Had such a fun visit to Jones Coffee in Minneapolis with my cousin! We tried the Smoky Peach Latte and the Rosemary Maple Cold Brew from their new fall menu, and both were so yummy. I loved trying two completely different flavors, and both were such fun seasonal drinks. I also got an everything bagel with cream cheese, which was the perfect little snack to go with my coffee. It was a great spot to catch up with my cousin and enjoy some fall flavors. read more

We were in the mood for a local coffeeshop visit, so we headed over to this spot for a cortado! Small parking lot available to the side of this spot, otherwise nearby street parking! The space inside could use a bit of a facelift...behind the coffee bar was a bit dingy, but there are plenty of tables for various groups to hang out! We got ours to go, so we didn't hang around. The staff were very helpful and friendly during the visit! The coffee was tasty, and well made, although, I was disappointed with the lack of art atop my cortado. My cousin had the matcha latte, and said it was super tasty! Not a standout or destination coffee spot, but if you need a cup, it will suffice! read more

Honestly I forgot what drinks I ordered exactly, but they were both holiday specials. One was an egg nog and the other was festive too - I think like a carrot cake with cream cheese cold foam. I remember the cold foam being amazing and the drinks being fine. What was the worse part was the customer service. We walked in about 10 minutes prior to closing. No welcome. No appreciation. Just short lipped service. That's what I remember most. I bought a bogo coffee book for 2026 and see this company in there, but I won't head to this location again. What was the most unwelcoming gesture the baristas did was shortly after walking in, one came over and shut off the lights. There were still about 10-15 people in the store. Mind you, this was 10 minutes prior to closing. I view that as disrespectful. I've never worked a customer service job where that would be deemed reasonable. read more

Had a great experience getting two drinks to go here! SEATING/INSIDE I'd never been in here before, and was pleasantly surprised by the open space and decent amount of seating, with a few different types of seating. They also have a glass garage door that would be lovely to have open in the warmer months! SERVICE Service was quick and friendly, and when I ordered my drink extra hot since we'd be walking out in the cold with it, they nailed it. FOOD We didn't get anything to drink, but they had a pretty impressive menu of breakfast items and baked goods. Breakfast sandwiches and burritos range from $8-13. They have a few lunch sandwiches as well. DRINK We were feeling in the seasonal sip mood, so I got the apple chaider and my brother got the maple sweet potato latte. Both were delicious! Highly recommend both. Their other signature drinks sound great too. read more

Stopped in to grab a BOGO drink through the Coffee Compass. The location is in a really nice area, which made me excited to try it. I ordered a 16oz eggnog latte and a 16oz salted maple cream cold brew. The eggnog latte was definitely the highlight for me. On a chilly day it was a true hug in a cup and perfect for the season. Unfortunately, the service missed the mark for me. We came in close to closing, which I understand, but I don't think service quality should change just because it's the end of the day. As we were ordering, I watched the gal lock the door and turn off the lights, even though other customers were still enjoying their drinks and conversation, and I hadn't even ordered yet. That felt completely rude and unwelcoming. Will I return? Not after this experience. Operating hours are operating hours, and this visit left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I've heard great things about Jones and I'm glad I got to try them out! I came during the week around lunch time and was able to grab a table. There's free WiFi and outlets, and a designated parking lot which is great. I tried their maple cardamom latte which was pretty good, but there were other specialty drinks I'd like to try which caught my eye as well. The employees were very friendly and it's a great vibe to spend some time in and work. read more

Staff were friendly, and put my order into my re-usable cup no problem. They even brought it over to me at my table! I had a large iced latte and it was delicious. Other people really enjoyed their pastries as well. They have a bulletin board in the front vestibule covered with flyers, so it's a good place for local advertising. They have a few outdoor tables as well. Parking is easy (as long as it's not a super crowded time), drinks are good. read more

Stopped by quick before the farmers market and they seemed a little understaffed but workers were friendly and patient, and our drink order came out very quickly considering! I got an iced honey oat matcha latte which is one of their specialty drinks - it was tasty but the matcha flavor was weaker than I'm used to. Don't get me wrong, it was still very tasty. My husband got a straight up cold brew and it was nice, more on the smooth side than a sharp fruity bean. Overall, easy little spot to pop into and the drinks were good. The pastries looked delish so we'll definitely be back soon. read more

What an awesome spot for coffee on a chilly day! I got one of their seasonal drinks, the Maple Sweet Potato Latte and they said it's like a better version of a pumpkin spice latte and it delivered! It's like creamier and more of a subtle/less sweet flavor which I loved, definitely recommend it! We got the coffee to go and were walking around on a chilly morning so they made them extra hot which warmed us up on our walk so it was perfect. The coffee came out quick and the staff was super helpful and kind. read more

I got a matcha with coconut water and it was so great to try! I will for sure be adding that to my matcha routine now! I also got a pesto turkey sandwich which was the perfect size! The service was amazing! The staff even brought out water bowls for the dogs! I sat outside and enojyed everything! It was the perfect place to relax! read more

I LOVE Jones Coffee! Their drinks are amazing and their cold brew is one of my favorites in the Twin Cities. My go-to drink is the Gingerbread Cold Brew -- there's a really generous layer of cream cheese cold foam which makes it so good. On the weekends it gets super busy and the small parking lot in the back gets really crowded, so it gets hard to find parking. I like stopping in on the weekends to grab a treat and visiting the Linden Hills library right afterwards. read more

Prime location at 43rd & Upton lanes this afternoon nice stop to work for a bit. I wouldn't call it cozy by any means but it's a nice space that can get pretty loud at busy times. A couple tables outside and plenty inside. The service can be pretty grouchy at times, but never bad by any means. The coffee itself can be pretty all over the place. Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes the flavors are just really off. I've had roasts ranging from straight gas station drip to one I'll gladly pay $4 for. They house-make all the baked goods and food. I haven't had their deli stuff but their croissants were not very impressive. Tasty, but had a very bread-like texture and not flaky at all. Worth a stop if you're in the area but not something I'd go out of my way for. read more

I don't know how people are having all these great experiences here..... My experience was horrible. I came here with a friend on a Sunday. We stood there for a really long time while the staff literally ignored us.....we both thought it was a joke. It felt like we weren't even there. When we did get called up to the register the person was rude...not a good vibe. Now on to the coffee...WOW the cold brew was not good. Actually tasted like burnt urine. I will not be returning or referring people here. read more

Delicious lavender honey latte! Was in the area for an appointment and had a little extra time to grab a coffee. Quick service from the barista. Ambience leaves a little to be desired, but I was taking mine to go, so didn't really matter. Small parking lot to the side conveniently had one space available for me. Note they are cashless. read more

Living near Seattle turned us into coffee snobs, so I get very excited when a coffee shop is a 5-star review. They roast their own beans which is what drew us in the door, and they did not disappoint! Their seasonal drink that we had was GREAT. And we got some of their beans, and they were probably the best that we've found since moving back to MN. Service was friendly and they have some great photos on the walls to browse. Thanks Jones! read more

If you could have a spirit coffee shop like some people have a spirit animal, this would be mine. The rose, the cardamom, the lavender. I'm here for all of it. I ended up getting the maple cardamom latte which was great. Also had the chocolate croissant--beautifully flaky and just the right chew. I got to sample the light roast coffee which was a delight. I'd come back when I'm in town and if I lived here I'd be a regular. Love the low level background sounds of people chatting, chill music, food prep. read more

The staff were great and welcoming. The place is cozy and inviting but I wasn't impressed with what I ordered. I got the hot chocolate and a cinnamon muffin. The hot chocolate wasn't very flavorful, more milky than chocolatey. The muffin also tasted more like baking powder than cinnamon and so much of it was stuck on the wrapper, very dry. It was a neat and convenient location with its own parking lot. I would recommend trying other options if you are visiting. read more

Great coffee, building and service. Food? Meh. I had the cortado- bliss. Great espresso combined just right. Most small places that roast their own coffee would be better off serving Dagwood or Collectivo. Not here. They do a great job roasting and it comes out in their espresso Staff was also super nice and friendly, putting up with my old man ramblings And it is a nice place to enjoy your coffee. The inside is nice with a variety of seating and a small out door patio for the two months of summer The food? Not a lot of choices and just ok. I had the bagel with cream cheese and the bagel was nothing special Come for the coffee, service, and ambiance. For the food look elsewhere. read more

Such a cute spot tucked away in Linden Hills. I've seen a few different Jones coffees pop up recently, and have been meaning to go to one for awhile now. Well, I finally got to try one out! I went to Linden Hills for the opening of their farmer's market for the season and noticed Jones across the street. I hustled over so I could sip on an iced coffee while I walked around the market. I ordered a vanilla lavender latte and it was delicious! And not too bad price wise either. The inside is simple and cute. The staff were sweet and super quick with making my order. Jones seems to have a lot of really yummy food options, so I'll definitely need to go back sometime to try those! read more

I'd been coming here for three years when I recently decided to stop. They used to be my favorite coffee shop. I work down the road, the drinks were good, and the baristas were friendly. Now, not so much. They have a very high turnover rate for some reason, and they're often training new people who don't know what they're doing yet. Quality is very inconsistent! One day I got a bagel toasted with cream cheese and it was perfect. The next week, the girl making my order smeared so much cream cheese on that it was coming out the hole in the middle, and it was cold and too much and ruined the bagel. Another time the bagel was dry with barely any cream cheese. Sometimes, I'd order the hot cider with pumpkin foam, and they'd blend the foam into it, giving it a silky texture. Last time I went in, however, the barista just plopped the cold foam on top of the hot cider, and it curdled like cottage cheese. I had to throw the drink out. So yeah, I won't be back. I just can't chance it. read more

Hands down the best breakfast burrito in the metro. Super reasonably priced at $8. The salsa and secret sauce really bring this together and I love the peppery addition of arugula. The burrito arrives cut in half (I inhaled one half before remembering to snap a picture). Pairs well with a hot cup of coffee! read more

It was very busy on a Saturday which is a good sign! I got an iced mocha which was incredible. If it wasn't so busy I would stop in more often. Despite it being busy there was plenty of street parking that didn't require parallel parking about a block away. It's also surrounded by some fun shops, so stop here and then make a day of it! read more

Fancy food and drinks. Wish they had more food options so thus why I docked 1 star otherwise fabulous service and always good coffee.

Cold brew was delicious, spacious place. No complaints. For some reason I need 85 characters so this is just a sentence.

This is a rating specifically for the new bakery items -- almond croissant, chocolate croissant, regular croissant, etc. When this shop transitioned from Dunn Bros. to Jones, the bakery selection and quality really dropped in my esteem. I just want a consistently great chocolate croissant. FINALLY! Almost all of the bakery items are now exceptional! Hurray! Please keep this pastry supplier! read more

Honestly, I just don't get Jones Coffee's rationale for not accepting cash. Not everyone wants to use a credit card or electronic payment just to buy a cup of coffee. The cappuccino I had the other day was fine, but I'm unlikely to return just because of the no-cash policy. read more

New independent coffee shop taking over from a big chain, which is a win in general principle. Had chai latte--perfect blend of sweet and spice and much more to my preference what I've had at chain stores, which are over-sweetened enough to give me a headache. read more
