwich. What they did, to my surprise, was that they took each piece of bread and put corn beef, sauerkraut, and cheese on each piece of bread. It was really enough food for my hubby and myself--and yummy!!! He ordered a delicious cup of Tuscany soup and a cheeseburger - both very delicious. He had a red beer, and I had a Cherry cider. I was happy to see that they also have kombucha on tap!!! The market is a country market where you can buy basic things like kindling, toilet paper or primary groceries. A local man told me that they used to have the tallest redwoods in the world at Fieldbrook - over 400 feet tall. The walls of the market have some of the old saws that were used to cut the trees down in 1896. They were also games on the shelves for you to play with. The place was very eclectic. There were some leather goods for sale, as well as Amber beads. I wish we had had more time to really look at everything that was there.
