    The OG Luce pizza
    Jenn N.

Ate here twice when in town for a couple of days. I am a pizza snob. This place delivers. The dough is obviously rested, docked & cooked at the perfect temp. The toppings arefresh & high quality. The salad was also on point. You had me at Wednesdays are whiskey days! Service was great, both at sit down & towards the later hours at the bar. The bartender on Thursday late night was awesome. He was friendly, helpful & working hard! The OG Luce pizza was really good - especially if you are a big fan of garlic. My fav was the "original" - closest to a combo IMO

What a great place. I'm jealous that Twin Cities resident have such a fantastic vegan pizza parlor with free delivery and a sizable menu. I tried a specialty pizza and made my own pepperoni and artichoke pie. The crust was perfect on both and I don't think you can go wrong with the vegan melt cheese or their home made vegan ricotta. I am looking forward to trying their pasta and salad next!

Pizza Lucé truly doesn't miss, no matter the location. After a certain time at night (unsure when), you are carded (21+) in order to enter. However, the security were all very friendly and the staff inside were very efficient. You have to pay extra for ranch which kinda sucks, but other than that, my experience here has been great every time.

I've been dying to try Pizza Luce for some time now and I finally had the opportunity to try the downtown Minneapolis location. Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience which is the reason for the 2 stars. I sat down at the bar which wasn't crazy busy for a Saturday night and ended up waiting roughly 10+ mins until someone came over to me to finally say hi. The bartender seemed to notice that I was there but took a while to approach me and decided to clean up another area, check the tvs, and put away the glasses all before even saying something like I'll be right with you. I asked for the menu and was only provided a food menu...when I was really hoping for a cocktail menu as well. I ordered the elote gfree pizza which was delish but the ambience and lack of friendliness of my server/bartender was over shadowing this first time experience hence the two stars. He just seemed to have an attitude. Couldn't even get a smile out of him. Anyways I'll probably try another Pizza Luce location before coming back to try one downtown. Too bad too.

We ordered Pizza Lucé while staying at the Residence Inn Downtown/City Center nearby. We arrived back to the hotel late from a concert at the nearby Target Center, and were definitely feeling a little hungry after a long show, so appreciated their late hours. The staff at the hotel's front desk were the ones that suggested Pizza Lucé, so we were a little trepidatious, thinking maybe they had a deal with them to send them business - but even if they did have a reciprocal arrangement, the food we received was DELICIOUS. My photos won't be super pretty because we definitely ate everything out of the containers they came in at the little table in the hotel room (which didn't hurt the quality at all, by the way). We shared an order of the Mostaccioli, and it was excellent. I'm used to Mostaccioli just being a little side item of sauce and noodles, but this was a full entree size, full of well made sauce, super tender noodles, and a TON of cheese on top. It was really tasty paired with the garlic bread that came with the meals (but I'm a garlic bread fiend, so maybe that was just me LOL) Our hangry group also split the Lasagna Abruzzi, which you can choose from a few different sauces for - we picked Alfredo, and YUM! It was the perfect match of creamy, meaty, and actually pretty light with the thinner lasagna noodles they use. It was also a huge serving. We ordered a few desserts and I got the tiramisu. It was in it's own little clam shell packaging, and was pretty standard as tiramisu goes. It's my favorite dessert, so I will take it pre-packaged, homemade, out of a freezer, whatever. Now, we only had the delivery experience, so please consider that when reading my review. The dining in the restaurant I'm sure is even better, and I will for sure be checking it out in person next time I'm in Minneapolis. If you're staying at the Residence Inn Downtown/City Center (or anywhere near there), and want a great delivery option, Pizza Lucé is definitely in the conversation!

    Garlic cheese toast

Ordered this for delivery at our hotel downtown. The garlic cheese toast was pretty basic and my least favorite dish. The pepperoni pizza was good, but the standout was the Lasagna Abruzzi finished with an Alfredo sauce. I would HIGHLY recommend trying that.

Love pizza Luce!! The best vegan pizza I've ever had. So delicious! All of their pizzas are way above the average pizza. The toppings are all fresh. The pizzas are cooked perfectly. And the salads are amazing. I always like to have a salad with my pizza so I'm very glad they have such good choices. We have only had delivery and the delivery staff are so nice and friendly. My family loves Pizza Luce and we get pizza from here whenever we get the chance

Stopped by Pizza Lucé while in Minneapolis and we really enjoyed it. Their watermelon salad was delish! And the small size was more than enough for two people to share. We also had a small pizza with meatballs, red onion and bruschetta tomatoes and let me tell you, I wish more places did that. The tomatoes were so yummy! Our server was so sweet and really helpful with recommendations. The vibe of the restaurant was super fun too. All around a great experience.

    Gluten free cheese pizza

We did pickup here and glad we did. My wife has Celiac and it was really difficult to find her safe food that was also any good. The gluten free pizza was great, considering. They also kept the box separate from everything else to protect against cross contamination. I got two cheese slices and they were decent but not great. But it was worth it for my wife to have what she needed.

have long believed that pizza is the highest form of art, but until I stepped into Pizza Lucé, I had no idea just how deep the rabbit hole went. The moment I crossed the threshold, I felt it--a shift in the air. The scent of fresh dough wrapped around me like a warm embrace from a long-lost ancestor. The lighting? Soft, ethereal. The employees? Not just workers, but artisans, alchemists, perhaps even prophets of the pizza realm. And then... my pizza arrived. I held the slice in my hands, marveling at its perfect weight, its delicate balance of sauce and cheese. I took one bite and--oh. Oh, my God. My eyes widened, my soul expanded, my past regrets melted away like mozzarella under the broiler. The sauce? A perfect marriage of tangy and sweet, as if tomatoes had been raised in an orchestra and taught to sing. The crust? Crisp, golden, baked with the wisdom of the ages. The toppings? Perfectly distributed, each one placed with the care of a sculptor chiseling a masterpiece from stone. For the first time in my life, I felt whole. I closed my eyes and saw visions--memories I'd never lived, futures I had yet to taste. Somewhere, in the distance, I swear I heard a single violin playing. When I left Pizza Lucé, the world seemed lighter. I walked with purpose, knowing I had been forever changed. Thank you, Pizza Lucé. Thank you for showing me what love tastes like.

Street parking available on hip and trendy Washington Ave! They also have a decently priced valet for diners not looking to search nearby for parking! The interior is moody and hip with dim lighting, exposed brick, and a social energy. It's always busy without feeling stuffy or crowded. The service is top notch...fresh silverware and plates with every course, consistently filled water, servers that are around but not overbearing, and courses that come out with exquisite timing! We enjoyed an appetizer, a few bruschettas, and a few pastas on our most recent visit. Arancini were the perfect start: crispy, creamy, and a little spice from the sauce! Chicken Liver Mousse Bruschetta was the weak point in the meal as it just seemed to be lacking a component that balanced the richness of the mousse. The Crispy Pork Shoulder and Carrot Bruschetta was VERY salty, but I kinda enjoyed how it would make my mouth water, quenched by the creamy carrot puree. The Gnocchi are little pillows of heaven, and the orange sauce is such a pleasant surprise. The real star for me was the Mushroom Agnolotti: little pillows of creamy, mushroomy goodness topped with a plethora of additional mushrooms. Chef's kiss. Can't wait to come back again and again!

Note, they do NOT take reservations so it's first come, first serve. Our original wait time was around 1 hour but it ended up only being 35 minutes. Parking is quite limited but due to eating later in the evening, we were able to get a parking spot in their lot. Broaders' has both patio and indoor seating. Being the middle of winter, we sat inside. It's not an overly large restaurant so be prepared to wait during busier meal times (like dinner on the weekends). Our waitress was very nice, answered our questions, and helped us select the perfect wine. Shortly after ordering our wine, they brought out a complimentary bread basket which was delicious! We asked for butter and more of the foccaccia because it was SO good. For our mains, we got the Greek Salad, Ravioli Di Zucca, and Spaghetti Con Polpette. WOW! I don't have a single complaint. The greek salad was flavorful with all the mixed vegetables and dressed perfectly. The Ravioli Di Zucca was buttery and delicious and the Spaghetti Con Polpette was probably the best spaghetti and meatballs we've ever had. Somehow we had room for dessert and opted for the Tiramisu. It was good, not great. I didn't love that it was cut in the shape of a pie vs. a square -- Something about that threw me off. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend going to Broaders' Pasta Bar! When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.
