A standby for fast and tasty Asian fusion. Menu is a few ingredients and sauces mixed with different marinated proteins. I like the flavors but most dishes taste pretty similar because of the sauces. But can't beat it for a very fast and fresh meal with bold flavors!
Love, love this place! It's a mash up of all kinds of flavors from around the globe. I loved that on one wall near the kitchen there were jars and jars and bottles and bottles of the rooster Sriracha sauce, it looked like part of the decor. The menu had so many tasty sounding options that I couldn't decide what to get. Falafel Banh Mi? MFC (Moroccan Fried Chicken) Biscuit? Or the Red Curry Chicken Bangkok Burrito? I ended up ordering the WSK Salad and the O.G. Grilled Chicken Yum Yum Rice Bowl. Dang...the soft cooked egg on top was perfection and special sauce in the rice bowl was yum yum! They need to bottle that stuff and sell it like Chick-fil-A sauce. The WSK salad tasted Mediterranean inspired with the crispy chickpeas, that was also really good. They also have a beer and cocktail menu (the Rose Lychee Sangria sounds fun!) if you want to enjoy an adult drink with your meal. If the Wadi bros are reading this, please open a shop in L.A. because I will be there all the time!
WSK is a good place if you're looking for a quick bite to eat. Also, if you want a sweet treat too, since Milkjam is connected to it! They have a lot of good options to choose from fusion burritos to bowls. The service was quick. It's a "order first, find your table" type of place. There was a lot of seating from booths to high tops. The food was good and offered GF/DF options. Not the best yum yum bowl I've had, but it was good. There's a lot a parking lot and street parking. If you're looking for an average Asian place, this will definitely satisfy your taste buds!
Ugh I love this place. Lots of unique and flavorful dishes, you can't really go wrong here. I always get the tofu yum yum bowl, and I'm not even vegetarian. It just tastes that good! They do have a little parking lot by the side if street parking worries you. They are also connected right next to milk jam creamery, which is arguably the best ice cream place in the Twin Cities. Lots to enjoy here!
WSK/Milkjam never misses. You can grab a seat when you walk in and order from your table. The beef bulgogi bowl is delish and they don't skimp on the yum yum sauce. If you haven't tried kimchi before - try it here! The hummus is smooth and pita served warm. I like adding on a side of cucumber salad as well for some extra crunch. Pop over to milkjam after for a scoop of ice cream or get a pint to go to finish off your amazing meal.
Food here is always great! Seat yourself and order off a QR code makes everything fast. This time I tried their special, Arab Birria and it was amazing.
World street kitchen is one of my favorite places in Minneapolis! I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. The Brussel sprouts are the best in the world, and I mean that wholeheartedly. They are perfection. The Korean bbq ( I think that's what it's called) bowl with kimchi is another one of my favorites! I went recently and tried their sesame chicken sandwich and it was huge! It was very tasty. I wouldn't say it was as good reheated though. Try and finish it all in the moment(: Their service is good although they aren't really a "sit down" place because you order on your phone. It is upsetting that more spots are turning to this instead of human interaction. This doesn't take away from how the food is though. Staff also came around and refilled waters and gave out to go boxes, so that helps. I love the ice cream spot next door, too! Amazing dinner + dessert combo every single time. It is very expensive for not having a server though which is annoying. They add a service fee automatically on top of spendy food.
3.5 Darn, we had a bit of a bummer experience at WSK. I hadn't been for years, but after a show at the Walker, our large group decided to come here for dinner. LOVE: - Lots of seating! We were one of the few eating in (seemed like lots of delivery and takeout) so we got our pick of the spots - Most of our crew had eaten there before and had faves on the menu - it was great for the GF and veg gals in our group to have options - The food came out shockingly fast! You order via QR code and so there's no table service, but it works well for this fast casual spot. LEAVE: - Most of our food came out cold, which was a surprise considering it was brought out so quickly after we ordered. - I got the bulgogi beef rice bowl, and it was a pretty small portion with just beef, kimchi, sauce, and rice - it felt a bit on the light side given the price. My friend that got the salad felt the same. - Prices were pretty steep for a no service fast casual spot: $16 burrito, $18-20 rice bowl or hummus bowl, $15 for two tacos.
Huge selection of food from around the world. My favorite is the Korean BBQ beef burrito, enough to split. They have some yummy looking rice bowels and curry's as well. They do offer cocktails and beer. The old fashioned is actually a little boozy. And don't forget to head over to Milk Jam after you eat for a delicious scoop of ice cream.
What I like about this place is that there's no wait staff, you order either at the counter on an iPad or at your seat with a QR Code. The menu is ripe with a variety of meals with an Asian/Middle Eastern flare to them. I thought by burrito was tasty, but could use more spice. I would add kimchi to it next time. The bowl we enjoyed was packed with hummus, and came with some delicious pita bread. Plenty of seating, as it seems their take out game is stronger than dine in during lunch time. It's definitely worth giving it a try!
Looking for a quick bite for a late lunch. None of us had been here before, but it sounded interesting. You order via a kiosk at the counter or use a QR code at the table. I find it easier to order in person at a counter, but we did it online. Our table got a hummus appetizer which was tasty. My husband and I both ordered lemongrass meatball entrees. I had the lettuce wrap and he had the bowl. Mine came with 5-6 tender meatballs, a quarter of an iceberg lettuce head, cucumber salad, and a spicy sauce. I thought it was all delicious except the sauce was more spicy than I liked. Actually it was all a bit more zippy than I'd normally order, but it was good for something different. The workers were all friendly. The atmosphere was quite loud however. We felt like we opened the door to go in and were hit with a wall of loud voices. It didn't have great acoustics, but there were a couple of big parties in there that contributed to the sound level. The bathrooms are in a long hall that is shared with the ice cream store next door. Be aware that you'll need to get a keypad code to get in.
Haven't been in a while but had to make the trip next door for the Milkjam holiday flavors. Atmosphere is still the same; "hip" and dimly lit. The staff is always really friendly and quick to help out. You order via QR code on the table and the staff will bring your food and bus. I always get the bulgogi mushroom lettuce wraps because it's hard to find a vegetarian bulgogi in the cities. It's nicely spicy but not "hot". Their kimchi and picked veggies are awesome. The yumyum sauce is pretty bland. The brussels sprouts were super salty and pretty one-note. Don't think I'd get them again. If you don't like fish sauce, which I do, you're not going to like it. It was salty to the point where my mouth hurt. So much fish sauce that they were soggy. Their burritos, wraps, and specials are great so I'll be back but definitely not getting the sprouts again.

They brought us out some water glasses and a pitcher. You get a QR code for your table and you order on your phone and pay and they bring out the food and drink to you. Kind of reminded me of the restaurants at the airport where you have iPads to order from and they bring out the food. We ordered the Korean "BBQ" Beef Croquettes, Korean "BBQ" Beef Short Ribs Bangkok Burrito, Korean "BBQ" Beef Short Ribs Yum Yum Rice Bowl and Lemongrass Meatballs Lettuce Wraps. We also ordered a couple of drinks, The Passion Fruit Margarita was our favorite. The meatball lettuce wraps were really good. The meatballs were flavored and cooked really well. The croquettes were also very tasty, especially with the dipping sauce that came with it. The burrito could have been better. It really lacked flavor and the meat was not really distributed evenly so you would get bites of just tortilla and rice. The yum yum rice bowl was pretty tasty. Had a good consistency too when you mixed everything together with the crunchy kimchi and the soft beef and rice. The crunch from the peanuts. Bottom line was that it was a pleasant enough experience but nothing I would be running back to. This was also the first place I have been to in the cities that adds a service charge of 18% where they are really not providing table side service as such.
Typically I am anti "throw it in a burrito" but man oh man the thiqq panda chicken and the Korean bbq burritos really brought us to a really delicious moment in time. The people were friendly in the limited interaction of an "order at the kiosk" type place and the vibe was low key for a Saturday afternoon. I'd come back if I lived here! read more

I don't get to world Street kitchen often enough because that's not close to where I live. But every time I eat there, I always remind myself of how much I love the food. It really is just an excellent fast casual Asian fusion We went there the day after a general, strike cabin in Minneapolis and decided to support it because they had shut down. Other many restaurants in Minneapolis are hurting right now because of everything, they were very welcoming. But to be honest, we were there for the food. And I loved it. The brussels sprouts are truly amazing. I think they are my favorite brussels sprouts in the Twin Cities. So many places shove bacon into them. Not these. Rather they use a Thai fish sauce and caramelize them. They're crispy and flavorful. They're amazing. The tofu bowl was also quite tasty. A lot of food for a reasonable price. Just so much to love about this place. read more

Food: I ordered a rice burrito, with the yum yum sauce. It was okay. A lot smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price. I also ordered a cookie, and wish I hadn't. Service: When I came for lunch, this was basically a self-service sort of place. We sat down, scanned the QR code, paid, and food was brought to our table. We had to get our own utensils, water, and napkins. The wait staff all seemed friendly, although we had very little interaction with them. Ambiance: Pretty big space. Sort of gives diner type vibes. WSK was a conveniently located lunch spot my son insisted we check out. With a nice selection of healthy international foods, it's was hard to narrow my selection down. The brussel sprouts were amazing, as were the fries! Everything was hot and fresh. Parking can be a real challenge for the entire area. We walked just a couple of blocks to avoid the parking hassle. There is street parking and a couple of nearby public garages that would work. There are several little shops in the area for a range of shopping needs so WSK could be a great option for a shopping break read more

This place had been on my wife's list for awhile We stopped in for a light lunch and my wife ordered the Korean "BBQ" Beef Short ribs burrito and the Brussels sprouts for us to share as an appetitizer while I ordered the MFC Chicken. We always pick a winner as to whose meal was better...it was the burrito. It was so rich with flavor I wanted to go back for another bite immediately after taking a bite. The chicken was really good one of the crispiest and the preserved lemon while it was a little different at first was really refreshing and delightful. The only thing I would change about the order is being able to get a half order of the Brussel sprouts as the order was family style-huge! 10 out a 10 read more
Very underwhelming. The food was def just okay. I ordered the chicken curry burrito and the size was pretty small for the price. (Photo doesn't do it justice but it was about the size of my hand lol sorry!) The taste wasn't what I was expecting. Curry was just okay. Not spicy at all. Just mid. My partner ordered the Mexican steak burger and it was fine. It was very sloppy and difficult to eat half way but the flavor was decent. I believed it was priced around 15-16 which is a bit steep. The service was okay... you have to order online via phone. The place is pretty big tho and there's a lot of seating! Just not my cup of tea. The food is just too simple. :( read more
I had there rice bowl to go and got to try the Hanoi Tumeric Dill Fish Yum Yum Rice Bowl and it was delicious. They use fresh ingredients and herbs and a great flavor of sauces. The rice bowls have different Asian flavors that you can choose from and they have done a great job with Asian fusion food. read more

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy, which we appreciated. Parking was easy on the side of the building. We ordered. Kufta burger and chicken tikka masala sandwiches with a side of fries. All was delicious. Our kiddo got chicken and rice which they liked except they didn't have ranch so that was a bummer for her. You order via the tablet in the front or by scanning the QR code and they bring the food to your table which I liked. They don't accept cash which might be a disappointment for some. It's clean and bright. The bathroom is down a stinky hall of the building but the bathroom itself is clean and doesn't smell bad which I appreciated. Staff was very nice and helpful. read more

Although my dish was way too spicy for me, I can't fault the restaurant. You order through a QR code and the food comes out fairly quickly. It's a fun atmosphere and it's directly connected to ice cream for dessert! Tons of fun options on the menu so there are a variety of genres to choose from. read more

My friend and I went to World Street Kitchen late on a Saturday night. They are open until 10 pm which was great as we didn't start eating until about 9 pm. They have their own parking lot which was great in this part of the city. We were able to choose our own seat and all ordering was done using a QR code. I don't always love ordering and paying via a QR code but I appreciated not having to wait for the bill after finishing my meal. I ordered the Red Curry Chicken Bangkok Burrito and it was divine. What a fun twist in a curry dish + burrito. It was nice and creamy with a touch of spice. My friend ordered the BBQ Beef Bangkok burrito and it was also superb! It had a juicy flavor while not being too meaty. The tortillas they were in were also soft, and they did not take away from the flavor of the contents within the burrito. My family and I went to World Street Kitchen because we checked out the menu and pictures on Yelp and couldn't resist. Parking is street parking only, but there appeared to be a variety of easy options for this. Milk Jam Creamery is attached to this establishment if you're looking for dessert post-meal. They're pretty fast casual (order at the counter and food delivered at your table). They also seem very busy for UberEats, takeway / delivery type services. I ordered a plethora of items including a side of the kimchi, a side of the tofu and a side of the lemongrass meatballs. All very good items and flavorful. It's not often that I have lemongrass meatballs and the tofu was cooked perfectly! My family members all ordered a variety of bowls including the MUSHROOM BULGOGI & CHICKPEA HUMMUS BOWL (jalapeno-garlic sauce, cumin, scallion, extra virgin olive oil (contains sesame)). This bowl was good but very salty. I did not LOVE this, felt it was too salty. My husband ordered the Crispy Marinated Tofu Yum Yum Bowl. This included charred squash, shiitake, Chinese broccoli (contains dairy, peanuts, sesame). He very much enjoyed this and felt it was a perfect mix of all the ingredients in the bowl (especially the hidden sauteed herbs and veggies under the tofu). I had to deduct a star because the restroom situation was a little tricky. I had to wait in a very long line for ONE restroom for the entire restaurant. I also felt that the Bulgogi & Chickpea Hummus Bowl was extremely salty. Too salty for my comfort. Overall good experience though and would come back again. read more

Excellent food, really friendly service. This is a great place to drop in for a lunch, it has the right feels for that. We got the Korean BBQ (bulgogi I think) burrito, the wsk salad, and the protein-packed Korean beef hummus bowl. Highly recommend, but do be prepared for solid portions! read more

Great place for interesting flavors. They use a large variety of spices from various types of cuisines. But somehow, each of the dishes seemed to go well with the others. I'm always looking for good caramelized Brussels sprouts wherever I go. The dish here is in my top 1 or 2 of all time. So good! Loved the mix of herbs and spices. Each bite really packed a punch (in a good way). The fried chicken biscuit sandwich was also so yummy. The chicken was very well fried and the carrot/lemon slaw took it to another level. The only reasons why I'm not giving i5 stars is because we were incredibly thirsty all night after the meal, and some of the Brussels sprouts were bitter - even the strong spices couldn't quite cover that up. read more
