This was my first time at a Capital One Café, and I really love the experience! Being a Capital One credit card holder I get half off on drinks and personalized banking here. At this location, I was given a nice little drawstring bag and bag of popcorn for being a member . I still have the bag and use it constantly during my travels, which is nice ! I love going to Capital One cafés and checking them out when I'm traveling ! read more

I had no idea we had a Capital One Cafe in MOA until I walked past this recently! I had to stop in and see what it was like. I've been into one other Capital One Cafe before, so I knew that as a cardholder, I got 50% off any drinks. Not a bad deal, especially if you're looking for a bev or somewhere to hang for a bit in MOA. SERVICE The staff at the front are very cheery and welcoming and immediately begin asking if you've been before, if you have a card, etc. They directed me to the counter to order. During my visit, the staff member at the counter was quite the opposite of energy from the front staff. They were quite backed up with a few other people's orders in front of me, and it took ~10 minutes for me to get my drink. COST I was surprised that my small matcha with oat milk and a half pump of sweetener came up to $10, so I ended up still spending $5. DRINKS They have some nice drink options, but unfortunately were out of a few of their seasonal menu items, so I opted for a matcha latte. Note that they do not sweeten their matcha so you'll need to add a pump of sweetener if you prefer that. SPACE The space is the big win here! Lots of tables, and even a few nooks that can be booked by cardholders. It was very clean and comfortable, well designed, and a great place to work for a bit or hang out. Not too loud, and plenty of seating available on a Friday. This is a good option to get a reduced-cost drink if you're a cardholder while you're MOA shopping! read more

What a cute space! If I was on business staying at a hotel near here, this would be great. You can reserve a private workspace for some uninterrupted quiet time or meeting time. There are 4 rooms in total so look online ahead if you are hoping to get one. At the center of the space is a Cafe, with a variety of drinks and food. Looks like their drinks are very creative, yet simple. I had a turmeric ginger latte that was pretty tasty!! My kids had hot apples cider and cocoa which were also great! This isn't just a Cafe, its also a bank. Grab cash a the ATM, apply or upgrade your card, and more. So, if you're a Capitol One card holder you'll get extra discounts and perks here as well! I don't have a Capitol One card but I love stopping by this coffee shop whenever I'm at the mall because the coffee is so delicious! I've tried their seasonal pumpkin latte as well as their signature honey lavender latte - both iced, both so tasty! They are just the right amount of sweetness and I love the coffee beans used from Verve Coffee Roasters. The nice thing is that if you are a Capitol One or Discover card holder, you get a discount on their drinks. I'm sure it would be a huge perk if you had one because the prices are already pretty decent for coffee without the card. The space is clean and modern looking throughout the whole cafe. I wasn't pressured to get a card or anything like that and I'm always greeted warmly when I enter the store. Sometimes during the weekday, the service is slightly slower but it's not too bad. There are rooms that are available if you want to study or have a meeting or something. I'm not sure if they have to be booked in advance or are first come, first served. But I'm sure it would come in handy! read more

Amazing drinks! I'm astonished that a credit card company offers such great beverages. I've grabbed a free drink with a friend, and came back the next time and paid for one. There's often freebies and fun promos to get a Capitol one card (they haven't worn me down yet). This is a great pick me up in the mall, and excellent place to get work done. It's a great chill spot after a long day at the mall. I've really come to appreciate this spot-it's a gem within the mall! read more

I normally don't do banks but they had an event to check my travel aura and get a passport cover with my initials so I couldn't pass it up. I stopped by, found out I'm violent so I'm off to Chile . Ty was very polite, not pushy and informative. The space is open to everyone. They have tables, quiet spaces and a place to by a drink or a small bite to eat. I might just go back to banks. read more

It's a cafe at the Mall of America, plus also there are people who want you to ask them about banking services. I just got a Capital One credit card and thought I would pop in to see if there were special privileges. Anyone can come in here; it's not like an airport lounge, but if you are a cardholder (Capital One or Discover), you get 50% off the cafe drinks. They have some options! I just got hot chocolate but they have some different spins on coffee and chai. There are also some savory solids on offer; no discount for cardholders. Friendly baristas of the sort you tend to expect at a cafe. It's clean and spacious and quiet. It's clear that there are people on staff that are there for banking services. No one hassled me or anything, but I think if I wanted to know about those kinds of offerings I would have been warmly invited into that side of their business. read more

Is this a safe space to say that the Capital One Café is one of my favorite coffee shops? All banking aside, the drinks are delish--genuinely one of my favorite matcha lattes I've ever had (and they even currently have a seasonal version with strawberry cold foam!), and the coffee/espresso is great too. There are plenty of great deals available, for both Capital One customers and not--their MLB Mondays promo offers a free drink on Mondays to all, and they also have a $3.60 drink deal on Fridays for Capital One customers! And, you can always get half off your drink when paying with a Capital One card, which rocks. Another cool customer perk is the nooks--I had no idea about this until I came in the other day and one of the Ambassadors told me about it and showed me how to reserve one--customers are able to book time in 30, 60, 90, or 120 minute increments through the Capital One app, so this is one of the best coffee spots in town if you want to get out of the house to work but still need a semi-private space to take a meeting, which is something I'm always looking for. You're also allowed to bring in outside food if you want something beyond their cafe food offerings, which rocks since the MOA has so many good food options! The staff here are all great, too--the Verve baristas make a mean drink, and the Capital One Ambassadors are SO helpful if you have any questions related to your account or need to do some actual banking. Every time I'm here, I'm always looking for Owen in particular, who is the absolute greatest and taught me more about the perks I get as a Capital One customer than I learned in the entire first year I've had my card. read more

I visited the Capital One café to redeem a free drink coupon and was pleasantly surprised. The barista was friendly and gave me recommendations for a seasonal drink. I tried the gingerbread latte, which I enjoyed. The space itself was comfortable. Hello, I'm writing to let you know that a data leak involving customers' personal information (bank card and Social Security Numbers) may have occurred as a result of poor business/operational practices at your Capital One Cafe in the Mall of America, Bloomington, MN. On Friday, July 24, 2026, at approximately 3:45 pm, the floor greeter approached the table I was sitting at and asked, in a rather passive-aggressive manner, to not take photos out of respect for customer's privacy. You can see this interaction by reviewing your security camera footage. I was not taking photos of anything private - if you want to provide me your email address, I can send you the photos which show that they were of the general cafe space and the cafe menu. Ironically, shortly after this interaction, while another member of your staff was helping another customer with a financial transaction, the staff member did not ask for the customer to physically hand over the bank card (which should be good security practice in a generally public place such as a cafe in a mall). Instead, the customer read out loud their full bank card number, which could be audibly heard by all of the guests sitting nearby. Anyone sitting nearby, with a notepad and a pencil, could have jotted down that customer's banking information. No camera or iPhone needed. Furthering the irony is that, on July 18th (few days prior), a different member of your staff repeated Social Security Numbers out loud while helping a father and his daughter open up new Capital One accounts. Again, multiple guests were sitting nearby and any one of them could have memorized or jotted down those numbers. Perhaps your floor greeter should spend some time learning about best operational practices and reminding his fellow colleagues to follow such practices, rather than spend time antagonizing customers about them taking photos of mall coffee shop space (in which there is no reasonable expectation of privacy). Lastly, I would like to mention that the floor greeter did not approach nor scold two white women taking photos in the cafe on July 24th. He approached me (a person of color) only. If you do have a blanket 'no phones' policy in your coffee shop, please enforce it consistently and fairly without subjectiveness. Retraining your floor/greeter staff to consistently follow policy rather than selectively antagonizing certain customers will help avoid discrimination complaints, general liability, etc. read more

One of the Best Banking Experiences Ever! I had an amazing experience with Emo at the Capital One Café. Honestly, one of the best interactions I've ever had at a financial institution. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and enjoys what he does. We need more people like Emo in banking 10/10 experience read more

Double standards written all over it, no rules, just a "safe space" that's the Minneapolis way of saying your presence can offend anyone at anytime without even knowing what you did or said, in my case a a t shirt Do not go here, I looked up this place and went, 20 minutes after going here, I had someone telling me, excuse me, this is a "safe space" and we are trying to make this place feel welcoming to all and I hadn't even said anything, but apparently someone was offended by my t-shirt that said "Duct Tape, it can't cure stupid, but it can muffle the sound" I looked up Capital One Cafe policies went to their corporate website, talked to their places, they don't have rules, they are marked as a safe space, which is the Minnesota way of saying we reserve the right to kick you out if we are offended by your point of view. For a place that has no official rules, they sure like to play the warning cards, they have an African American dude tall and skinny puts on a nice fake smile, but you know he's talking about you behind your back, he strikes me as the positive vibe types, I think his name tag said Ty or Tyler. That guy has back talking written all over him and boy can he talk, I spotted him going on about his kid and everything non work related the same day he gave me the boot over a T-shirt, kind of sounds like a bit of a double standard to me, it's OK for you to talk about your kid, but I am not free to wear a t-shirt Capital One does not publish a single, dedicated "Safe Space Policy" PDF, but rather embeds principles of safety, inclusion, and respect within its Code of Business Conduct and third-party supplier policies. These documents outline commitments to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and violence. Tell me how a T-shirt is harassment, discriminatory, or violent. read more

Kind of nice this is here in the middle of this big MoA. It's open to all, but CapitalOne card users get 50% discount if they use their card while here for purchases. 50% discount for CapitalOne card user. I ordered a tropical green tea $6.25 hot and my husband ordered a random hot drink with oat milk and anything else that would be good. Their staff ended up adding some caramel, hazelnut and some mocha to the hot coffee. 20 ounce Peet's coffee with random stuff was only $6. After some musical chairs to find a cozy seat, we settled on the very low slouchy couch. It's a bit too slouchy. The service is quite quick and prices are reasonably priced too. The staff are super nice, helpful and friendly here. read more

I used to Love this cafe - wonderful staff and a great value. But it's been months since I stopped by. The drinks are much smaller now, so 50% off for being a cardholder doesn't give you the same bang for your buck. The staff is now ever changing and seems to be outsourced to a corporate catering company. It's still okay, but I wouldn't say I'm a regular anymore. read more

I actually can't express how much I ride for the Capital One Cafe.... Who would have thought that I come to the MALL OF AMERICA for JUST A COFFEE.... If you go here with any regularity, they will remember you and ask about the things you talked about last time. "Hey, how was your trip to San Diego?" They are so friendly and effortless in making all the conversation be with ease. They have helped me with Capital One issues, helped me find places in the mall to buy certain things, given me free coffee coupons, and just been a great break to some laptop work we do their on a regular basis. Using our Capital One cards gives us half price on our latte's so you gotta love that. They have their own restroom which is nice. What a great place to retreat to when you need a quiet moment while visiting MOA. A Peet's Coffee bar is located inside with a full menu of beverages and snacks to choose from.
