Vodka Cream Sauce Tagliatelle with chicken & New York Strip with mashed potatoes
Annie N.

We were well taken care of at Campground. We were staying in the area for our visit to the redwoods national park and decided on this place for dinner one of the nights. We bravely walked in on a Saturday around 7pm without a reservation and although they were all booked up for tables, we were lucky enough to grab two seats at the bar. There were two ladies working at the bar and they were very friendly, informative, and cheery. I was envious of their energy levels! For dinner, we ordered: - Bruschetta Panzanella Salad - our server gave us a heads up this is deconstructed bruschetta. It doesn't actually come on bread toasts so I'm glad she set that expectation - Vodka Cream Sauce Tagliatelle with Chicken - this was delicious and the chicken was grilled nicely with good flavor - New York Strip with mashed potatoes - this was also very good and the mashed potatoes were very smooth We ordered cocktails (the campfire & up a creek) both were great and the bartenders checked up on us often. We had a great experience and would recommend coming here. Best to have a reservation especially on the weekends but if you're a couple and willing to sit at the bar, it's worth a shot if you don't have a reservation. Cheers!

Absolutely incredible! Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!! The service, the food, the ambiance. Everything!

Stopped in while traveling through the area. We sat at the bar and Lizzy and Eli took great care of us. They were very kind and energetic, made some great drinks, and offered recommendations on places to see while we're in town.

Went to Campground with my colleagues on a work trip. It was a weeknight, and we were seated right away. I loved the ambiance and decor, very elevated rustic. The service was good...our waiter was very helpful, it did take a while for our food to come out but we were having a good time chatting, so we did not mind. I had the filet minion and it was fantastic! So tender, it practically melted in your mouth. The flavor was delightful. I had the fried green beans for the side, as well as a wedge salad they were both alright, however, the steak was definitely the star of the show. If you're in Eureka and looking for a nice dinner out, give Campground a try!

Its excellent food however it is pricey. Service is great mostly. Have been a few times I always leave fully satiated. The ambience is nice as well. Cooked very well very good! It's a great place and they do have a nice way of serving your meals.

I was expecting an awesome juicy burger. I ordered it medium. I also asked for it to be juicy. It's hard to see in the lighting, but I thought it was well done. Overcooked. I was disappointed with the Patty. I did like the nice bun. Loved the fries. I'd rather have a burger from Toni's.

Radicchio salad, so tasty flavorful and yummy

Food was delicious and very good size portions. The skirt steak medium rare was So tender, juicy and flavor was so amazing! It's been a long time since I have tasted meat so tender. Thank you! The butternut squash wow, simple but flavor was amazing And the salad did not disappoint, it was a must

Always great steaks, best brunch in town, only whiskey sour worth it's salt in the entire county. Great drinks, and wonderful mixology. underrated and well worth the money. we love brunch here.. period. sit at the bar if it's super busy. the bartenders are G's and will defend take care of you. order a bite, get a drink, and brunch away.. seems better than average, but this is the norm in SF. a strong brunch game is key. And Campground has one! Best weekend brunch in town. Chiliqueles, Campground breakfast add steak!!! Seasonal omlettes, waffles, yum.. speciality drinks yum.. classics yum. evening dinner steaks chops salads and sides. I like a ribeye or new Yyork medium rare, with a flight of dipping sauces...Campfire drink.. smokey goodness... go!!! ohh and when they have a dry aged tomahawk we'll when in Rome. I've done it.. it's delish!!+

S'more dessert. Nice idea but Disappointing. Super duper dry

Probably the best you gone get round these parts. Really good service cute ambiance. All in the camping theme. Large space, full service at the bar. Avoid coming at the end of the night on weekends, they do run out of popular items. I wasn't in the mood for meat so I had to settle for a salad and side dish. Overall food was decent, but missed the mark. Presentation was nice.

The Duck/Filet & the worlds most incredible green beans!

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating. Stopped in here randomly while visiting my daughter at Cal Poly Hunboldt because it looked like it had a cool vibe and ended up having one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life! Get the Duck, the filet and THE GREEN BEANS! Not sure what they're doing to those green beans, but I could eat three plates full a day! This place rocks. Can't wait to eat here again!

I'm a food snob. This place exceeded all my expectations for a smaller town. 10/10 culinary and hospitality experience.

Is there a corkage fee, if so how much?

If I remember correctly they do, it wasn't that much $10-$20 bucks. For the environment reasonable to cheap by comparison. Definitely was not over the top. They do have a… Read more

They have really great waitstaff too, they make the experience so much more pleasant. My favorite dishes here so far are the fish and chips, the shepherds pie and their ribeye steak! The chocolate mousse is also amazing and my husband favors the banana pudding. This place has been a big hit with family too when they visit.

Perhaps they were busier than two ladies could handle. Ordered food with our non-alcoholic beverage to hopefully save time. Potato skins WITHOUT onions and food for the kids were requested to come first, entrees after. We waited an hour for food and nearly left, then potato skins WITH nasty green onions arrived and so did everything else. Probably a good thing everything came so my son and husband could start scarfing. My daughter passed the point of being reasonable for anything but fries, so I had to carry her around while the stuff was packed up. Just as well, my Thai salad was a horrible disappointment with chicken as dry as jerky, slimy spring lettuce, limited and bland peanut sauce. I ate 3 bites and lost my appetite. I tried eating the onion laden potato skins, but they were so flavorless that salt couldn't even perk them up. I should have had fish& chips I guess, it's the only thing I remembered they did well before they moved twice. Oh and my son and I went to the bathroom to wash our hands before dinner. The rage music coming from the kitchen was so loud that we couldn't hear each other at the sink. The sink was nearly overflowing and paper towels were haphazardly sitting on the edge of the counter instead of the dispenser. Pretty sure I dried our hands on dirty towels. I didn't bother to really complain, the staff seemed oblivious to any needs or cared to inquire when I declined a box (while stating the salad was horrible). Plus I wasn't interested in waiting for a remake, whatsoever. I couldn't wait to get out of there for my own sanity; and my kids did remarkable considering the very loud environment and long wait. We won't be back, and we remembered why we never made it a point to dine there.
