The food here is amazing, affordable, and so delicious. My sister and I shared a boil bag together and it was plenty for both of us. The seasoning was everything we hoped for! The staff member was attentive and informative. The place was clean and the decorations were nice too. I would definitely add more lighting and a few more decorations to really make it pop. It was a little slow for a Saturday and mostly people were picking up rather than dining in. It didn't take long for the food to come out either. Certain drinks were free refills which is always nice.

    Receipt

Food was alright but went to get takeout yesterday and got charged for something I didn't order, didn't realize until I had already got home and opened the bag. I got the Thursday special 2 pound crab and a pound of shrimp, I got charged for the Tuesday special and didn't receive anything for that purchase. I purchased 07-31-2025 Made the post 08-01-2025 Ps. I called and the one who answered said they could give me a full refund or a Tuesday special on Tuesday, they handled it really well and did great. They get my 5 stars!

    Crab legs, shrimp, corn, potato.

Great experience with great food. Easy to get to. You won't leave hungry. The hush puppies were excellent as well. I'll be back!

1/2 lbs of clams and 1/ lbs of shrimp. All for like $15

Fast service. Great value and good quality. Would come back for sure. Bang for your buck.

We order F5. Calamari Basket and combo 1lbs of crawfish and 1lbs of shrimp head on. I was very impressed how fresh they are. Definitely come back.

    One potato and one corn

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!! I do not care about inflation! THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!!! You feel it's ok to false advertise a meal for three, when in fact, is a meal for one person, $87 for a pound of food?!!! What is wrong with you!!! When my husband called the man was passive aggressive saying he could refund us $3 and give us a damn coupon no man! WHAT We want IS WHAT we paid for! or a FULL REDUND on top of this bs Food was food cold and basic! Thank you for ruining New Year's Eve dinner for us! Will be posting on Yelp with pictures! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This meal is for 3 people ?!!! How?!!! One potato and one corn..

The drive wasn't the best because of a nasty storm coming in, but once we arrived, the atmosphere inside made up for it. The place was nicely decorated and had a lot more seating than it looked like from the outside. We were greeted right away and shown to our table. As the rain slowed down, more people started coming in, and I noticed they also had quite a few Uber Eats calls because several drivers stop by for orders while we were there, so takeout seems to be pretty common there too. We started off with the soft shell crab and cream puffs. My wife wanted me to try several of the dishes she ordered, some of which I'd never had before. A lot of it wasn't really my style, but it still tasted pretty good just different from what I'm used to. The only hiccup was getting napkins; once the place got busy, I ended up having to walk up to the counter to grab some myself. Other than that small issue, we really enjoyed our visit and I plan on coming back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

I had a very poor experience at The Cajun House. I had just flown in and wanted to grab something…read morequick on the way home, and The Cajun House had been something we've considered trying for some time. We walked in to see a staff member who clearly didn't enjoy his job. He didn't greet us and made us approach him before he asked how many people would be dining. Looking into the dining room, there were several empty tables that had not been bused, and there was only one other party dining at the time. This was already a red flag, indicating that the staff didn't care about the cleanliness or appearance of the dining room. The menu is very extensive. From the outside, it isn't clear, but The Cajun House is a Chinese restaurant first and a seafood boil restaurant second. The first page of the menu is entirely dedicated to dim sum. I was surprised to see that they were serving dim sum late at night, and I questioned how fresh everything was. Flipping through the menu, about two out of ten pages were dedicated to seafood boil or Cajun dishes, which was a bit unexpected given the restaurant's name. Anyway, we decided to go for the seafood boil, and ordered a side of beef skewers to try. From former reviews and pictures, it seemed like these were the most popular items. The beef skewers came out first. One order was 13 dollars and came with five skewers. This was on the pricier side but not unfair. We split the dish. The beef had decent flavor, although nothing crazy. It wasn't fatty, but it had some seasoning on it to make up for the lack of quality. The beef was also relatively tender. It had a bit of a chew, but in a pleasant way, pretty much the texture I would look for in a noodle or fried rice dish. I was somewhat satisfied with this dish. For the seafood boil, we went for the combo. Every combo comes with two potatoes and two pieces of corn by default, each of which can be added on for two dollars each, a sauce, and a selection of two different seafood components. We went for the shrimp and "crab cluster" for an additional three dollars, adding on a dozen sausage slices and the garlic butter sauce. Right off the bat, it was easy to tell that the seafood wasn't very fresh. Both the crab and shrimp had a weird, off-putting flavor and aftertaste. It was slightly fishy and didn't sit well on my palette. We also weren't given anything to crack the crab shell with. We resorted to just using our teeth and trying our best to pull it apart with our hands, and using the skewer sticks from the beef to push out the meat. The garlic butter sauce wasn't great either. The meat wasn't picking up the sauce very well and retained very little flavor. The highlight for me was the sausage. It was surprisingly smoky and burst with flavor. It picked up some of the sauce, but the flavor I liked definitely came independent of the sauce. The potato and corn were both fine. They had decent texture, especially the corn. The potato was on the mushy side, but still served its purpose. For a lot of our meal, there were no employees in sight. It was impossible to wave anyone down. Our waiter was sitting down out of sight, and the only other worker we saw seemed to be working the back of the house. When we finished our food, it wasn't clear if we were supposed to wait for someone to bring us the check. We waited about five to seven minutes before someone came in to pick up an online order. When our waiter popped out to give the customer their order, we walked up to the front and paid out. We weren't given a check to make sure there weren't any mistakes, and just had to go with what he said. From start to finish, the service was really bad. The only time we got a refill on water was when our food got delivered. Other than that, we were never checked on. It just seemed like our waiter didn't care at all. The dining room was messy and unorganized, and the food was generally mediocre, with the seafood leaving a lot to be desired. There was plenty more on the menu to try, especially the Chinese food, but everything seemed dirty, and I didn't like how I was questioning the cleanliness of the food. This combined with the very unpleasant experience I had with the service will definitely discourage me from coming back.

I had been trying to get us here for several weeks and now the stars have finally aligned! ( I did not want to cheat my gal out of this 1st time experience by having it alone. We Had So Much FUN!) Dang! I am so glad that I waited! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been to KC before? ("No, but highly recommended by my employer!") Ryan, (mgr.) asked us to pick a table and would be by to explain how the menu is set up and works! (Great so far!) Staff , (and patrons as we looked around on our way to the table) were all smiles and truly looked like they were enjoying themselves! The dishes on the tables were well-presented and VERY appetizing to see! (Great Again!) At least 20 patrons were already tucking in and enjoying the heck out of the food and themselves! (most wearing plastic bibs and gloves.) A half minute after we were seated, a pleasant young lady came by with ice-water .(she and others checked back often enough to check on us.) We were both giddy at the prospect of choices offered. It took some minutes to decide after carefully looking over the menu. (So many wonderful choices! Too many, OMG I want ALL of it! ) We decided on menu item Combo 3 ( for this visit) . It consisted of : 2 cluster of snow crab legs 1 whole lobster 1 lb crawfish 1 lb head on shrimp 1 lb green mussels 1/2 lb sausage 5 corns, 5 potatoes for $99.99 (They cheerfully substituted 2 lobster tail for the whole lobster! :D We were DELIGHTED! ) We also ordered a sticky-rice (3.50) and an order of Thien's Fries, pronounced Tea-en, (Ryan kindly helped me here as it is not phonetic.) for 7.99. They are loaded with cheese, sauce, seasonings and bits! Delicious! Nearly a meal in itself! We had to stop eating the large portion of fries so we had some room left for the sea-food! .....and it came....on to the platter....erm...tray...erm ..barrel-top? (22 min from initial ordering), everything is hot, steaming, fresh and wonderful!) It was a Perfect Sea-food heaven! :D After taking in the beautiful sight of this Enormous tray, Carrie and I cracked and pealed and shared bites and ate our way to to complete satisfaction! (Men, show your love and bring your gal here and order #3! :D) Our tray was still quite full when we were done and we left with multiple meals that (Ryan carefully bagged up!) we can enjoy tomorrow! Thank you, Thien, Ryan and staff, for a memorable (and will often be repeated) experience! We Love King Cajun! Sincerely, JoeZ and Carrie (by the window :) )

The place was very busy and had a good energy about it. I had the Jambalaya, which had chicken, sausage, and shrimp. It was pretty good and had a nice spicy kick. A good portion as well. Girlfriend had the shrimp etouffee with grits. It was nicely blackened and on a big bed of grits. Also spicy. Friend had the original lobster roll. He was surprised it came on Texas toast and not a roll. But he really enjoyed it. The dessert was a sinlme but delicious Cookit with ice cream. I recommend for restaurant week. And if you like seafood in the form of things like the lobster roll or shrimp etouffee that you don't get other places. I thought the jambalaya was fine but unremarkable.
