Visiting from out of town for my wedding and we are staying with friends in Eureka. Driving in: watch for signs, you can miss it! Once you make the right turn in it opens up into a big parking and you will see more signs (love it) Inside: very large sitting area inside. Kind of a mini art gallery as well. They have many different artists up on the walls. It was nice to take a walk around and check out local artists while I waited. Menu: Nice selection of bagels and sandwiches, but they also have a "build your own" option. They also have a selection of donuts, juice and coffee/espresso drinks. Ordered: The San Franciscan This was sooo good! They recommeneddd the Garlic Salt bagel and I liked the added taste from the salt that complimented the whole sandwich. I added bacon to mine (custom) and it was such a delicious breakfast. I had ordered 3 of these, but mine was a bit special. Plain bagel w cream cheese I love a good bagel in the morning and this place was shockingly good, better than most I have been to in my travels. Definitely a place to try! Post wedding: I really want to try the bagel dogs! Unfortunately I learned the hard way that they are not open mon-wed because I wanted to go back after the wedding and it was closed.

Easily the best bagels and donuts in all of Humboldt!! My boyfriend and I have made it a habit to try and come here twice a month (which sometimes turns into twice a week). Each visit we are blown away with how consistently wonderful the food and service is. We love Frankie's!!

Really big location inside. The music and decorations were nice. They had a display of all their pastries and such. I tried a sesame bagel that's was awesome and a crème brûlée donut which was unfortunately pretty bland. Still would try again but get something different

Best Bagels in Humboldt bar none. Best Dougnuts, Best spreads, all around great stop. Clean facilities, and a lively, upbeat, and inclusive atmosphere. total fan of the San Franciscan on a garlic salt bagel... the specialty cream cheeses.. try pickle cream cheese on a salt bagel toasted.. yum! well done and thank you!

Cannoli, pistachio donut. Delicious, very sweet.

This place is a Hidden gem. We accidentally ran into it while we were at the fairgrounds. And to our delight, we tried the jalapeño popper, bagel, dog and the cannoli pistachio chocolate donut. What a treat! The restaurant was pretty chill and low key! And the service was placed your order at the counter, and the orders were filled promptly!

chocolate chai and the crème brûlée doughnuts

Bagels toasted to perfection, worth the wait. New flavors every week ( pizza is my favorite). And delicious doughnuts like crème brûlée and chocolate chai. A true breakfast masterpiece, everyone should try Frankie's at least once.

My husband and I were on a road trip and staying in Eureka for the night and decided to eat here…read morefor dinner, which also happened to fall on Father's Day. The place was pretty busy at 8pm and we sat outside since we had our pup with us. I ordered 3 oysters as an app. I had just read that Humboldt Bay provided a large percentage of the oysters consumed in CA and NV so figured I should order some since we're so close to the source! I was surprised when I slurped it down and it was warm but they were delicious and the sauce on top was very flavorful. (That was my fault for not reading the description well enough; I'm just accustomed to eating oysters chilled) For entree's, I went with the Polenta Veghie lasagna and my husband ordered the Italian Mac n cheese. Both dishes were very good and very filling. I loved the crust of the polenta and the eggplant and cheese filling was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the coziness and warmth of the interior. Great spot for dinner, I'm glad I chose this restaurant!

I was visiting Eureka and decided to check this place out. So glad I was able to try this…read morerestaurant and the delicious food they serve. My wife and I ordered the Italian Mac and cheese, beef bolognese, seafood soup (almost like a cioppino) of the day , and mushroom cobbler. All dishes were amazing and so flavorful. It was hard to pick a favorite but the beef bolognese and soup stood out to me. Our servers were so delightful and incredibly friendly. The ambience is great too; lively and homey. If I am back in town this is the first place I am coming back to. I wish I had this exact restaurant in my area!

Driving through Northern CA and did not expect such a filling and fun meal…read more This spot is definitely a Chinese, Korean, Japanese fusiony spot that I did not expect to find here. We ordered the Chinese Style Lamb Stew, Cheese Corn, Kung Pao Vegetables, and it came with a side of banchan. Every single dish here was absolutely delicious and piping hot! We ended up ordering a second plate of banchan because it was so good. The daikon radish had the most satisfying crunch and the others- cabbage and bean sprouts were very well pickled too! Cheese corn was sweet and honestly a good pairing with the very soury/ pickled soup. The kung pao vegetables would have definitely fooled me if I wasn't told it was mushroom. The batter holds on the oyster mushrooms just like chicken does. Well seasoned. Service was very impressive - there was a single waitress serving lots of tables. She had amazing recommendations and really seemed like she knew what she was doing. Very kind and attentive the entire time. Would love to return.

Súper disappointed. We have come here several times and usually really enjoy our food-- I don't…read moreknow if today was an off day or we got too experimental but we were shocked tonight. The pan fried chicken dumplings were from Costco, the spicy beef ramen left much to be desired and had an extremely dry egg. And then my friends chow mein came out half way through our meal (they forgot), had no veggies and was sweet?? They kind of attempted to fix it, so we were willing to let things go. That was one thing, then as we were waiting for them to pick up our card to pay, our server, Mira, loudly complained to her coworker about us sending the food back and how we were "pissed" (we weren't, until she started almost yelling about the situation to her coworker). Extremely unprofessional. Makes us second wanting to return in the future.
