WA has always been one of mine and Michaela's favorites. So sad to hear they're closing at the end of the year! Thanks for the memories and the tasty drinks!

Ube latte and iced vanilla latte

Stopped by on our biking around town. Minus a star for not having a bike park/spot and ran out of matcha in the early a.m. other than that, this is a good place to havve a morning coffee/tea break on the weekend. Had ube latte, cold vanilla latte pair with bogarts donuts and Marc heu's chocolate pistachio croissant (available on the weekends only).

Stopped into Wesley Andrews on our way to art in bloom at MIA and loved our drinks! I got a mocha and it was delicious. The drink was on the smaller side but it packed a punch. The space itself was super cute and nicely decorated with some dedicated seating space to sit and talk or work.

Free and fully available street parking in front? Yes please. Rarely have I ever been to a coffee shop where the staff actually adjusted the music style, etc. based on the customers in the shop. Initially, there were folks conversing and then it drilled down to the book readers and studiers. Music was adjusted accordingly, 5 stars alone for that. Staff was amazing and attentive. I felt spoiled rotten with the ube latte ($6 alone $7 with espresso in it) and I wanted a 2nd cup, but had to exhibit self control on the calories and the cash. Didn't think I'd ever call cracks in the wall and cacti charming but they were. Will be back very soon.

Shown below is a $6 cup of coffee, a ridiculous price, on which I chose to plop down a $3 tip. Why? Am I independently wealthy? Nope. It's simply that Wesley Andrew's pour over coffee is THE BEST. For my $9, I have purchased the top of the market. If coffee from an American multinational chain of coffeehouses goes for, say, $3, I would argue this Wesley Andrew's brew is three times as good. Took about 4 minutes to serve me, as the barista slowly drizzled 205 degree water over perfectly roasted beans from China. So tasty it would be a bargain at twice the price, which I would never say about the multinational's attempt at coffee. At the risk of hyperbole, I would ask for this when offered my last meal. Drink it and ease into eternal rest. If you enjoy good coffee and don't mind paying the price, you need to be here.

I stopped in to grab a coffee and try out this place. It was my first time in and the barista was very nice and everything was tidy and clean. I took a look at the featured drinks and nothing particularly caught my eye so I decided to opt for my go-to: an iced vanilla latte. Unfortunately I really didn't enjoy the coffee at all. I'm not sure if it was a bad espresso shot or what was wrong, but it didn't taste anything like a good coffee. I'm not sure I'd recommend spending $8 with tip on this. I did finish the drink but I considered throwing it out because of the poor taste. The space was lovely and there was lots of nearby free street parking.

This is a very hygge style cafe with the place really modern, simple and calm. Parking is in the streets near Eat Street area. I ordered their ube latte which was interesting on their menu. If you expect it to be a sweet Starbucks like treat, this latte has only slight sweetness and a more natural nutty and root tasting flavor. It also has a tinge of bitterness as after taste. It definitely is an acquired tasting latte. I appreciate the beautiful latte art. I also noticed that they actually sell and serve coffee roasted from China! That is unusual because tea is served there but to find coffee beans roasted up in the hills of China is pretty unique. So when I was there, the co-owner came in to meet one of his vendor and I got to hear the whole scoop about their journey as a small business owner. They specialize in tea as well in this cafe. I hear true passion in his voice for the world to experience his roasting and presentation of both coffee and tea in MN. He stumbled upon the coffee beans when his initial trips to China was to shop for tea leaves. I tried the drip coffee as I was super curious. It was very nice and clean tasting with a strong dark chocolate aftertaste. Last but not least, check in here with your Yelp app and get 20% off your drink! Love it!!

Is this British? It feels very British in here. The aesthetic, the vibe, it's all very London. "Let's have a cuppa at Wesley, dear!" I had an ube latte, which was decent and not too sweet. My lady got a matcha latte that she said wasn't hot enough. The space feels minimalist and clean. The woman at the counter seemed sleepy, although not British.

First time here! Parking was free street parking. I tried the cider and it was very yummy. There is not a ton of seating options to do work/homework. But there are a few options. They also do not have free WiFi. There are also not many outlets and the space was just not very clean in general.

#21 in my TWIN CITIES COFFEE SHOP SERIES Come here for aesthetic, great quality drinks and a good place to get work done! I love the ambiance of this place! Great playlists, not too loud and not too quiet, great lighting, wonderful service, and cute vibes. I got the imfamous Matcha Thai Tea Latte ($6.75) which was delicious! Traditional thai tea that was not super sweetened which really brought of the tea and spiced flavor. Plus the matcha was just as high quality. The drink did taste a bit watered down though. They also have a good selection of traditional coffee drinks (homemade cold brew, etc.) and a lot of high quality tea to choose from! They recently just increased their prices in order to coincide with the rising cost of living which is great for them and their employees! However, paying $7.50 in total for an iced matcha or my friend paying $8.50 in total for an iced vanilla latte is pretty steep.

I don't know how I've lived in Minneapolis so long without finding Wesley Andrews. This place has all the components we love about a coffeeshop, and I'm sure I was vibing even more since it was a rainy spring morning! The location itself doesn't have a ton of nearby parking, so prepare to walk a bit, but it's worth it. You're welcomed into the space with tons of plants, an open concept, and exposed brick (my personal favorite aesthetic). Service was only alright in my opinion...the barista was fairly slow and seemed like he was more interested in other coworkers sitting at the bar than making my drink. I ordered the Earl Sweatshirt latte, a seasonal special. The flavors were VERY subtle, and the drink itself felt more like a really yummy, sweet latte than anything with further identity such as the promised Earl Gray or Pistachio. When I come back, I'll probably adventure into their Matcha selection. Overall, a really solid spot to work remotely or catch-up with a friend. Small improvements would warrant a 5 star review in the future, as all the components are there!

Perfect atmosphere to enjoy a decadent coffee or catch up with a friend. They also have work space to do a little work if that's what you need to do. The drinks are absolutely gorgeous! The service was friendly and welcoming.

I'm a simple person, so it should never be a surprise when I opt out of a "foo foo" coffee drink and go for a latte. I also consider myself a coffee connoisseur of sorts, so I like that without added sweetness and flavoring, a latte allows me to appreciate the quality of the coffee. The latte I had at Wesley Andrews was lovely. I felt at complete peace when sipping on the high quality coffee drink while catching up with a friend. The space is modern, without feeling too sterile-- a balance that can be hard to find in a lot of these establishments. The service was warm and friendly as well, which only added to how much I enjoyed my time in the coffee shop.

I know firsthand that coffee is king in Panama, so I figured anything inspired by their incredible coffee culture had to be worth trying. I visited Curioso on an early Sunday morning and immediately found it special. Not just for its coffee, but for the ambiance, service, and overall vibe. Curioso is a large, welcoming space that's part coffee bar, part brewery. I was immediately impressed by the variety of entertainment for all ages: arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, a skee-ball machine, board games, and even claw machines. Seating options are abundant, from cozy couches to tables and high-tops. There's a toddler play area and a library filled with books for all ages. The space feels family-friendly and is warm, welcoming community gathering space for all. I noticed flyers for free community events Curioso hosts, like Sunday Morning Yoga and Tuesday Trivia nights. The service was equally warm! The barista, although managing a busy Sunday morning solo, took her time to explain coffee options, highlight weekly specials with her own recommendations, and describe the pastries in partnership with Fruit & Grain and Bagels from St. Paul Bagelry. Oat milk is the standard for all their drinks! (Which I loved) We tried two speciality lattes: the "Butter Luck Next Year" (iced) and the "Blue Ribbon Peach Pie" (hot). Both were exceptional! Strong, robust, and delicious. Alongside, we also enjoyed an "Everything" handpie and a "Blueberry Lemon Curd" pop tart. Both pastries were out of this world delicious! I loooooved this pairing. I'm a sucker for savory, so the "Everything" handpie reigned supreme for me. Although I don't have a fur-baby (yet), I would like to include that Curioso is fur-friendly. I'm looking forward to returning several more times!

I ordered one of their seasonal specials--the banana cream pie latte. It was very good. The ambiance was OK. Smaller seating area and located in a strip mall. Although my drink was good it wasn't necessarily something to write home about. I might come here again if in the area and in need of a coffee, but probably not a place I will necessarily seek out.

Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.
