Usually my go to place for crawfish in the suburbs. Getting crawfish is usually a treat for me since it is a bit more expensive but always so good! The crawfish this time was huge! Flavor was really spicy. Sausage had a good chew to it. Corn was cooked nicely. Potatoes were cooked perfectly too.Tons of garlic in the sauce. Sauce is usually good here but this time it was a bit more bland but still good. Somehow eating crawfish with rice always makes it taste better. We did 5 lbs to go and it was packed up nicely. Stayed hot and wrapped in a bag. There are a few tables there if you want to dine in but easy to pick up to go. read more

We ordered the combo #1 to go yesterday and the food was so so good! I would normally give this a 5 but since we ordered for 6:30 about an hour ahead of time and got there at 6:30, my food wasn't ready till at least 7:15. I understood it was such a busy time, but the one thing that really disappointed me is that someone came in after me and ordered the food at the counter, and left before me with their food, which really left a bad taste in my mouth. We got the combo #2, and it was good (4/5). The crab was great and the best out of everything. I got the same thing about a year ago or so, and it was a lot better than, a definite 5/5. I think I might have gotten a different seasoning then, but they also gave us more crawfish then. It was still good overall but just did not wow me like last time. First time having Cajun boil in MN. I used to frequent these types of establishments in California weekly. The service was good. The sizing for the seafood is superb. The crayfish are large, the head on shrimp add a great size and the sauce was delicious. I had the house mixed sauce which is a combo of all the options. It was a great eating experience. The dining area is small with people coming in and out getting take out. Next time I come by I'm going to try some of the fried food. 3-4 people who came in while I was there all ordered fried food to go. So next time! read more

I got the combo with potato corn shrimp and sausage, and mussels with their house mix and it was sooo good. So much garlic and great flavor, everything was also well cooked and flavors went so well together. The fries were also crispy and hot! Definitely recommend checking Cajun deli out. read more

My favorite local restaurant because the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and I always have leftovers. I used to order just the garlic shrimp and rice but now gravitate to the shrimp boil. Medium spice. The flavor is enjoyably savory. You never know what you're going to encounter when you walk in the door. All the tables could be full or none of the tables. No matter what time of day. Informal setting with three tables, order at the counter. I was craving fried catfish filet. Most everything there is ala carts except for seafood boils which serve one to two and up. Expect to pay $44 for the 1-2 portion and upwards from there. A large tasty boil with about 10 large shrimp, two eggs, large beef sausage, corn on the cob, two large crab legs and steamed red potatoes. Very large and filling. My daughter said it was delicious! My catfish $9.95 two filet and nothing else good but slightly overcooked. Tasty sauce, hot sauce and ketchup available. Large serving of fries ala carte were hot and good. Beverages by the can or bottle in a cooler you select. Most people seemed to be doing take out. No coleslaw or salads. The best part of the visit was the charming host/manager very nice and did all serving, to go orders, cleared tables etc. . Price at $68 but at the cost of seafood these days I get it . A simple/standard place to satisfy that cajun boil craving. I felt like the crab legs and shrimp were a good quality seafood unlike some other places that have tiny lil pieces. This seafood was good size and didn't taste too fishy. The seasoning was boiled into the seafoods nicely as well. The house seasoning with the mild spice level does have a little kick to it but it's tolerable for me who doesn't have a great tolerance to spicy things. read more

The Shrimp was Shrimp let's face it you can eat shrimp Raw. The Sausage was just ok but NOT Cajun at all. the Snow crab went in the trash let's be real I can't eat it with a plastic fork. No one can mess up boiling an egg,corn,or a potato so I will not talk about them. The only thing that I can say really stood out was the explosive Diarrhea after eating the meal. I can't say it was bad because if nothing else shortly after eating the meal I was ready for a Colonoscopy. The taste was good but not at all Cajun in any way. however I don't think the toilet enjoyed the taste. Also it is overpriced for what they calm it is. Cajun Deli is the only seafood boil place I go to. The quality is always excellent. The sauce is always rich and flavorful. I like to layer the sauce and garlic on top of white rice, it hits different! I always get the "house mix" seasoning and the medium spice level. I like getting a mix of: Peeled Shrimp Whole Shrimp Green Half Shell Mussles Craw Fish Snow Crab Legs I do prefer the whole shrimp over the peeled shrimp. The whole shrimp holds so much more flavor then the peeled shrimp. They do sell the claw crackers, if you need them for home use. They also offer bibs and gloves. read more

This is definitely a restaurant in our rotation. The staff and owners have always been very welcoming and accommodating. They even welcomed us late one evening very close to closing time and kept us beyond the end of their day. Food is always good, seasonings are amazing and it's always a fun experience. read more

If your looking for good Cajun Crab boil this is your place, it's not really a restaurant but there are a few tables to sit and hang and and get down and dirty with your seafood. If it's to go or stay and eat they are both good!! I would recommend you cater out the meals though! The garlic house sauce is super good! I have ordered my meals and head home with it most times but this place is a yes !! read more

Found Cajun Deli on Yelp and the food was amazing. I took my to go for lunch and got the peeled shrimp and black mussels. The sauce was great and like Stephan S. said "Spice level was spot on." Everything was fresh and crisp, the corn on the cob was not soggy but firm, plump and flavorful. I will be eating here again in the near future. read more

I have NEVER had such a great crab boil in my life, until tonight. Everything is customizable and made to order. We ordered for pick up and ate it at home, we live about 15 minutes away, and it was still hot. The flavor was incredible. I am the kind of person that needs to add extra hot sauce or seasonings to everything and I would not change a thing. For what you are getting portion wise and quality, the price is very reasonable and definitely worth the money. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant since good seafood boils are hard to find in Minnesota. When we arrived, a gentleman greeted us and asked if we were dining in. After confirming, he told us to seat ourselves, and someone would come to take our order. However, after waiting for a while with no service, I looked over my shoulder and saw the same gentleman, who then finally came to take our order. I ordered the seafood boil with two lobster tails and a pound of shrimp. Since I didn't want potatoes, they substituted them with five pieces of corn. My wife ordered the number one combo, which included crab legs and shrimp. We both opted for the spicy seasoning since we weren't sure how hot it would be. When our food arrived, the aroma was great, and everything looked appetizing. The shrimp and lobster were cooked well, but the lobster tails weren't cut properly, making them difficult to open, and even punctured my gloves. The corn lacked flavor, which was disappointing. Additionally, they only provided a cracker for the crab legs, and when I asked for scissors, he was going to offer me a box cutter. The gentleman who served us was friendly, and the food wasn't bad, but given the 45-minute drive, I wouldn't return. The restaurant had only four tables, making it more of an express-style spot rather than a full dining experience.
