First, the vibe is great, and the service is excellent and friendly. I had a latte which was good and fulfilled the need. I also ordered the breakfast wrap which had eggs, black beans, cheese and more. It was delicious! Soft tortillas, nicely cooked eggs, and the black beans were tender...mmm! There was also a habanero sauce (I chose that one) that was very tasty and not hot at all (for me). My friends shared a cherry scone which was very good; very moist, and tasty. I came through with a group of 10. We preordered and the cafe was very responsive. They didn't mind at all when we had last minute changes. The food was hot and ready right when we arrived. We really enjoyed our lunch at Osprey Cafe, all COVID rules are being followed, there is no dine in option but there is a wonderful spot to sit in the front and watch the world go by , there is curb side pick up and food to go. We were greeted by a very nice gal who gave us all the time we needed to look over the menu that is on the wall behind the counter. There are many options from a grilled flour wrap or maybe a sandwich with sprouted sourdough or gluten free options , also house made focaccia bread. There was a ham and Swiss option that looked good but there was also a tofu and avocado option. I ordered the Cal Salmon waffle it had a great flavor . The herb cream cheese and pickled onions and greens really added to the complex flavors that this waffle had going on. Don't discount the waffle if you have not tried it, the flavor was great. My wife ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich on sprouted sourdough and she said it was good but a little slim on the ham, we both tried a Orange Squeeze sparkling water and liked it. All I can say is thank God for osprey cafe!! In a town where the only other coffee option is like being in a hospital break room being pushed Costco resale products, osprey not only has good coffee but also people who can make good coffee! I feel it's one of the best little coffee shop restaurants in northern California all nestled up in little old willow creek. The food is good, the ladies are cute, the vibe is warm and chill.. it will go down as one of my favorite little hole in the wall joints of all time. Really wanted to like this spot but it was just meh, all three of us walked away just not feeling satisfied. I ordered a Seize the Dilla which came cleverly wrapped with some of their hottest sauce which was pretty mild. It came out pretty bland and the only thing that made it okay was the sauce was pretty good. Others ordered the grilled cheese which came out on Focaccia where you could only taste the bread and a Chipotle Dilla with peanut sauce but they were out of peanut sauce. Also got a strawberry shake which did not impress. Staff was friendly and service was pretty prompt. I would say they need to rework the menu a bit, add some spices and pair things a bit better. Just passing through town and found this wonderful little establishment. The two girls working were so sweet! I got an iced chai and the "Willow Creek" waffle. Came out to about $15, which is reasonable to me. High quality ingredients, and love! The fruits for that specific waffle are seasonal. Mine had pears, blueberries, strawberries, banana, and walnuts. Absolutely delicious! They also have some other goodies inside like savory breakfast pastries. Should I mention that the whipped cream is homemade? *drools*. I recommend you try them out! read more
