    Ube latte with honey
    Emanie M.

I can always count in Momo for a delicious latte; my favorite being a honey Ube latte. The consistency of their drinks is what brings me back--their baristas know what they're doing! I also love the variety of seating options; the perfect spot for a productive session or a leisurely hang :)

Such a cute spot with incredible food and coffee! Upon entry they've got cute winter decor built upon their worldly Asian influenced decor that makes it feel like a nice break from the cold winter roads. Meanwhile the staff greets you with a kind smile that makes you feel welcomed in. I had the Ube Latte and the mixed Momo platter. The Ube Latte is well balanced between sweet Ube flavor and coffee and cream. The mixed momo platter comes with meat filled and potato filled dumplings that come with a spicy sauce for dipping. They are perfectly plump, warm and delicious and lend themselves well to a cold day. Absolutely recommend this hidden neighborhood gem if you're in the area (or even if you're not! It's worth it!)

While out running errands, stopped by Momo coffee for a quick snack and drink. It was pretty busy but also super cute and well decorated with nostalgic and cultural elements. They had a few cute items for sale, like momo merch, stickers and more. I got the black sesame latte which was strong but good. We also ordered potato and chive momos and they were decent. I think it could have used a bit more flavor, a bit starchy tasting. But the soy sauce helps a tiny bit. Would for sure come back to check out more. I was a bit shocked that they had to put signs on some of the lower tables for people to not put their feet on them. In a cafe/food establishment that should be common sense but I definitely get it. As it was busy it was a bit loud but I really like the vibes and aesthetic of this cafe!

If you're like me and prefer your coffee on the sweeter side, but still rich in coffee taste- do yourself a favor and order the ube white mocha!! Service is always a 10/10. The vibe of the coffee shop reminds me of SE Asia. I love momo!

This place is well loved for a reason! Friendly staff, cute space and delicious drinks and goodies! Love some of the fun Asian inspired flavors like ube white chocolate and matcha. Plenty of coffee and tea options. Also love the pastries selection from Bogarts doughnuts which are always fluffy and sweet. It looks like the menu changes with some seasonal drinks too which is nice! I wasn't a fan of the momos but you might like them more than I did.

So great for the price!!! A great local spot! I picked up coffee and pastries on a Saturday morning, and thought there was a line, it moved very quickly. They had a long list of coffee and tea options. I got the black sesame and the French toast latte. The French toast latte is great if you like cinnamon flavors, and the black sesame was subtle and unique. Doughnut was delicious and 2 drinks and a baked good were like $15. It was such a good price! I also used my own cup and got a small discount. They use compostable straws (woo!). I am definitely going back here (and will also try the momo next time). Small tables with eclectic decor in the back room, couches in the cafe room, and a few outdoor seating spots. There is ample street parking on the road fronting the cafe.

Free street parking available! Lots of seating inside the cafe. We were there all day and it was never crowded to the point where people couldn't find seating. Service was fast. Two restrooms available and both were super clean and nice. Outlets throughout the seating, so plenty of people were there to do work. They also sell pottery, water bottles, mugs, stickers and cute keychains. The owners were super nice and the music was also very chill. Free water and WiFi is available. White ube mocha was a 10/10. Prices were also very affordable for speciality drinks. The glazed donut was a lil dry, but it's only $3. Tibetan art all around and cute vibes overall!!!

I stopped by to get their winter special matcha drink! I went around 11AM on a Sunday and it was packed! If you want to dine in, I recommend either coming earlier or later in the afternoon. If you are doing take out, service was pretty quick! I didn't have to wait long after ordering. The place is nice and cozy! Lots of seating available but can be hard to find seats if it's busy. I got the Hazelnut Ube Hojicha Matcha and it was delicious! It's sweet, creamy nutty and has a strong roasted flavor.

This is the best coffee shop in MSP. I said what I said. Aesthetic: 5/5: Asian elegance inviting elements from across time. No music or minimal music if any leaving room for conversation, work, peace. Service: 5/5: Every person who works here has the best, friendliest attitude and is incredibly patient with me while I take forever to decide what I want. Drinks: 5/5: the 16 Oz for here is an entire bowl. Please get it for only 50 cents more. The sweet corn latte was so aesthetic with a tiny sweet corn candy on top. Iced was lovely, ask for a little sweeter if you operate that way. The black sesame latte both times I've had it was excellent. The matcha latte iced was lovely and syrups are almost all made in-house. Food: 4.5/5: They sell Bogarts donuts and the Nutella donut was definitely like 4000 calories but worth the heart attack because it was a well done donut overflowing with Nutella, as it should be. The vegetarian momo had something starchy tasting in the filling which wasnt my favorite but good value of momos for $9. The biggest thing for me here is that the coffee is top tier and milk is always frothed perfectly, shots pulled properly, syrups made in-house. How is a cortado $2, or a premium seasonal latte $5, or a regular latte $3.5 with no additional charge for milk subs? This is a real community coffee shop. It's here for us and I am so grateful.

We stopped into Momo Cafe and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming, and you can tell it is a local favorite since there was a line out the door when we arrived. Thankfully, it moved quickly and gave us time to browse the menu, which has a lot of tempting options. We tried the iced chai latte and the iced matcha latte. They were not our personal favorites, as both leaned a little on the watery side and the chai had a BOLD spice profile. We tend to order chai and matcha lattes wherever we go, so this may just come down to personal preference. The lavender iced donuts were magical. Light, airy, perfectly sweet, and beautifully flavored. Possibly the best donut I have had anywhere. That alone made the visit worth it. With so many more items on the menu to explore, and with the cafe being close by, we will definitely be back. Parking is on a residential street but was not too hard to find.

Wow. This place is world onto itself. Step in and you feel transported. Perhaps not to Tibet ( though I've never been) but the vibe is incredible. There are so many small touches to this place that make it a great spot to spend an hour with a warm drink. The shop itself is large and has a sorts of different seating from couches you work tables. So something for everyone. The drip coffee is Peace Coffee so not the best coffee beans around so I'm kind of breaking my rule on giving this place 5 stars but everything else here is just awesome. I should say while I didn't get the matcha, the large comes in the is bowl like cup and just looks beautiful. So if you like matcha give that a try!

Yum!! This is one of my new favorite coffeeshops. I got lots of goodies: mixed momo dumplings, iced ube latte, and the smoked salmon sandwich. All were so good. This place is great for working, lots of outlets and good food when you get hungry. They have street parking but be careful of signage since the city can be strict.

Apple Fritter and small Salted Carmel Latte.

Quite the quaint little coffee shop located right on Central Ave. They have a great selection of unique coffees and flavors. They also have a good amount of Bogart's Donut Co. donuts, Mogi Bagels and pastries from Rustica. The dining room is nice, plenty of tables, both large and small spread around, and a few couches and comfy chairs as well. The service was excellent, the coffees were perfectly made. We will be back here again for sure!

Good lighting and not too loud. They have all of the usual coffee options as well as several of their own concoctions. They have pastries as well as more hearty options like breakfast burritos, although when we went they were out of burritos, probably because we were there so late. They have several gluten free items, and vegan items. It looks like everything that can be sourced locally is local, and they have the providers listed on the menu. They are obviously very socially and environmentally conscious. The servers were very friendly. I had a cold press with cream which was excellent, exactly what I hoped it would be, good coffee flavor. Next time I would probably ask for less cream, but it is real cream. I also had the morning bun which was very good. It was like a cinnamon roll that was also rolled in cinnamon and sugar on the outside. My partner had a red eye which was dark roast and espresso with cream. He liked it very much. He also had a ham and cheese croissant and an apple fritter, both of which were very good. Parking is street parking which wasn't a problem when we were there but may be a problem at busier times. The interior is handicapped friendly, but again parking could be an issue. We loved it and will definitely be back.

There was only one person ahead of me, which gave me just enough time to peruse the menu on the wall, figure out where the WiFi password was listed, and break down my will enough to order that gorgeous-looking apple fritter at the top of the bakery shelf. The barista quickly assembled my large maple latte in an orange-yellow mug with that apple fritter that was calling my name, plus a large breakfast burrito. The burrito was more like an enclosed panini with sides of salsa and sour cream. While I ate 2/3rds of it, I cannot say that I enjoyed it all that much, especially for the $13 price. On the other hand, the maple latte and apple fritter were divine, if a little over-priced (although, what isn't, nowadays?). The power and Internet for the neighborhood just went out in the middle of this review, so I'm finishing through my phone hot-spot and will head on my way!
