I've been craving a seafood boil since being down in NOLA, and this one had great reviews. While the staff was super nice, I have to admit that the boil was lacking, when compared to the southern original. The shrimp was a little more rubbery than I like, but the crab legs were great. I think those were my favorite. Its hard to get any kind of fresh fresh seafood, and you can't get fresh crawfish to the Great Lakes area, so I have to remember that here. It definitely covered my seafood craving, but keep in mind its more of a Midwest style boil than the southern type if you pop in. read more

So delicious!!! We tried Cajun Crave last week for an office lunch and I loved it so much I went back this week. So far I've done the special twice but with different sauces. First time I tried all the sauces mixed together and the second time I did garlic butter only. There are fresh pieces of garlic in the dish. The food tastes fresh and is made to order. The September special is a pound of easy peel shrimp, potato, corn and an egg with 4 different sauces to try. It was my first time having a seafood boil and it won't be my last. I can see myself being a regular here. The only con is the hours. During the week I take a late lunch because they are open 1-9. But it's so worth the wait. They have ample indoor seating as well as a patio area to enjoy your meal. read more

First time eating here and loved the seafood boil. A couple people in our party aren't adventurous eaters, but they tasted the mild cajun sauce in my boil and loved it. Food was delicious, hot, shareable, and just the right amount. I wish I could replicate their sauce. read more

I had my husband pick up a boil to eat at home. Not going to lie I was a bit worried the quality would be a bit less being that it wasn't in restaurant, but they packed it nicely on a foil tray and it was still hot when we opened it up. All the restaurants say "1 lb of shrimp" but it felt like they gave us more shrimp than the other restaurants we have been to which was nice! Would love to definitely try them again in the future and check out the dine in experience. read more

For the amount that you're paying, the quality is NOT there. Honestly the seafood boil with the mild Cajun was great, but the wings and the butterfly shrimp were cold, and low quality unfortunately. The service was okay as they seemed to have little staff, but don't make people have to ask for their drinks after you pay. Fries were good, seafood combo #1 was good, but I spent $80 on basically 1 edible meal. Not worthy of a trip back sadly. read more

The food was lackluster. I ordered crawfish, black mussels, and head on shrimp with medium sauce and the sauce lacked flavor. More salt and more oomph would have helped so much. The okra was soft. Definitely not freshly fried and not southern style either. I will not be back. I'd rather drive further out for better food. read more

We were initially very excited to find a cajun/crab boil restaurant near our new home in Oakdale. We tried the mild cajun clam boil, the lemon pepper crawfish, and the crab cakes. We are very sad to say it was extremely unappetizing. Both our seafood dishes were lukewarm with three of the clams unopened, as well as the amount of food was scant for what we paid. To add to our disappointment, the crab cakes were imitation with no description on the menu; one would assume a seafood restaurant used real crab. The yellow liquid on the crawfish plate is just olive oil, the lemon pepper was just the salt thay sprinkled on top. It looks like we'll have to make a trip to brooklyn park for crawfish boil still. read more

If I could give a 0, both my husband and I would. We got the combo #1 crab boil and crab cakes. I asked the employee if the crab cakes were real crab, he said yes. They were not. They are imitation crab. The crab boil was thrown away by my family. The shrimp tasted like chlorine. The crab was overcooked and tasted off. The actual boil sauce itself has ZERO flavor. Somehow it's red but tastes like nothing. My husband tried the potato and corn and couldn't even eat them. I went to the bathroom after we ordered and had I seen it prior, we would have left. It looked like it had never been cleaned...and I'm not kidding. Pee caked on in the corners. Bugs, spiderwebs...so gross. Overall will never go back and really hoping that we don't get food poisoning. read more

Amazing friendly service, and the food was to die for. I got the spicy cajun snow crab boil and it was incredible. The mango juice was super fresh and delicious as well. It's a small basic facility with 6 - 8 tables. But, the food was delicious. Among our group, we had shrimp po'boys, Philly cheesesteak, mussels and oysters, and a Cajun shrimp rice bowl. The sauce on the po'boys and the rice bowl was excellent. Everyone definitely enjoyed their meal. read more

As a Louisiana native, I like to give "Cajun" restaurants a try. I ordered the 1/2 lb easy peel shrimp with Cajun spicy sauce and the fried catfish filet basket. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't great. It took 30 min for my food to come out, and even though the first thing I said was that it was "for here," they packed it to go. The catfish filets were actually pretty good, well seasoned and battered nicely, just make sure to add a squeeze of lemon juice before eating. However, the basket included "Cajun" fries with hardly any seasoning, and the "toast" that came with it was just a slice of bread with a sprinkle of butter - it wasn't toasted at all. The shrimp were okay. They weren't that spicy, but, being in MN, I wasn't expecting it to be Louisiana spicy. There could definitely be more cayenne added to the spices to give it more of the Cajun flavor. Overall, the food wasn't that bad, but I'm not sure if it's worth the long wait. One downside to boil to order is that it's not enough time for the seafood to seep in and soak up all of the spices and that it takes entirely too long. I wouldn't mind ordering the catfish again, though. read more

Took my wife and daughter to eat tonight. Spent almost $200, I ordered a kids meal that comes with an apple juice and I ordered an extra corn for my daughter because she was 3 yo and dont do spice. When the food came out, no extra corn was given, when I asked, they said it was added to my #3 $140 ordered. The gentleman told me he can take one corn back from my dish and give me a new one. I told him, " I guess?" when he came back, it was the same corn, they just rinsed it down, you can still see the red chili oil color between the cob. I just let it go because a few people starting to come in and didn't want to make a scene. Moreover, my daughter didn't get her juice, so I went up to asked, gentleman told me they don't have apple juice and she can have something from the pop machine. I refused so he offered lemonade. I would not spend a dime from this place again. I've eaten here 3 times. The first time was good because they just opened, second time was OK so I decided to give them a chance. read more
