This was my first time at a Korean BBQ place and I loved it. I saw a ad online with their wings so thats why I went. They had a late night happy hour and had a lot of items i wanted to try with good pricing. Walked in and was seated quickly on a Saturday night. Very clean restaurant, had a modern look to it. Staff was very friendly and energetic for late night. They helped out a lot on what to get. Got a few orders of wings and a few things to cook at the table. My date had been to a place similar to this so I let her do her thing on the grill. Wings were pretty good and came out quick. It was a lot of food but it was good and at a good price and we took home leftovers. Great experience for my first time and I'll for sure go back!

I got the Chicken Dolsot Bibimbap (4/5), which was pretty good! The rice along the bottom was nice and crunchy. However, there was not too much chicken in it. With your meal, you also get a lot of different mini sides for free, such as kimchi. The service was quick and good (4/5); our waiter was very friendly and helpful! The interior of the restaurant is very clean and nice (4/5).

I really enjoy Korean BBQ and had high hopes but this kind of fell flat. I ordered 1/2 servings of Dak Bulgogi and LA Galbi, a chicken dish. The Bulgogi was good but under sauced. The beef was tender and the flavor good, I would have liked more sauce. The Galbi was ok. The chicken thighs were nicely cooked but lacking in flavor -- any flavor. A little Hoisin helped so I could finish it. Both dishes came with a big scoop of sticky rice and some odd little box of four things, I have no idea what they were. The scoop looked like mashed potatoes and kind of tasted like it. It was cold and had some flecks in it. One little thing was spicy onions, another marinated squash, and I haven't a clue what the thing in the bottom right corner was. It reminded me of an Indian restaurant in London where little dishes were brought to our table and when I asked what they were he replied, "Pickle." So maybe it's like that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In any event I don't think I'll be back.

Plenty of parking at this establishment. Kind of an awkward table layout for a large party, so this is best in groups of 6 or less I would recommend. Area was clean including the tabletop and grill. All items I ordered on the menu met my satisfaction. Be sure to ask for a fork if you don't utilize chopsticks. Our server was attentive and quick to act. As always, minus one star due to credit card processing fee, but I would recommend this spot. The food was reasonably priced except the shrimp (3 for $16? c'mon man, IDC if they are jumbo)

An assortment of AYCE bonchon! Yummy fish cakes are pictured here.

We arrived for a late night dinner and were greeted promptly and warmly. The restaurant was immaculately clean with two big screens showing various cooking shows as we walked in. For a late night dinner the restaurant had other patrons which was a good sign given that it's such a new enterprise. Our server was incredibly attentive and warmly welcoming (ask for Chanel) and kept our drinks topped and our bonchon flowing without us even having to ask. We ordered the combo number two and found it was plenty of food for three people- in fact, we had plenty of leftovers! The food arrived promptly, and the grill was at a perfect temperature to cook evenly and regularly for quite a long time before it got the typical coating from use. I was pleasantly surprised that it was able to cook our meat so evenly for so long without needing to be changed. I imagine they are various qualities of girls and Gogi had good ones! The combo comes with the choice of soup for the table and we got the egg soup which is as beautiful egg puff soufflé that was delicious. Chanel allowed us to change out the pork option in the combo which was really nice and so we got beef bulgogi instead of the pork bulgogi. We also got a side of dry rub chicken wings, which were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. A little bit more seasoning would've been nice but overall an 8 out of 10. Heads up that their grand opening is next week and there are a ton of prizes and discounts that are worth taking advantage of. Hit up their social media for more info. I highly recommend this welcoming and delicious experience.

Made the trek down to Savage to visit a friend and have lunch at Gogi as we were both craving Korean BBQ. We got there a little after 11, their first customers. Sat down and had a look at the menu to order. We ended up choosing the Combo 2 which comes with Galbi, pork bulgogi and brisket and added half an order of pork belly. With the combo order you have the choice of soup or steamed egg. We went with the egg, which was a great choice. Eggs were fluffy and seasoned nicely. As for side dishes, the kimchi was good and the fish cakes, not a fan of the lettuce kimchi as it still and a gritty taste to it. Which they had some more side dish options. Here comes the food! They asked if we needed help grilling, which is nice to ask for those who have not done Korean BBQ before. We said thanks but we got this! They did start it up for us initially with the beef fat to grease the grill and then we were off to eating. Everything was so good, Bulgogi and galbi were marinated well. The sauces provided paired well. I liked dipping into the sesame first and then finish with the wasabi salt. Don't be afraid to ask for more side dishes and I also needed a bit of rice so ordered that, know that's an extra charge. We ended the email with the Bingsu. A bit different version than what I was used to, more ice cream than shaved ice. The shaved ice wasn't as smooth/creamy since the condensed milk was put on top vs. in a way it would mix with the ice. Staff was quick and super nice. I'd come back again if I was in the area.

I recently had my first Korean BBQ experience and I loved every part of it! When we first arrive the staff greeted us promptly and brought our large group to our tables. The decor was very pretty and had a great photo backdrop at the front door. My friends were more familiar with all the food so they did the ordering and I just enjoyed! It was so cool to be able to cook your meat right at the table and we got a lot of laughs out of it cause we were not great with keeping an eye on it so the staff was really good at keeping an eye on us! Cause we def needed it! All the food was so good and I will def come back! This is a great space for date night or even with the family!

Being that it is located in Savage is nice. Savage needs more Korean bbq places or restaurant. It is not the best, but it is okay for being far out in the suburb. The portion of the combo was alright. I think it is pretty pricy for the portion. The sides were alright as well. The kimchi is water down a lot, but the other sides were good. I was kind of disappointed in the octopus and pork belly dish because it didn't have a lot of octopus or pork belly. It is too expensive for a portion that small. The egg dish was good, it was salted well not too salty like other places. The tuna kimbap was good as always, just always a lot of rice. The dessert was a hit for my friends. It was so good they had to make it at home. The services were good, the server actually cook our food to start with. The ambiance was good, it had a lot of family that came to the restaurant.

I will preface this review by saying that I am Korean and also grew up in Los Angeles / Orange County which has some of the best korean food in the US. Is this place comparable to CA kbbq places? Obviously not but for being in Minneapolis I was pleasantly surprised. Nice restaurant, staff are very attentive, and plenty of parking. I had mixed feelings with the Banchan. Some were spot on in flavor and some tasted a bit watered down. The Deonjang jjigae was also a little watered down and could have used a bit more doenjang. The steamed egg was perfect and portion size was nearly double most other places. We ordered the samgyupsal, chadolbaegi, and jumulleok which all were very good. Portions were large. Dipping sauces were on point. Loved that they gave lettuce and ssamjang. Right now this has quickly moved up to my favorite kbbq spot in the twin cities. Sucks because it is a bit of a drive for me but if you are close by, definitely check them out. This is probably the closest thing to CA level KBBQ spot in MSP area.

A few friends and I were looking for a good spot to hit before planning our trip to Japan this fall. GoGi although a Korean BBQ joint, seemed like a great option as it's fairly new and we love KBBQ joints. The server was amazing, she helped us cook our meat, was quick with drinks and recommendations as well. We started with the calamari tempura and the GoGi dry rub wings. These were both delicious, the calamari was crispy and flaky on the outside and juicy on the inside. The dry rub wings were spicy and cooked to perfection. The platter of meat was delectable, with meats ranging from beef short rib to marinated pork and pork belly. We were drowning in the umami tsunami all night. Our waitress actually helped us cook and cut the meat unlike other KBBQ spots. Overall I was incredibly satisfied and would go back in a heartbeat.

I am glad one opened nearby because they have good prices and their combo deals definitely save money. Everything we ate was delicious. Our waiter was incredibly kind and enjoyable. The next time we go, I would come on a weekday because Ambiance was busy on a Friday night, but we did not have to wait long. Excellent experience all around. I will return time and time again.

Korean wings - sauce was ok.

Went back to try more items. More pictures for your eyes to judge. Solid but nothing to wow me. The steamed eggs were definitely more eggy suggesting there's more eggs than broth.

Usually for places like Korean bbq, the ones in the metro will always be superior to the Suburban areas. And the suburbs wouldn't have anything like this so I was excited to try! We went mid week, Wednesday evening for dinner. It was dead. But it was very spacious and clean. I'm sure it wasn't busy because it was a Wednesday and I've seen them packed on weekends. After we got seated... 2 other couples and a group came in. This place is not an all you can eat KBBQ. It's ala carte but there are combos on the menu. I liked everything they offered. The downside of just going in with two people is that obviously we can't eat much. And we can't order a variety. But what we ordered, it was the perfect portion and delicious! I can't wait to go back with family and or a bigger group next time to try more things! Half of the banchan (Korean side dishes) that are complimentary were yummy and fresh. The rest seem old and we did see a few wilted sides! I was scared that would make me sick. None the less, we'll be back with friends and family to have kbbq night.

The spot shares a very small parking lot with the attached brewery, so it's a bit of a roulette wheel on whether or not you'll find something close. The interior was nicer than expected: very clean, organized, and inviting! I didn't interact too much with the staff, but they were friendly and it was a smooth pick-up. I had the Delhi's Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. The naan was tasty and not too buttery, which I appreciated. The Butter Chicken was surprisingly nuanced, with warm spices and a great combo of flavors. I'm used to Butter Chicken being some of the simplest Indian cuisine, so shout-out to India Palace for not being afraid to add some character to it. I did, however, find cartilage and a few decently sized bones in my chicken, which wasn't expected and detracted from the meal.
