I got the chicken thigh plate and rockfish plate to go. Sides were medi pico, spicy carrots, cauliflower, beets, peppers and some of the homemade pita bread. WOW this food was so good I practically inhaled my plate. Everything was spiced perfectly and love the tumeric rice! Will be making this a regular on my takeout rotation. Well, me plus 5 went there today because my daughter wanted to try it out. They did not disappoint. WOW. The choices covered all our tastes, the prices made them affordable, and the food was to come back for. My falafel wrap with hummus and medi mix (sorry I forgot the name) was a perfect wrap. The flavors complemented each other and their falafels are fresh and tasty. Besides that we had the fish platter, falafel platter, and 2 chicken platters. Their Baba Ganoush, spiced carrots, hummus, pickled beets, and rice were all eaten up. Everyone loved the food and their portions were the right size. Almost forgot the Turkish coffee. :) They get 5 stars from us. We will be back. read more

Wow. Felt like I was on vacation here - it was a beautiful day, sat outside alongside a pier that I didn't expect to see. Watched wildlife and quiet boats come to dock. So serene. Meanwhile the food was excellent (light, healthy, filling). Today my brother suggested we try out Falafelove because he had read an article and the dishes described were something we would enjoy. My daughter had the chicken pita, my brother and I had the falafel plate and my husband had the Moroccan rock fish. All were excellent. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious. The falafel was the best I have had and I consider myself a falafel connoisseur, and even make it from scratch at home. Unfortunately we don't live here and won't be able to become regulars, but it will be our regular spot when we visit Eureka. read more

The owner/chef and the other chef are great at making some delicious food that is unique to Humboldt County. The little girl taking orders did a great job too. I was driving in King Salmon last week and I passed this place called Falafelove (that's how they spell it) I'd just had lunch but decided to check it out and look at the menu. I've eaten a lot of falafels in my life, my first was at The Falafel Drive In in San Jose in 1969. I told the owner (a really nice guy who obviously cares about his customers) it was the still best falafel I had eaten. He replied "challenge excepted" and fried me up a couple of falafel balls to taste. Well, he really rose to the challenge! The falafels were excellent, great flavor and texture. I told him that I would be coming back there to eat soon. I made it back today. I got two of the falafel plates with four sides. Don't be like me and get there towards the end of the day. They were out of a couple of the sides we wanted, but it didn't really matter as all the ones we got were great, and we will get around to all of them eventually. Falafelove, good people making very good food. You can't go wrong with that. read more

So many wonderful flavors I've not yet had before. We got a chicken plate and a kebab special plate. The chicken was absolutely delicious. The sauce drizzled over it is divine. Pairs perfectly with the rice. The kebab was delectable as well. The pink sauce on the kebab was intimidating at first but after trying it I hope this is a rotating special so I can get it again. I came in knowing I had not much of an idea what to expect sides wise so we tried almost every side. The fact you can pick 4 sides with your plate gives the opportunity to mix it up and step out of your comfort zone. All of the sides were full of flavor and so fresh. We had to try the falafel since it's in the name only makes sense to give it a shot. I'm usually not a fan of falafel but that has changed. They were so perfect I will be getting them on every visit from now on. Now the dessert was another high note. Baklava cheesecake need I say more. It was a special for the weekend but I hope this is a rotating special because it was game changing. I will be coming back as often as I can. read more
