It's been a couple years since I first went to Pizzeria Lola and I am glad to report nothing has changed. It is still as good as I remember. The food quality is impeccable. The staff is welcoming. The space is warm and inviting. If you are ever in MN please go!!

Visited 7/18/26. Pizzeria Lola still has that it factor. First of all shout out to our server-she was so incredibly accommodating and also very nice to my sister's dog. On this occasion we ordered the market vegetable salad, the xerxes pizza, and the Korean bbq pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious and the "sleeper" hit was the market vegetable salad. So fresh and perfect for summer, we ate every bite. Simple but immediately had us discussing how we could try and replicate it while cooking at home. The pizzas were top notch as per usual-no notes! Overall would definitely recommend and eating on this patio always makes for a great experience!

If youre looking for a good vibe and amazing food, Pizzeria Lola is the place to be!! Anytime I have out of town friends coming in, this is our staple. We've celebrated several milestones here and it's so special to me. Any pizza is going to be great but something about their Boise always keeps me. Their homemade ranch is well worth the price as well, super creamy & full of dill. The photobooth in the back is a great way to end and commemorate another night at the best pizza spot in MN!

We were able to find street parking nearby and just walked up the block to the restaurant. The wait for a table was around 45 minutes, so we decided to sit at the bar instead. It can get a little cramped, but it was actually fun being able to watch all of the food being made and sent out. I ordered the pickle pizza, and it was such a unique and delicious experience! It was my first time having Old Dutch potato chips on a pizza, and they added the perfect crunch. The flavors worked so well together, especially with the fresh dill. We also started with the Caesar salad, which was excellent, the freshly made croutons really took it to the next level. The service was wonderful from start to finish. Next time, we'll definitely make a reservation ahead of time and come back to try the gochugaru spiced dry wings and save room for ice cream!

Stopped here on Wednesday night with family while I was in town - there was a 45 min wait for an inside table, but were able to get seated immediately outside on their patio. Service was great - quick, and stopped by to fill up our drinks (and was fine with us hanging out for a bit after eating). Others shared the sausage and pep, but I shared the Boisean pizza - potatoes, cheese, caramelized onion, rosemary and bacon - BIG YUM. It was basically scalloped potatoes on a pizza and it was amazing. Then for dessert, we tried their vanilla soft served topped with olive oil and sea salt...what a fun, but delicious combo!

When Chef Ann Kim's other famous pizza spot, Young Joni, closed down, this neighborhood spot became the go-to for her creative and eccentric pizzas. Street parking available nearby! The spot itself has a local, yet elevated pizzeria vibe. The space revolves around a big, ornamental brick oven that reminds you right away why you're there! Service was great and responsive during our visit. I would recommend a reservation during traditionally popular dining times, as the place is well-visited! On this visit, we came in search of the iconic Perfect Pickle Pie of Young Joni fame, added to Lola's menu! We enjoyed every bite of this dreamy pie: pickles, ranch, and potato chips make this pizza addicting! We also had the Korean BBQ pizza, a well-known special of Lola's, which had a lovely blend of arugula, marinated pork, and BBQ spices. The perfect combo of sweet, savory, salty, and umami across those two pies! Definitely recommend checking out this spot for your next pizzeria night out or simply for a take out pizza night in!

An absolute must try for anyone visiting the Minneapolis area. As exceptional as the pizza is, the "stars" of our meals at Pizzeria Lola have been salads/veggie dishes. The roasted cauliflower and seasonal zucchini salad were amazing. The staff is great and our server, Claire, was exceptional.

Gochugaru wings, beer

Delicious pizza! We stopped by here during happy hour on a Thursday, the place was fairly empty but started to fill up for dinner as we were finishing up. We got 2 pizzas, some wings and a cocktail. The pizzas were great, no notes - even the single topping pizza on happy hour was super delicious. The wings were good, but we thought they were a bit overpriced, even on happy hour - I think we got 6 wings for $16. They had a good selection of beers, and a spritz on happy hour that was good, but a bit sweet. Overall, everything was a little on the pricier side, but delicious pizzas nonetheless!

Easy to find. Street parking can be tricky in the neighborhood just be patient. Cool vibes inside. Interior has eclectic decor and is clean. Service was good not great. Order: Lady zaza. The crust and dough is the star of the show. Crispy, light, airy and flavorful. Kimchi was legit. Gochujang drizzle added great depth of flavor. I know it's the style but don't love the floppy pizza. Still a delicious bite. My sha-roni. Delicious pepperoni and sausage pizza. Great ingredients equals great pizza. Soft serve with olive oil. Strangely delicious. Could not stop eating it! Overall: Really great. Did not disappoint on flavor. Just don't love the flop gelop.

False Pattern-Hazy Pale Ale (Modist Brewing-St. Paul)

On a Friday around 4:30, made it to Lola and wasn't sure if I was going to stay or take away. Decided to stay when I found out the Bar area requires food to be ordered and not just drinks if you want to stay. Smaller Dining area with their wood fired oven in full view-some outdoor seating also. Good selection of craft brews on draft so I ordered a False Pattern (Hazy Pale Ale)-hoppy, smooth with lighter citrus notes. For pizza, ordered the My Sha-roni (to go) and the Korean BBQ. Lighter crust with a perfect balance of toppings/sauce to crust. Cup Pepperoni and fennel sausage hit the spot. The Korean BBQ pizza, (most popular) was delicious! The Beef Short RIb isn't a typical topping with the soy-chili vinaigrette and scallions taking it over the top. I'm not a big fan of any type of fresh greens on my pizza but arugula on this one balances it all out nicely. Service was excellent from beginning to end given engaged Server team. Overall, pricey and worth it. Not hidden but a neighborhood Gem nevertheless. Food Networks/shows favorite that lives up to the hype!

My boyfriend and I tried Young Joni and had to see where it all started. In our opinion, this was even better! The vibes are great! This is a small place but we were able to grab some patio seating on a beautiful night! Inside there was a disco ball that gave off some pretty fun vibes! This would be a cool spot for a first date! Our server was straight to the point but polite and friendly. The food was delicious! We got Parma and La creme with fennel sausage (definitely add, it's sooooo good) the La creme with fennel sausage is my new favorite pizza in the twin cities! Holy yum! The wood fire pizza taste is delicious! The crust was crispy yet chewy! Looking at other tables, I just don't think you can go wrong with any option! Parking is free but street parking. Definitely a winner in our book!

TAVERN PIE

Heard good things about this place and had to check it out for lunch! Really good food with unique pizzas and also classics as well. We went with the Korean bbq and tavern pie and it was best of both worlds. Didn't get an appetizer this time but next time we would try the wings. Service was good and food came out quickly! Ran out of water a couple times though. Ambiance was fun and chill. Good layout with a disco ball! Not much direct parking but lots of space in the surrounding neighborhood with a gas station next door. Really good dessert as well. Would bring a friend next time!

Fun toppings but I felt like the pizzas were under salted. We got the BBQ and fungi. Server was nice and lots of booths to sit in.

She then made her rounds around the restaurant, the two hours I was there. I found the presentation completely inappropriate for a restaurant. It felt more like something you would see at a strip club or Vegas nightlife venue than at a restaurant, and it was especially jarring at a 5 PM event. Honestly, I would have found it inappropriate regardless of the time. I'm Latina and all for a good, sexy time. But there is a time and place for everything. Beyond that, the restaurant was extremely crowded and hot, and they were already running out of food. Given the number of people there, the food situation was poorly handled. I also had an issue with my drink charge. It was listed as $9, but I was charged over $11, while my friend was charged only $10 for hers. That inconsistency was frustrating. Unfortunately, between the uncomfortable atmosphere, extreme crowding, heat, lack of food, and billing discrepancy, this was a very disappointing experience. I've since seen other reviews mentioning long waits, and after experiencing the chaos myself, I can understand why.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.
