Always delicious and very cheap. The salad bar is amazing featuring produce from the garden.

We are back. Im having thr Philly again because it was so good last time. My partners having…read morechilaquilas with roasted pork shoulder....fingers crossed. The fries were, again, stellar. You can't go wrong with hand cut fries in my world! The Philly was good but a bit dry and not as cheesy as I remembered. I got a said of au jus but that was quite salty. My partners chilaquilas were good but needed more sause. All in all a solid 4 stars

We were told…read moreit would be around a fifteen minute wait (which it was) but then when we eventually got seated we were not greeted for another 15-20 minutes. The place is nice but Arcata is freezing and their restaurant is not much different in temperature. We ordered our food and drinks and they came fairly quick. I got the big blue smash and the pancakes were just ok--they were not very sweet (maybe that's just me) even with syrup. My dad got the pumpkin pancakes some of which I tried. They did not taste like pumpkin AT ALL and were severely under done. They were not good. The best thing there was my chicken apple sausage which was nice and juicy. My mom also did not enjoy their eggs. We probably will not be back. The food is subpar and the wait is not worth it. Our server was kind enough. I saw a lot of reviews of employees being rude but I think it's just because they're not overly friendly.

Great meal choices for everyone that was in our group. Located near the University, gets a good mix of young and older clientele. We sat in the back garden where there are a number of picnic style wooden tables, most with umbrellas for shade. The garden is decorated with lovely plants and flowers and makes the space that much more pleasant. Dogs are welcome here. Our drinks came put first and the food did not take too long to follow. I ordered a breakfast burrito which easily shared with another person. The particularly liked that the burrito was not soggy and maintained its structure while I ate it. Everything that came out to the table was very well put together and nicely presented. The dishes and cups used were also uniquely picked. I ordered a chai latte and it was perfect, not too spicy. I'd definitely go back here again.

Came here with friends before the weekend crafters faire opened, and I'm so glad we did!…read more It's not every day that I see a Croque Madame on a menu, so you know I just had to have that. Such a simple yet complex ham and cheese sandwich, and Cafe Brio prepares theirs open-faced, allowing one to enjoy the flavors of the multiple cheeses without everything getting lost between two slices of bread. I know I definitely enjoyed it! The only thing I would do differently next time is order an extra poached egg bc one simply wasn't enough for me. I love me some runny yolk, and I wanted more of it with every bite. My friends ordered the Brio Benedict and Eggs Brian, and I'm assuming they enjoyed their meals as much as I enjoyed mine bc they might as well have licked their plates clean. And in absolute silence, too! You know the food is good when the conversation comes to a halt and all you hear are occasional "yums" between bites. I look forward to returning the next time I make the five-hour drive to visit my friends. And I definitely need to work my way through their pastry selection bc everything in that case looked absolutely divine. Next time, I'm saving room for pastries. Or maybe I'll just order them to go bc who am I kidding?!

I've come here twice now while visiting my brother. Last time me and my family came up I had a…read morefruit scone and a side of eggs with a rose latte (seasonal). The latte was amazing! Scone was pretty dry and ok and eggs were tasty. It did take an extremely long time to get our food though. Yesterday we came back as my dad enjoyed what he got last time. This time I got their seasonal pumpkin muffin that was AMAZING but just a big portion so I could not finish it all. Although, our food took almost 40 minutes to come out. Just like last time. It was pretty frustrating as we were all hungry. My dad got their polenta and tofu this time and said it lacked seasonings and flavor. He does enjoy their lattes. At the end of our visit, a family that had been waiting probably 10 minutes got their food. Turns out, their daughter works there. Fair, but a bit annoying that you have to have someone on the inside to get your food in a timely manner.
