I'm not the biggest brunch or breakfast person, but I really liked the variety of options available. Sharing both savory and sweet dishes gave us a nice balance, and I'd definitely come back. The only minor issue was that two of our water glasses had a bit of white residue in them. I took my daughter and hubby to lunch in her favorite spot on a beautiful May day. We were excited to sit on the patio. I was pleased to see the patio is tented because I'm an old lady and I'm always cold! LOL. (They thought it was hot in the tent). Although I loved the Field Burger I'd had last year, I decided to try the Tuna Salad Sandwich with tots on the side. And holy cow, what a flavor bomb was that tuna salad. I wish I knew what was in it, but I guess I have to keep trying it until I can figure it out! :D Served on a delicious slice of crusty bread and smothered with a slice of melted cheese, this is a winner. A nice neighborhood gem. Off the beaten path in a lovely neighborhood. Salmon dinner was top notch with lots of fresh ingredient. The tuna melt was way beyond the normal or average that you get at most places. Service was friendly and efficient. They are generally quite busy and since not too large reservations are a good idea. What a brunch lovers gem! Fresh flowers and plants adorned the restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a last minute table for 5 people without a reservation. Lots of unique, fun and local treats at the front - great to go or for a fun local gift! I had a salmon bowl and it was delicious. Our group all cleaned their plates, the food was fresh and delicious and came out fast. We were able to choose from breakfast and lunch selections. Seems that everything on their menu has this "healthy" vibe to it which I appreciated. Had the breakfast quinoa bowl which had a lot of components but overall lacked flavor. I get the clean ingredients and minimalistic dish but there needs to be some sort of seasoning. This will be my second time dining here. I liked it so much. The first time that I came back. They have ample parking spaces and the ambience is a really nice touch with the tent outside and chandeliers. However, I did have the chicken with the Angel hair pasta and the noodles were weird and it was soupy so I didn't understand that, it did not taste like Angel hair at all but other than that, it was pretty good. Our server was very nice and very attentive however, there was lots of bees out there so my friend ordered a Prosecco and the bee was inside the glass and they didn't see it and when they took a sip the bee stung their lip. Food is excellent, fresh organic, flavorful. Service is excellent. Always one of my top places. Last two times had salad with grilled shrimp. This last time also had homemade strawberry ice cream, so creamy and smooth. In past loved the southwest salad with grilled chicken. Chicken is so filled with flavor and not dry like it can be. They had it so toasty and provided blankets as well. There were so many good looking choices for food, but I ended up getting the buddha bowl. It was just perfect. Lots of veggies, tofu, and pesto sauce was so flavorful. I also got a Dram sparkling water and I have to find where I can get that in a store. Would easily be my new favorite sparkling water. What a lovely perfect brunch on a gorgeous, lush patio on a perfect summer day! All of the tables had different fresh flowers on them. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was enough for two meals! I asked if they had plant based meat substitutes and they didn't but they substituted avocado, which made me very happy. I hate paying for meat when I've asked to leave it off, and avocados seem like it similarly priced item. DH had the special of the day which was ricotta on toast and didn't have nearly as much food so he ended up helping me and I still brought half of it home! He had the lavender lemonade, but we couldn't taste the lavender. I had the grapefruit tonic, which was delicious if a bit overpriced. We also ordered the gold potatoes which we really wished were more crispy. I think if they deep-fried them they would be really delicious. But none of these things made our experience pale, so giving five stars. We will definitely be back. read more

Great local neighborhood restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Menu options include something for everyone. We dined after 1 and breakfast was still available. Our choices were burgers and tots, beet salad, a roasted beet bowl and a baked desert to go. All of the food was well prepared, attractive and very tasty. Generous portion sizes left everyone with extra to take home. Service was helpful, fast and friendly. Seating and decor were fun and helped maintain the neighborhood feel. There is a large, comfy, heated tent out the back door that more than doubles seating capacity. It was being decorated in a ski chalet theme the day we were there, it would be fun to go back to see the result. Parking and access were easy. I love the easy pick up service. I use that primarily. The food is cooked well. The menu is consistent with a few new items seasonally. My only wish is for a little more seasoning options. More spicy or bold. I understand that isn't likely to sell for the people that do frequent this place though. Parking can be a little tricky and usually it isn't an issue. Went here for a brunch with a large group on the patio and they did a great job accommodating us! It was very loud so just a heads up if you are looking for a quieter place. The food was amazing! I had the shakshuka and it didn't disappoint! Everyone seemed very happy with their dish! I will say the splitting of the bill at the end seemed stressful and we did let the waitress know who's splitting what in the beginning. Would have been nice if they told us up from plaiting is hard with a larger group or told us how we can help make it easier on them. First time here. We were in the area for a bike ride along the Minnehaha Parkway and met some friends for lunch. A little windy and chilly, but not an issue if you had a jacket. The place was busy, and at times people were waiting to get seated. We had a 12:45 reservation and got seated right away. We were given waters and menus, and we were so busy talking that the server had to come back several times before we made our decisions (thanks for the patience!). Our group ended up ordering the Poke Bowl, Avocado Toast with Fried Eggs, Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, and Blackened Salmon with Dilly Ranch. It didn't take long for the food to come out (though we wouldn't have noticed since we were still talking). Everything was the right temperature, nicely presented, and good portions. Everyone was really happy with their choices -- except for mine. The salad part was good, but the Blackened Salmon was overcooked and dried out. It had good flavor, just cooked too long. Overall, a decent experience. I'd be interested in dining inside the building next time. The service the entire time was very attentive. My friends and I wanted to kill some time and get a late lunch before our flight and I found this charming spot. Plenty of outdoor seating, which was tented. It all felt very cozy and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and provided my little 10lb dog a big bowl of water. We weren't super hungry so we shared the local goat cheese with figs, prosciutto, pistachio, honey & garlic crostini and the summer vegetable sautee with garlic butter and parm. Even though both appetizers were a little on the pricey side, it was really delicious and gourmet! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the goat cheese combined with micro greens and sweetness from the fig and honey was a party in my mouth. We also got extra slices of crostini which was much appreciated. I also got a cappuccino and a Budapest muffin with sour cream frosting. Coffee and a sweet treat always hits the spot! So glad we stumbled upon this place and perfect that it's just a 10 minute drive from the airport. Would love to come back again next time I'm in town to try their teriyaki salmon bowl! read more

They also have great sugar cookies. They have plenty of parking and a pick up window by the door so you don't have to go in for take out. Came here on Pride to grab a post / pre celebration brunch and oh my gosh.. it did NOT DISAPPOINT! We had a reservation for 5 and upon arrival, it was all set and ready to go, a perfect table right up at the front and by the window. Our waitress was absolutely incredible, rolled with all of our crazy orders (we ordered TONS of drinks) and she came promptly with all of them and was so sweet and kind to us! I got the bloody mary with sake and oh my gosh.. I drank like 3 of them. So good, so light, fresh, and delicious! I ordered the salmon bowl (made my salmon blackened) and oh my goodness.. all of the ingredients were fresh, perfectly cooked, light, and above all, quality! Yes, the reviews are correct. Heather's is straight out awesome. Stopped by to get some take out. The building (and outside tent) are perfect. Airy, open, just a very clean appearance, and I don't mean it was swept well (although it was). Looking forward to going there and eating in with my beloved. We ordered the BLT and the Cubano. Heaven. Super luxe bacon, monster tomato slice, just perfect. And the Cubano, while not exactly a Miami (or Tampa) Cuban, far better than any other cuban I have had up North. Staff were very pleasant, even though it was a jumping evening. I stopped for a glass of wine at the bar (10 seats?) and was happy with their wine selection. Visited 10/23/25. Back at Heather's and it's always somewhere I recommend to others. I got the daily special and I highly appreciate that Heathers always rotates their menu and their specials. It gives everything a fresher feel and makes Heather's stand out from other places. Service is always solid-never been to Heather's and had it not be solid. They do a great job at listening to customers and adjusting accordingly. I got the curry special which was very good with shrimp, but if I were to order again I would lean towards my go to of the salmon BLT. My friends got the teriyaki salmon bowl and one isn't a fish fan so our waited kindly substituted chicken for her instead. Overall, a great experience as per usual. read more

Really cute Minneapolis gem! Super fun for brunch and really fun light atmosphere, and the people that work here are really nice and believe in what they're doing. There is a tremendous amount of parking on the street easy access. Also pedestrians can literally "walk up" and get immediate service through the special sliding window! Highly recommend! We make it a point to try as many Ruebens in town as possible. I can easily say this one is in the conversation for best in the cities. I had Cecils the week prior and this was better hands down. Bread could've arguably been a few millimeters less thick and there could've been a little more of a buttery crisp from the griddle. That said, the Swiss held on like spiderwebs pulling a bite away. The meat was cut cris-cross and never dragged any of its brethren out of the sandwich with it. It was juicy, but never sloppy. Our family did Heather's Easter takeout this year. Such a smooth experience from start to finish. We got two kinds of frittata (vegetarian and one with sausage), croissants (chocolate, plain, and almond), Spring salad with asparagus, peas, dill, feta, etc.; cheesy potatoes, deviled eggs, and fruit salad. As the person normally responsible for hosting and cooking, this was a LIFE saver. The food was picked up Sunday AM which was so nice not to have to store the day before. Everyone was gushing over the menu. My personal favorite was the spring salad. My mom couldn't stop talking about the frittata (so light and fluffy!) and the fruit salad was a hit with the kids. Heathers is the best! My family and I are some of the original fans because we got their takeout in 2020 when it opened and have been going ever since. We usually round the table all ordering the salmon teriyaki bowl because it is 10/10!! The most recent time we went, we tried some new things on the menu. I tried the risotto and it was delicious. Loved the big Parmesan chunks. The rolls were good nothing crazy. The shrimp was incredible in the appetizer! Loved it, but didn't get enough of the mango/pineapple salsa. There is a private lot directly next to Heather's as well as street parking, reservations are extremely easy to make online (and highly recommend) and the interior is as gentle as a bumble bee. Diners beware: the inside is tiny but there is a giant heated exterior tent which is where my party dined today for lunch. Breakfast is served until 2 pm which I took advantage of ordering the quinoa bowl topped with eggs. This meal is an absolute chef's kiss. My table got some cappuccinos and a latte all which can have added flavors right off the menu. The service was efficient and kind. I would have liked to explore the bakery case a little more at the main entry but due to timing and sitting outside I didn't get to observe it. Just another reason to go back! read more
