What a brunch lovers gem! Fresh flowers and plants adorned the restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a last minute table for 5 people without a reservation. Lots of unique, fun and local treats at the front - great to go or for a fun local gift! I had a salmon bowl and it was delicious. Our group all cleaned their plates, the food was fresh and delicious and came out fast. We were able to choose from breakfast and lunch selections. They have fun coffee syrups, I enjoyed a coconut latte! Service and staff were lovely too! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Parking on the street was pretty easy too!
Seems that everything on their menu has this "healthy" vibe to it which I appreciated. Had the breakfast quinoa bowl which had a lot of components but overall lacked flavor. I get the clean ingredients and minimalistic dish but there needs to be some sort of seasoning. The quinoa had some chimichurri mixed in but that was about all the sauce or flavor the dish had.
Stopped in after visiting a friend's pottery show. Ambiance is bistro/cafe style. It was hot so we sat inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Some inter choices for food and it was tasty. I would go back if in the area.
This will be my second time dining here. I liked it so much. The first time that I came back. They have ample parking spaces and the ambience is a really nice touch with the tent outside and chandeliers. However, I did have the chicken with the Angel hair pasta and the noodles were weird and it was soupy so I didn't understand that, it did not taste like Angel hair at all but other than that, it was pretty good. Our server was very nice and very attentive however, there was lots of bees out there so my friend ordered a Prosecco and the bee was inside the glass and they didn't see it and when they took a sip the bee stung their lip. Other than that, everything is great.
Met fellow yelper Philip N. here for lunch. Neither of us knew they took reservations for lunch, so we were walk-ins a d sat in the heated tent outside. I think I actually preferred that! They had it so toasty and provided blankets as well. There were so many good looking choices for food, but I ended up getting the buddha bowl. It was just perfect. Lots of veggies, tofu, and pesto sauce was so flavorful. I also got a Dram sparkling water and I have to find where I can get that in a store. Would easily be my new favorite sparkling water. Service was also quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend a stop here!
What a lovely perfect brunch on a gorgeous, lush patio on a perfect summer day! All of the tables had different fresh flowers on them. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was enough for two meals! I asked if they had plant based meat substitutes and they didn't but they substituted avocado, which made me very happy. I hate paying for meat when I've asked to leave it off, and avocados seem like it similarly priced item. DH had the special of the day which was ricotta on toast and didn't have nearly as much food so he ended up helping me and I still brought half of it home! He had the lavender lemonade, but we couldn't taste the lavender. I had the grapefruit tonic, which was delicious if a bit overpriced. We also ordered the gold potatoes which we really wished were more crispy. I think if they deep-fried them they would be really delicious. But none of these things made our experience pale, so giving five stars. We will definitely be back.
Great local neighborhood restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Menu options include something for everyone. We dined after 1 and breakfast was still available. Our choices were burgers and tots, beet salad, a roasted beet bowl and a baked desert to go. All of the food was well prepared, attractive and very tasty. Generous portion sizes left everyone with extra to take home. Service was helpful, fast and friendly. Seating and decor were fun and helped maintain the neighborhood feel. There is a large, comfy, heated tent out the back door that more than doubles seating capacity. It was being decorated in a ski chalet theme the day we were there, it would be fun to go back to see the result. Parking and access were easy. Definitely a place to give a try for good food and fun.
Went here for a brunch with a large group on the patio and they did a great job accommodating us! It was very loud so just a heads up if you are looking for a quieter place. The food was amazing! I had the shakshuka and it didn't disappoint! Everyone seemed very happy with their dish! I will say the splitting of the bill at the end seemed stressful and we did let the waitress know who's splitting what in the beginning. Would have been nice if they told us up from plaiting is hard with a larger group or told us how we can help make it easier on them. Not a bad thing just felt very disorganized and took over a half hour for bills to come out due to confusion.
First time here. We were in the area for a bike ride along the Minnehaha Parkway and met some friends for lunch. Didn't really get to see much of the inside since we got a table behind the restaurant under the tent. It was a nice day to be outside. A little windy and chilly, but not an issue if you had a jacket. The place was busy, and at times people were waiting to get seated. We had a 12:45 reservation and got seated right away. We were given waters and menus, and we were so busy talking that the server had to come back several times before we made our decisions (thanks for the patience!). Our group ended up ordering the Poke Bowl, Avocado Toast with Fried Eggs, Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, and Blackened Salmon with Dilly Ranch. It didn't take long for the food to come out (though we wouldn't have noticed since we were still talking). Everything was the right temperature, nicely presented, and good portions. Everyone was really happy with their choices -- except for mine. The salad part was good, but the Blackened Salmon was overcooked and dried out. It had good flavor, just cooked too long. Overall, a decent experience. I'd be interested in dining inside the building next time. The service the entire time was very attentive. But I'd definitely stay away from the Blackened Salmon.
My friends and I wanted to kill some time and get a late lunch before our flight and I found this charming spot. Plenty of outdoor seating, which was tented. It all felt very cozy and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and provided my little 10lb dog a big bowl of water. We weren't super hungry so we shared the local goat cheese with figs, prosciutto, pistachio, honey & garlic crostini and the summer vegetable sautee with garlic butter and parm. Even though both appetizers were a little on the pricey side, it was really delicious and gourmet! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the goat cheese combined with micro greens and sweetness from the fig and honey was a party in my mouth. We also got extra slices of crostini which was much appreciated. I also got a cappuccino and a Budapest muffin with sour cream frosting. Coffee and a sweet treat always hits the spot! So glad we stumbled upon this place and perfect that it's just a 10 minute drive from the airport. Would love to come back again next time I'm in town to try their teriyaki salmon bowl!
I've wanted to try this place for a while now. Multiple friends rave about the food here. Today I went with my friend to catch up. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and a raspberry lemonade. The lemonade was so fresh and tasty. The buffalo chicken sandwich was also very tasty and flavorful. Our server was attentive and helpful. We sat outside in the heated tent. It was so comfy, cozy and cute. Can't wait to try more from their menu in the future!
Love the atmosphere. The service was outstanding, the severs are soooo nice. And foods - I think the portion is perfect, taste was great. My salmon BLT feel little dry, a bit more sauce would be better. Fries are the best of all. It's so crispy and tasty. Love it.
Came here on Pride to grab a post / pre celebration brunch and oh my gosh.. it did NOT DISAPPOINT! We had a reservation for 5 and upon arrival, it was all set and ready to go, a perfect table right up at the front and by the window. Our waitress was absolutely incredible, rolled with all of our crazy orders (we ordered TONS of drinks) and she came promptly with all of them and was so sweet and kind to us! I got the bloody mary with sake and oh my gosh.. I drank like 3 of them. So good, so light, fresh, and delicious! I ordered the salmon bowl (made my salmon blackened) and oh my goodness.. all of the ingredients were fresh, perfectly cooked, light, and above all, quality! We ended up thanking the manager and she was so kind and courteous to us (we were a rowdy yet fun) table! When I get brunch, this is what I want my experience to be every single time! Amazing ambiance, food, drinks, and company! Will be back here!

We stopped in for Sunday brunch. The major part of the restaurant is in a heated tent. Very, almost too warm. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the breakfast biscuit with eggs, sausage, and maple butter. It was excellent! We also had the Brussels sprouts, sweet potato hash. It was also delicious. Others in our party had braised short rib sandwich and salmon blt sandwich. Everything was delicious. read more

I've visited Heather's twice in the last year and can confidently recommend it as a perfect breakfast/lunch/brunch neighborhood nook! The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The seating area has plenty of natural light and an almost whimsical feel with its intricately decorated glasses and flowers on each table. And the food is delicious! I ordered variations of their egg breakfast sandwich on both occasions. Their bread is thickly cut, generously buttered and slightly toasted. Each sandwich has the perfect ratio of egg to cheese to meat to spread! I also appreciate the variety of their menu without being overwhelming. A definite must try and probable addition to your restaurant rotation! read more
How is this only my first time here???? SO GOOD! Didn't have a reservation so seating options were at the bar or outside in the "walk up" section. We opted for the bar and it was perfect because we could see all the plates coming out of the kitchen. YUM! Had the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl. Each element was delicious- would order again next time but too excited to try something else off the menu! Service was fabulous as well! Interaction with bar tender/server was top notch! read more
My mother and I recently started couples counseling, so we've been doing our therapy homework over lunch at local spots. We're only two weeks in, so we're still finding our groove, but both the service and the food at Heather's made it more comfortable. Today was beautiful. The place was completely booked out with reservations-- impressive, considering it was a Wednesday during lunch hour. We were happy to get a spot outside on the side of the building. Our waiter, a fashion student with fantastic fake glasses, was attentive and personable. I ordered the Summer Stone Fruit Salad. The peaches and blackberries complemented the goat cheese perfectly, and I found myself trying to get forkfuls with every ingredient on it. The flavors were rich and satisfying. Honestly, it's what my body was craving. I can't wait to go back! read more

This place was really cute. quaint, bright and clean. The best was it was in my neighborhood. Not too big on the inside, but they had tent seating too. The service was nice and the waitress was as well. I was flip flopping between the Maple Biscuit Sandwich and the Roasted Turkey Sandwich. I had the biscuit because it was still early enough. I'll go back for the sandwich. This sandwich was huge! I didn't pick it up because of the syrup. They don't put a lot on but enough to get you sticky. I used a fork and knife. It was the right amount of sausage, egg and biscuit in every bite. I would've liked the biscuit a bit softer on the outside, but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. The coffee was good, fresh and bottomless. The price was decent as well. I would definitely go back. They're is something they're for everyone. I went back for round 2 today through icy roads! I ordered the roasted turkey sandwich with fries and my husband had the Buddha bowl. You can tell from the pictures that my sandwich was thick and stacked! We both enjoyed our meals. So good and comforting. I also got 3 cookies and they were soft and natural. So good. Not overly sweet. I also changed my stats from 4 to 5. Because I forgot to mention that I loved how on Monday our waitress was very attentive to another patron who was blind. She was very thorough in helping him while helping her other tables. She helped him sit, set his stuff up so he could find it and prepare his cobs on his food. I thought she went above and beyond and she didn't have to. I applaud that! I'll be returning again and again. read more
Enjoyed brunch on their patio. Nice size and decorated cute. Our server was very friendly and everything was delivered hot and accurate. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is due to the way my burger was prepared. I ordered a medium burger and received well done. Would go here again for brunch - I have my eyes on the buffalo chicken sandwich. read more

Always an amazing meal whether we go for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Love the vibe here and service is top notch! We highly recommend the teriyaki salmon bowl 10/10! read more
The main dining area is so cute, but it was full so we ate lunch in a dark tent outside instead. Service was ok. My Salmon BLT sandwich was meh; salmon was too dry and I wished the bacon was crispy. My friends enjoyed their avocado toasts and lattes though. read more

Heather's is so quaint--I loved the ambiance and all of the plants/greenery ! They have a cooler where you can easily grab food to go. Parking was easy! The food was top notch. I loved the freshness and the flavor of the Southwestern Salad (I added steak to mine for extra protein). It's often hard to find a salad that has enough dimension and flavor from the fresh ingredients and not just the dressing. I will seriously come back here just to get this salad again. The Buddha bowl and Teriyaki Salmon also came highly recommended which my friends thoroughly enjoyed! My biggest regret is not trying this place sooner! read more
We checked this place out over St. Patty's Day Saturday brunch and were overall pretty happy. Vibe: I LOVED the feel of this place. Very white with floral accents and a beautiful green tile backsplash at the bar. Overall, very aesthetically pleasing. Parking: There is a lot next to the building. It gets pretty busy, but is also pretty big. Food: I 100% recommend the Orange Caramel Pecan French Toast. The orange really comes through and pairs well with the caramel and gets some nice added crunch from the pecans. My friend got the (potentially seasonal?) pistachio pancakes with a irish cream whip cream. The irish whip cream was super decadent and yummy, but the pancakes didn't actually taste like pistachios. We agreed the french toast was the winner of the two and probably wouldn't order those pancakes again. We also split a side of bacon. Drinks: We got classic mimosas and I got a cappuccino, which I wouldn't recommend. It had that sour coffee flavor that I really don't like. Service: Good! All in all, pretty good and I will come back for lunch/dinner another time. read more
Went to lunch with a friend on a Friday late morning. We made reservations as we heard it can get a little busy. They had both street and designated parking which was easy and convenient. Our server was exceptional and super patient as we took a little extra time to place our order. Now let's get to the good stuff, our food :) I ordered the chicken pasta which was delicious! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the pasta had a great flavorful. My friend really enjoyed the sweet potato hash with brussel sprouts and we each had drinks. The coffee and chamomile tea were yummy! We ended with a dessert and this was the cherry on top of an excellent lunch. The space is smaller but it is bright, airy, and super cute. I loved the floral and simplicity of the restaurant. I'd go back again! read more

Excellent service and food for our group of 5. We ate out in the heated tent behind the restaurant (which was fun & quirky-from the chandeliers to the fresh flowers on every table). I tried the Brussel Sprout Sweet Potato Hash (it was amazing!). We had a bottle of Prosecco to share with three of us (it was more than enough for us!). read more
Heather's is my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis- the food is always great, even though they switch up the menu pretty often you will always find something delicious! The restaurant itself is so cute- there are always fresh flowers on the tables and the glassware is super cute! The wait staff is so friendly every time I come in! This trip I had a chocolate croissant and a cheese crepe with greens on the side and I was as impressed as ever! I already can't wait to go back! read more

Heather, Heather, Heather! Wow. Great neighborhood place. Who knew that such a great place would not only have a cute patio outdoors with fun chandeliers hanging but have a secrete too. What you ask? Well, the cinnamon rolls were possibly the best I've ever had. Blew us away. Waiter told us that the pastry chef came from a famous local place and it was easy to see that Heather cares about the quality of the food. Very nice coffee and cappuccino's. Oh, the rest of the food, very generous sized portions and excellent. The biscuit egg sandwich came with a locally sourced sausage with amazing flavor and filled me up. So happy we found this gem of a place on our family outing in MN for a wedding. read more

Yum! I tried to come here once last year without reservations and was turned away. This time we reserved a few days in advance, and specifically requested the patio, and it worked out great. I think I should have tried again sooner because this is a really good place to eat. I came in on a rainy day in early March, but the patio was under a heated tent, so it was very comfortable. The only issue is that it was really loud in that tent; the acoustics in there are harsh when there is even an average number of customers talking normally. I ordered the chicken paillard pasta and my mom got a turkey sandwich. Everything was prepared really well. It all just tasted kind of perfect. I can't tell you how delighted I was by that pasta dish. I'm going to return here soon, but it will be a dilemma deciding between getting that pasta again and getting other things from the menu that looked good. And we had the weekend brunch menu; there are even more options at dinnertime. The indoor space is handsome; there is less seating than on the patio, though. There's a bar area and a counter that sells some artisanal food things like hot sauce and homemade Chex mix. I am seriously considering returning very, very soon because I can't stop thinking about how good my food was. read more
Came for brunch. Lots of great options on the menu which made it hard to choose between brunch and lunch options. Which is always a good problem to have. I opted for brunch and went with the corned beef hash. There were thick pieces of corned beef and a good mix of potatoes and veggies. A very filling meal! The coconut latte was perfect, as was the mimosa. read more

So... I was sitting my office and was SUPER hungry but hadn't a clue what I was hungry for (I know I know totally first world problem) so I typed in yelps search bar "I'M HUNGRY!!!" (Yes the caps mattered) First restaurant that was suggested was Heather's. Now I had been to Heather's before for Sunday brunch and it was fantastic. We sat outside in the big tent and had a lovely if not elegant, affordable brunch. But I hadn't been there since that visit. So I thought why not. Flipped through people's reviews saw the Field Burger, my mouth instantly salivated and I immediately called in my order. My oh my!!! Friggin' JACKPOT!!!! This burger is perfectly done to my liking, a little pink but not red, bacon is crispy and the flavor... OH MY GOSH.... It's delicious. Somehow that word is insufficient. If you've never been to Heather's you gotta go. But not just for the meals (which are. Truly wonderful, but the baked goods at the front! Cookies, muffins, (some dude bout a whole layered LEMON RASPBERRY birthday cake (I seriously considered mugging him, except that someone somewhere wouldn't have gotten a birthday cake... I should have asked to attend... that cake was beautiful... they even gave him candles!) I digress... But not really. That's what Heather's does to you. And it's because of their staff. These are wonderfully hospitable people who intentionally work to make you have a lovely meal and experience. I'll end with the same sentiment of Chicago's politics: Go to Heather's and go often! read more

I visited Heather's at about noon on a Monday. The small restaurant was still pretty crowded and we were only seated right away because a reservation cancelled. Their menu is on-par with what I would expect from a cafe and I decided to grab the two eggs and toast your way. I got my eggs scrambled and got wheat toast. You also get to pick a side of meat, so I got the sausage patty. This food was DIVINE. I'm typically a French toast/pancake person but I am so glad I picked the eggs and toast. The toast also came with a side of homemade jam and it was delicious. Highly recommend. I'd also recommend getting a reservation to ensure you can get a seat. read more

My wife and I were on our weekly "Try a new restaurant" Saturday. We have been wanting to try Heather's for a long time now and today we pulled the trigger. I am so glad we did. We made a reservation for the outside tent, which is highly recommended, on a pretty chilly day in the Twin Cities. We took an hour long walk around Lake Nokomis before hand, so I was ready for some nosh. I ordered an Indeed IPA while I perused the menu and it didn't take long to focus in on the Cubano. My always go to, they are pretty difficult to mess up. This one had Fischer Farms Roast Pork Loin, Ham, Gruyere, Pickled Onions, Pickled Jalapeño Peppers, Sweet Mustard Sauce, on a French Roll. I got a side salad for my accoutrement. It came out in about 10 minutes and I ordered an apple pie cider from a place in Duluth to have with my meal. The sandwich was huge and the bread was super fresh. Didn't look too pressed down like most Cubanos, but the ham was piled high and the cheese added a sweetness to it. It could have used more mustard, but they jalapeños were a nice addition, that I noticed in the final bites. I could only eat half of it, so I have a nice surprise waiting for me for a meal over the next few days. The side salad was spectacular, with a nice vinaigrette and super fresh greens. Nice tent with lots of heaters and very nice servers. A definite must try. Everything that came out looked amazing, especially their egg sandwich plates, read more
