This spot has an edginess and vibe that matches the Misfit name! The interior feels like you're hanging out in your best friend's garage in the most nostalgic and positive way! Plenty of seating, including tables, couches, and a coffee bar make this a great spot to meet up or get some remote work done! Baristas are talented and friendly! Fun seasonal offerings were the reason for our visit, with Blueberry Pie and Smoked Peach lattes catching our eye! I went with the Peach option and was pleasantly surprised by the smoky and subtle peach flavor! It wasn't too sweet and still let the espresso shine, which is appreciated in this sugar-forward world. Nana cold brew is delicious!! I came in wanting to try the blueberry pie latte but the first two times I tried they were out of the syrup for it. As a backup option I was recommended to try the nana cold brew. It was perfectly sweet and has a great banana flavor which I loved. I prefer sweeter coffee drinks and this definitely delivered. My bestie bought me a BOGO coffee coupon book last year and finally made a stop at Misfits. If it wasn't for the book, I wouldn't have known about this place. I'm glad I got to experience what they have to offer. The beverages alone are fantastic, but I also had one of the best croissant/muffins out there (and it was dat old!). Stopped here twice over the course of a few days it was so good. The first stop I tried the nana cold brew. It was great. I'm a banana lover, but this was light flavor and not overpowering. I would say this is better for summer, but I had to try it - I've never seen that in a menu. My second drop I tried the brown butter sage (hot). Loved it! Their coffee is smooth and from both experiences not bitter. I tried a few swigs of my partner's spiced orange mocha - and honestly I would choose that out of the three due to the season. Every beverage was spot on though. There's plenty of space/couches to work here and I love the vibes. Will be back in the future. read more

Great coffee! Definitely in the top five of places in the city that take their black drip coffee seriously. I also really liked the small taste I had of my wife's Smoked Vanilla Preach Latte, it was perfectly subtle and tasty. On top of that we had a Cruffin ( I don't think it's made in house) and it was very tasty! The place itself was full of comfortable seating which I love in a coffee shop. My son was very interested in the huge row of troll dolls. One wall is a large garage door that was open when I visited and had some nice seating outside. The music was bumping so I'm not sure it would be the best place for a group who wanted to chat, but it was good music. I'd definitely be a regular if this wasn't so far from my home. read more

We were lucky enough to have Misfit coffee truck at work this morning. I have been to the coffee shop itself many times and was so happy when I saw they were the coffee of choice this morning. they were offering coffee, lattes, a few syrup flavorings, and a chai (which I got). It was perfect for this chilly winter morning. The staff working were so friendly and turned the orders out quick! Would highly recommend if anyone needs a coffee truck. I really wish I could have given a better rating. Was finally able to check this place out + felt let down. The positives? Great big space to hang out or work. I think their logo is genius + how they decorate the space to match the vibe. Trolls were fun! The negatives? Worker was unwelcoming.. almost like we were a bother. One of my fav coffee shop in the Twin Cities. Great coffee, fun lattes and cold brew (definitely recommend the Nana Cold Brew), and the menu here changes seasonally. The new location has better parking, outdoor patio and an overall better layout inside as you order and wait for your drinks than their old location in Uptown. Service is fairly quick, vibes are definitely more on the artsy side. Love that they kept their signature troll dolls. read more

My cousin first mentioned Misfit Coffee to me a while ago but they weren't open for a while. Me and mom decided to check it out one day and we have loved it ever since! It's located in a quiet neighborhood (looks partly industrial, partly up and coming with new apt buildings) either way it's a chill neighborhood. They have a lot of street parking. The door was hard to open the first time we went but there is a sign that says to just pull hard. They have outdoor seating right outside the door. Inside it's super cute, colorful and industrial which is fitting. They have a ton of Trolls decor. The first time we went we ordered The Strawberry Shortcake latte & Nana Cold Brew, both drinks were really good. The second time we got the Smoked Vanilla Peach latte and Nana Cold Brew but with cocoa this time. I didn't care too much for the Peach Latte it wasn't as sweet and peachy as I thought it would be, wasn't horrible though. The staff are always nice & friendly. I can't wait to go back and check out more drinks. read more

We got a latte (caramel with 2 extra espresso shots) and a nana cold brew. Both were amazing and had the best kind of little crushed cubed ice. The caramel latte was rich but not overly, and the aftertaste of the flavors together was a delight. The banana cold brew tasted like actual bananas -- delicious. I would absolutely come again. Altogether our total was about $15 for two drinks. Very comparable in price to specialty coffee chains, but with tons of special flavors and variety. When we first came in the door flew open and you need to pull it shut for it to actually close. Whoops. There's so much decor and lovely little touches that I was too distracted to pull the door shut and the owner kindly helped. I think the person who helped us was the owner and he was extremely helpful and kind. He told us all about the different drinks we were looking at and had asked about. The drinks were then handcrafted quickly and served by him. We'd totally go back and sit to enjoy the *vibes*. A bunch of free parking too! Every single tea or coffee selection on the menu has a small and well through out description of the flavor making it a great experience for both the novice or the seasoned coffee connoisseur. The baked items are always fresh and have a particularly pleasant appearance and smell. The atmosphere is always alight with great music that's perfect for waiting for your cup, but not too distracting to take you away from your work. We had Misfit Coffee coffee trailer come to our 50th anniversary party and it was outstanding! Both barista's Colby and Thomas were friendly, welcoming and had great customer service skills which the guests repeatedly mentioned. The coffee drinks were a huge hit especially since they are unique and tasty, service was quick (we had them for three hours with about 140 people), they were on time and didn't leave early. The coffee truck uses a generator which was not loud, and the trailer is at the ground level so it was easy to order and converse with the baristas. I would highly recommend the trailer for a get-together. Guests commented that it was a great idea for a party! read more

I love this place, I live a block away and they've truly ruined other iced coffee for me. As mentioned by others, their ice is pellet shaped and spectacular! The espresso is high quality, and they have a special (sweet) drinks that seem to be a hit with my friends. The barista (owner?) is super nice, and they have a great vibe in both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. They are only open Fri, Sat, & Sun, and there isn't any food aside from some prepackaged pastries and such. My favorite coffee spot in the cities. read more
