Hot honey pizza with chicken instead of pepperoni
    Deebaa S.

Love this place for an easy pizza to go or an easy summer time patio dinner date. My go to is the hot honey pizza substituting chicken as my protein. Pair the pizza with a carafe of cold white or red wine and chill on the patio. Very reasonably priced. 2 pizzas and a carafe of wine will run you $45-50. More importantly, it's a welcoming place. I personally witnessed staff handle someone come in off the street having a mental health situation with a lot of care and dignity and not with a call to police. I've used them for food for an adult bday party. I ordered 10 pizzas for roughly $150. Ordering was simple and it was ready on time, packaged nicely with everything you needed. Everyone loved it. Best idea ever.

I tried this place years ago and was thrilled to come back now that it's in my neighborhood--and let me tell you, it still hits just as good. We ordered the Wind and the Nordeast, and just when you'd think we'd be done carb-loading, we added the cheese bread too. No regrets. Everything comes out of a wood-fired oven and the flavor is unreal. The crust is thinner but still has that satisfying, doughy chew--not crispy. For three people we ordered 2 specialty pizzas, cheese bread, and three drinks. The total came to about $55, and we even had leftovers to take home. Totally worth it. Great flavor, solid portions, and a cozy neighborhood spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

Cute little spot with a small parking lot and an outdoor area for warm weather. They have a variety of salads and appetizers, as well as a large selection of pizzas and brownies for dessert. They offer wine by the glass, the carafe and the bottle for very cheap prices. Go up to the counter to order and to get in line for a table. Friendly staff in the small kitchen! We ordered a large salad and two pizzas for two people and only made I through 3/4 of the salad and half the pizza. Amount of food for the price was really good. I really enjoyed the vinagar-y Agean salad. The buffalo mac pizza wasn't quite dialed in (it was too gloopy for me) but the Element pizza (add sausage) was good. Cozy local vibe. Would go back!

Element was incredible. Such a home cooked feel, very similar to pizzas I've had in Rome!! Such a cozy little corner area. The service was so quick and friendly, and gave such a family vibe!! Absolutely the best little corner pizza place!!

    Hummus is a must try.

Element consistently delivers outstanding food. No trendy burned crusts or quirky toppings. Just well balanced thin crust pizzas lightly topped with tasteful combinations flavors, which can be customized or selected from preset options. The style is not Neapolitan (as the dough clearly contains oil) or New York (less bite), but its own distinct balance that should please a wide range. Pizza is not their only forte. The salads are well-balanced with just the right amount of dressing. A highlight is the hummus, served with flatbread wedges which I assume is made from their pizza dough.

Last year i went a few times and must say it was underwhelming. I stopped in here last week and what I ordered simply was delicious. First of all, the service and staff always top-tier; they are very friendly and helpful always! Far as the ambiance its rather laid back no frills however they do have a nice patio so on the nicer days its good to eat outside. They have a good selection of wine; I had a really delicious red. Definitely will be coming back.

A great low key spot off of Broadway with a nice wine selection & beer. Super cute patio surrounded by large buildings. Small parking lot or street parking. This place has been around a while and I've stopped in a few times over the years. It's kind of a hidden gem, especially if you're looking for a patio that's not packed or has a wait. We ordered the daily special which was a spicy Mexican elote style za, and the Terra with its tangy salty olives. Their toppings and flavors are perfectly developed on a thinner style soft crust that's kept fairly pure. Solid pizza overall and a charming location. Order at the counter and they will bring the food out to you, or grab some takeout to go!

What a nice neighborhood pizza joint. Perfect spot to come hang out and have pizza and some wine (not sure if they sell beer). Their pizzas are wood fired and very good. There's limited seating inside, but in the summer there's outside seating.

I have been driving past this GEM for the better part of a decade and I finally stopped in! There truly isn't a bad thing I can say about Element. Starting upon entry into the small, quaint, and cozy space I was immediately greeted by nothing but smiling faces. I also noticed a very nice outdoor seating area perfect for summer evenings. We are off to a booming start. Now it's time to make a decision on what to order. This is where things get hard, I literally wanted it all. We settled on the Spicy Feta Dip to start. Super creamy and delicious and the bread was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and softer, doughy inside. For pizzas we went with one special and one main stay - both were crazy good. Loaded with a fair amount, yet well balanced amount of toppings. The crust was some of the best I have ever had. I ate an entire pizza to my self. I strongly recommend checking them out.

Stopped here with family after picking them up from the airport. Being from NJ it can be challenging to find good pizza in the Midwest but Element is on their game! Parking lot is tight but you should be able to find a spot even if you have to wait a few minutes. Prices are super reasonable and there are plenty of options to choose from. They also have salads etc if someone in your group doesn't want pizza. Indoor and outdoor seating available so you can enjoy the nice Minneapolis weather.

Awesome pies. Been going here for years and it always hits the spot. Fast and friendly service.

    BYOP- built your own pizza
    Pa V.

Probably one of my favorite places in NE Mpls! They have a selection of speciality pizzas but my partner and I like to do our own BYOP- build your own pizza! You can definitely share a pizza if you want but trust me who I say, you're definitely going to want to get your own! That way if you don't finish it all- bomb, you got a snack for later. What I love the most about this place though is the Roasted Calamata Olives with Rosemary Flat Bread. It's so simple but so good and taste so fresh. It's salty, oily and as a little tangy from the lemon. And that rosemary flat bread is definitely the star of the show! It really brings it all together nicely. Btw all their appetizers comes with that delicious rosemary flat bread! Plus all their pizzas comes with mozzarella. As for the vibe of the place, it is pretty small and but we still enjoyed the small patio seating and was able to get a parking in their small parking lot. Also- whether you plan to order for dine in or take out, all orders gets placed at the front then you seat yourself or wait in their bench area.

We stopped here for some take out pizzas after visiting Minnehaha Falls. We got a plain cheese and a margarita and they were delicious. The dough was great. We ordered ahead and got take out. We were on a bit of a road trip and the staff was great, making sure we had napkins and any utensils we might need. Also, it's very nice that they have a parking lot so pick ups are very simple.

Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

The empanadas were the best I've had outside Argentina but they were not hot temperature wise. The pizza looked amazing but I found the sauce too sweet for me. It has a lively but comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and service was impressively quick from start to finish. We started with the app bread, which was super good and a great way to kick off the meal. I decided to order two pizzas and split both in half, which let me try four different varieties. It was definitely the right move. The bacon and golden pineapple pizza was one of my favorites. It was refreshing, had a nice little kick, and further confirmed that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. The lemon ricotta with goat cheese was also tasty, but the cheese was so rich that it started to dry out my mouth after a couple of slices. The meatball and ricotta pizza was a classic done really well. The meatballs were especially flavorful and clearly high quality. My favorite of the four was the hot salami and chili pepper pizza. It was absolutely divine with just enough heat, and the salami was perfectly crisped. The only downside to the pizzas was the crust. It was very thin, which made it difficult to hold all the toppings without them sliding off. There also was not much sauce, which made some bites feel a little dry. Overall, Black Sheep delivers creative and delicious pizzas in a fun atmosphere with fast, friendly service. Despite a few issues with the breading of the pizzas, I would definitely come back to try even more of the menu.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

The menu can be a bit hard to navigate since so many menu options are unique but the server expertly guided us through. We ordered the Maitake Karaage, Duck Tataki, Mentaiko Lumache, chicken thigh yakitori, and a wagyu yakitori. Likes Vs Dislikes: LIKE the Maitake Karaage - this was the best dish of the evening. Fried mushrooms with scallion mayo, gave the texture and flavor of fried calamari but it's actually mushroom. LIKE the Mentaiko Lumache - this pasta was incredible. Perfectly al dente noodles with a unique almost cup shape that gave a nice bite of noodle and sauce together. The sauce was delicious! Dislike the yakitori - felt like there was little to no value here. You pay $7 per skewer which contains barely 3 bites of chicken. It was pretty average tasting too. Wouldn't waste the money. Like and dislike the Duck Tataki - delicious in flavor, nice and fatty, ponzu and mango added a great flavor. Disliked that for $22 you get hardly 4-5 bites of duck. Tiny tiny skinny bites mind you. Felt like the value wasn't there for this fish given how good it actually tasted. I'd look elsewhere on the menu. Overall, given what we liked, the ambience and staff, I am giving this a 5/5. If money isn't a factor then come here and go crazy, but if value matters then stray away from the yakitori and Duck Tataki, just my 2 cents.

We ordered the Porteño (meat pizza) and the Peras (vegetarian) since our son is vegetarian, and both were excellent. Even the leftovers held up wonderfully--reheated in an air fryer, they tasted fantastic. We also tried the churro donuts. On their own they were okay, but with the sauce, they were really good. Highly recommended for pizza lovers, and a great pairing with your favorite beverage--beer, wine, or a non-alcoholic choice

The margherita pizza itself was very tasty, and the cheese-covered crust definitely makes for a striking presentation. That said, the shredded cheese on the crust was a bit overwhelming and took away from actually enjoying the crust itself. Our biggest issue was honestly the customer service and overall flow of the restaurant. As first-time visitors, it was very unclear whether we were supposed to seat ourselves or order at the counter, and we didn't receive much direction when we asked. Everything is very self-serve, including grabbing your own plates and water, which is totally fine once you know the process, but better communication would really improve the experience. Overall, we enjoyed the pizza and appreciated the creative style, though vegetarian options were somewhat limited. We'd likely return and just know what to expect next time.
