I go to the clinic nearby often and was looking for a coffee shop and this one says it's right behind were I go, however the first time I tried to find it, I couldn't and kind of gave up and left. The next time I went I circled the building about 3 times before realizing that it's inside of the event center. I wish they had a better sign/indicator of where it's located. There were a ton of people hanging out in the parking lot which was a bit off putting as to where you go to enter because if you didn't know, it would feel like you are going to enter someone's event. The coffee shop itself was cute and simple not too much going on. I did notice the trash was a bit overflowing and the tables were a bit messy (as I went later in the day) but otherwise it looked like they had a decent amount of seating and it was pretty quiet. There were also a few tables and seating right outside of the coffee shop in the common area of the businesses. It looked like there was a restaurant across the hall. I feel like the barista working could have been a bit friendlier, I don't even recall if he even said any words to me but otherwise, the menu was super simple, no specialty drinks or anything, prices were fair!

I was pleasantly surprised by Nomadic Cafe & Desserts. It is located in an unsuspecting business center with plenty of parking to offer. The Cafe was relatively quiet as we were the only ones in line to order. They offered a sufficient amount of seating and was a peaceful space to bring a laptop and work if that is what you desire. I ordered the matcha and my bf ordered a latte. We both really enjoyed our drinks and the service was friendly and quick. The drink prices were very fair and I look forward to visiting Nomadic again.

Great food, great ambiance. I'd say be prepared for longer lines here. Seems to be a popular place.

Amazing lattes and teas. Don't pass up this gem hidden away in a business park... I almost missed it. If you come here you you have tea.

There is some street parking as well as some paid ramps. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10AM. By then, it was busy, but I was able to still find a seat. The staff were kind and I think as pleased with the number of drink options as well as pastries - gluten free, too! I enjoyed a seasonal lemon bar latte (yum!) and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. I will likely be back. The coffee is great, the parking situation is just a bit weird.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

Being at Mall of America, you are never terribly far from a Caribou Coffee. There are six of them. The problem? Trying to figure out which one to check in to on the Yelp app is super confusing. My second check-in attempt was correct. Yay! This cafe is steps away from Radisson Blu Hotel, which is connected to the mall. I would find it both cool and deadly to roll out of bed in the morning and head over to this Caribou Coffee. It's also next to J. Jill, by Nickelodeon Universe. If you spot any one of these three places, you're near this cafe. The downside of this cafe is that it closes at 3 pm on weekdays and 4 pm on weekends. Considering that the stores at this mall tend to stay open between 7 and 9 pm, cutting it short so early is a concern. There was a lineup when I got to this cafe. I stood in line. It did move relatively quickly. I got a friendly woman at the counter. She took down my phone number associated with my perks points. I then ordered a large sparkling peach black tea. I paid with a credit card. I also tipped. Done! As I waited for my drink, I browsed around. I liked the drinkware and mugs at this store. There were plenty of snacks that looked yummy and intriguing. My drink didn't take long to be prepared. I thanked the woman when I got my drink in a Christmas-themed cup and looked for a place to sit. I oddly didn't feel cozy sitting on padded stools without any back support. Instead, there were comfy couch chairs in front of this store, so I sat there and enjoyed my drink. I loved my drink. It was perfect and fizzy. I actually sat in this cozy chair for an hour, casually sipping on my drink and figuring out which stores to shop at next. My experience was positive at this cafe. I'd return whenever I'm on the second floor and in this part of the mall. (469)
