    Meatballs

This place was fun. I was staying in downtown Minneapolis so I have no comments on parking, but i walked in and sat right at the bar. The bartender (forgot her name) was super cute and bubbly- very hospitable and gave good suggestions on the menu. I started with ginger spritzer mocktail and the scallops. They were butter knife tender and perfectly cooked. The crispy prosciutto on top added both salt and pepper to the seafood. The dressed arugula salad in the middle paired well with the scallops. Complimentary bread and whipped butter- the bread was fresh, soft, and warm. Then I grabbed the meatballs (3) and added more cheese and fresh ground pepper when they arrived. The meatballs could have beenba little more done for me, or at least more seared on the outside, but I definitely still enjoyed them. I was too full to even look at the dessert menu but happy I listened to this recommendation from the hotel!

The food was really amazing and the service was okay (could've been more attentive) but overall a good experience. Honestly, the only reason I'm giving a 4 star. The ambiance is very elegant and a cool place for a nice dinner date. My girlfriend had the steak (juicy) and whatever else it came with lol sorry I don't remember.. I had a margherita flatbread, which was extremely delicious. And we had fries on the side. We also had mocktails.

Service was great from the moment we walked in, warm and welcoming. The seating at our table was comfortable, with a circular booth and a large comfortable chair for our party of 5. I ordered the seafood linguini and it was was packed with seafood - shrimp, fish, mussels and scallops! The scallops were my favorite part but the fish was also tender and not overcooked. Only the mussels seemed overcooked and were tiny. The pasta was al dente and portion size was hearty. The complimentary bread was very good, as was the crème brûlée that was filled with vanilla beans. This is a great restaurant for groups or a date with attentive service that was friendly and really knows the menu.

It's good every time we go! The food is so consistent, the service is attentive and knowledgeable. It's the little things that make it great- bringing sharing plates without being asked, replacing dirty silverware between different dishes, and putting your food into a box for you (so you don't make a mess on the table). I love their Ciao Baby salad, and you can add protein to it (I usually opt for salmon, but have also done chicken). Their salads also come in two sizes, a lunch and an entree, depending on how you are feeling. their fish is always great, so it's worth listening to their specials. Appetizers can easily be shared, and warm brad is an option for the table. The main dining room is usually busy (and cold- bring a sweater) during the lunch rush, but then quiets down. I would recommend making a reservation.

Immaculate service and decor. Food is to die for. I got the scallops to start, the lamb with GF pappardelle for my main and the budino for dessert. Everything had so much flavor. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the small arugula salad they came with added a lot of freshness while the prosciutto added some crunch. The pasta came out piping hot and the lamb was incredibly tender. I did need to add some salt but that was a negligible thing. The chocolate cake was rich and the ice cream was creamy and a nice counterbalance to the cake. Everyone else was raving about their food.

Calamari is amazing... the sauce is great. I went for lunch .. nice service. I sat by the bar area. Quite place for nice conversations and hangouts place. I like crab but I personally prefer grilled shrimp or clams with pasta. Otherwise nice lunch.

Went for the second time and had a five-star experience yet again! Kea, the manager, is so hospitable and kind! We were greeted so warmly by her, and considering the fact that we've only been once prior, that was so special!! We requested Erika as our server (when you make a reservation through OpenTable, there is a notes section and that is where we made the request), and they were so fabulous in granting that request! Erika is the best!! We ordered the pesto crusted sea bass and the spicy crab spaghetti. The sea bass was cooked to absolute perfection, and the sauce that went along with it was stellar! As for the spaghetti, I loved the crab chunks in the dish, so flavorful! But in terms of pasta, I think I prefer the rigatoni special I got my first time dining here. The ambiance is perfect for an elegant dinner!

Very elegant space. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was Benjamin, and we will be asking for him next time we visit! He made great recommendations and timed our dinner perfectly knowing we had a show to attend at 7. We started with the meatball appetizer which was perfect for 3 people, 1 per person! Very delicious! And the bread starter pairs well with the remaining sauce. . . .yum! I had the brick oven roasted chicken which was perfectly cooked, served with zoodles and roasted potatoes. My friend had the chicken parmesan and I have to say, while I only had a taste, it was definitely THE BEST chicken parmesan I've ever tasted. I think the entire table agreed. My husband had the ravioli with sausage sauce addition and it was VERY VERY good. Can't wait to come back!

Great service! I was hoping for a flavorful meal but it came out ok. They make their own pasta so maybe thinking about it while you are eating will make you like it more. The place is pretty swanky like a first date vibes

    Spicy crab spaghetti

Nice, casual place where dressing up is optional. All the pasta is made in-house and you can tell. I tried the ravioli, spicy crab spaghetti and ciao baby salad. Also got the hibiscus margarita. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Our server was also so much fun!

    Pumpkin Butter Cake

We went here for dinner. Very relaxing atmosphere. Corey, our server was top notch. He put the place in the 4 star category with his knowledge of the menu, dishes and recommendations. The tomato soup was excellent but only if you like a hearty style. It may be too chunky for some people. The ciao baby house salad is a good option. The small portion is large enough for 2 and the large could easily feed 3-4. The two specials carbonara and salmon on goat cheese mashed were very flavorful. The tortiglioni rossa was very sausage forward which I like but may be too much for some. The vodka sauce it was tossed in had great flavor. The desserts were possibly the best part of the meal. Crème brûlée, budino and pumpkin butter cake all hit the spot.

The service is top notch...fresh silverware and plates with every course, consistently filled water, servers that are around but not overbearing, and courses that come out with exquisite timing! We enjoyed an appetizer, a few bruschettas, and a few pastas on our most recent visit. Arancini were the perfect start: crispy, creamy, and a little spice from the sauce! Chicken Liver Mousse Bruschetta was the weak point in the meal as it just seemed to be lacking a component that balanced the richness of the mousse. The Crispy Pork Shoulder and Carrot Bruschetta was VERY salty, but I kinda enjoyed how it would make my mouth water, quenched by the creamy carrot puree. The Gnocchi are little pillows of heaven, and the orange sauce is such a pleasant surprise. The real star for me was the Mushroom Agnolotti: little pillows of creamy, mushroomy goodness topped with a plethora of additional mushrooms. Chef's kiss. Can't wait to come back again and again!

Being the middle of winter, we sat inside. It's not an overly large restaurant so be prepared to wait during busier meal times (like dinner on the weekends). Our waitress was very nice, answered our questions, and helped us select the perfect wine. Shortly after ordering our wine, they brought out a complimentary bread basket which was delicious! We asked for butter and more of the foccaccia because it was SO good. For our mains, we got the Greek Salad, Ravioli Di Zucca, and Spaghetti Con Polpette. WOW! I don't have a single complaint. The greek salad was flavorful with all the mixed vegetables and dressed perfectly. The Ravioli Di Zucca was buttery and delicious and the Spaghetti Con Polpette was probably the best spaghetti and meatballs we've ever had. Somehow we had room for dessert and opted for the Tiramisu. It was good, not great. I didn't love that it was cut in the shape of a pie vs. a square -- Something about that threw me off. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend going to Broaders' Pasta Bar! The spinach and bacon dip was really good, though the bacon had an almost hot dog-like flavor that was a little unexpected. The fried Brie was delicious. Super soft, rich, and packed with flavor. It is definitely a heavy dish, though, and the saltiness starts to catch up with you after a few bites. The pasta chips were a miss. They tasted stale and were so hard that they were honestly a little painful to eat. The focaccia was also underwhelming. It was literally just bread and did not bring much flavor to the table. For my main, I had the chicken Parmesan. It was perfectly fine, but very basic. Exactly what you would expect and not much more. It was a little bland and could have used more seasoning to make it stand out. Overall, Eato had some bright spots, especially the service and a couple of the appetizers, but the uneven atmosphere and mostly average food kept it at a solid three stars.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

It's a very pretty establishment that brings together the classic and the modern and feels both comfortable and classy. The food is great and perfect for the aforementioned snow: it's pure comfort. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were unique and delicious. Mostarda, candied almonds, and blue cheese, with beautifully caramelized sprouts? It hits sweet, piquant, bitter, and savory along with all the textures. It's a must-try and a definite contender for top treatment of Brussels sprouts. For our second side, we got the tomato sugo, which was a very satisfying starter. Deep, rich tomato flavor, the perfect level of salt and herbs: you can taste the love and time that went into it. (The focaccia that came with was amazing, but you could totally eat this with a spoon, too.) For my main, I had the red bucatini (yes, I like tomatoes, especially when paired with time). It was absolutely awesome--the pasta was cooked perfectly and was the perfect shape for the sauce. The sauce was great. The chili oil added an excellent kick. The garlic breadcrumbs added textural interest and flavor. Again with the perfect, savory made-with-love mouthfuls. I was truly enamored with this one. For dessert, everyone went for the budino, a rich, delicious chocolate-hazelnut pudding topped with a generous mound of silky vanilla whipped cream, crunchy sugar cookie crumbles, and a drizzle of EVOO. It was perfectly balanced and just the right amount. Tying everything together was excellent service from everyone who we encountered.
