Stopped by here for a coffee after a run and this place just really isn't for me. What I do love about this spot is the ambiance and space. Seems like a great spot to study or work for the day with different seating options like tables, the coffee bar, window seats. Also, the barista was super quick and kind, especially when they were the only one behind the bar and taking orders. If I ever come back, I would probably opt for a pastry since it looked delicious. I really disliked my coffee to the point of trying to drink at least half of it before just throwing it away. My friend also tried it and thought it tasted rancid. When I went up to order I ordered a vanilla cold brew. The barista corrected me and said their vanilla was called Sweet Gallium, and it was their 'take' on vanilla. I said fine since I assumed it would still taste similar. The barista asked if I wanted dairy or oat for milk - I asked if there was almond and they just repeated what they said which was just a bit odd. I can't to oat so I opted for dairy - I probably should've asked what that meant because it ended up being whole milk. When I paid this iced coffee was over $7, which is outrageous. I get cold brews with flavors and milk alternatives in North Loop funky shops for less. The barista made the drink quickly, and was super passionate about it - they explained how Sweet Gallium is a type of flower and it adds a beautiful flavor to the coffee. They also let me say 'when' for how much milk I wanted which was nice since I didn't want a lot of whole milk in there. The Sweet Gallium tastes nothing like vanilla and the coffee was extremely acidic. The mix of the two made it taste like it was spoiled. I love a rich roast but this just wasn't for me. Someone else's review said that their coffee was a bit sour and I definitely agree. I would come back and maybe try a matcha, but the price has me turned off overall.

I had been to the SK Coffee in St Paul and also really liked the vibes of this location! I loved the plants and the modern vibe. The baristas were very friendly and you could tell they were very passionate about their work and the aromas and flavors in the drinks. I had an iced matcha and added honey to it. Love that their syrups are all housemade there. There were also some good looking pastry options as well. The WiFi was strong for working on my laptop and I didn't have to wait too long to get a table. Free street parking out front!

I've been to the St. Paul location and this one is equally as cute! Lots of plants and natural light. The barista was so friendly and knew everyone coming in. It seems like a great neighborhood meetup spot with a few tables and bar seating area. It also had strong wifi for working. We went on a Friday mid morning and snagged a table to fit 3 people. It was pretty consistently busy throughout the day. The prices are a little crazy, although a lot of coffee shops are getting to be over $7 for a small latte. I tried the specialty iced vanilla latte and it was good! They also had a couple of pastry options. There's street parking out front. Worth a try for the welcoming vibes!

I drive past this place all the time and when I finally stopped in I was so happy I did. Parking is located on the street or across the street. The space itself is very small and fills up fast. However the hospitality is second to none. I really enjoyed my matcha latte and I can't wait to stop in and try the pastries next time!

Not my favorite. Staff was super friendly but it was a little more expensive than other places and not as many milk options.

Nice atmosphere (for the size). Baked goods are fresh and delicious. The barista was very friendly and the pore over was great! Good to step away from the chains.

Caffetto is the quintessential Minneapolis coffee shop--they've got tasty, reasonably priced drinks…read more(including a robust selection of teas both hot and iced), good hours, and a real fun punk cafe vibe (lots of fun graffiti and vintage pinball machines). I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I jetted from work early to try this coffee shop because I needed a change of scenery and…read more.. well... it's Tuesday. :) I was surprised to find that the cafe was packed at 2:30 in the afternoon, but got lucky enough to snag an intimate table in the corner, perfect for reading a book in peace! I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

I've been around the area a lot recently but never seen this coffee shop until I saw it on TikTok…read more I got an iced vanilla latte and an iced chai, both were very flavorful. The atmosphere of the shop makes you want to chill out for a while. The staff were very friendly and curates the music with vinyls. In the front the garage door was open. The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

I had a hard time selecting a place to sit since I wanted to sit in many of the places. The staff was amazing! I ordered a cortado for here, and it was perfect and gorgeous. I ended up spilling it all over the floor (totally my fault). I went up to order a new one (planning to pay because again..my fault!) and the staff refused to let me pay and even brought me my new drink to the table I was at. Talk about customer service! It was my fault I spilled it and they would not let me help clean it up or buy a new one. Consider me a fan of this place!

The interior design is stunning and the fireplace adds a cozy touch. It's always packed no matter the time of day, which shows how popular it is. Unfortunately, the coffee has been consistently disappointing for me. For such a great space, the drinks just don't match the atmosphere. Service has also been a letdown. It feels rushed and transactional, and the staff does not come across as very friendly or welcoming, which takes away from the experience. They do have a nice selection of baked goods, including Cardigan Donuts, which is a plus. Parking is typical for the North Loop. It can be a bit difficult to find right nearby, but there are plenty of options if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Overall, it's a gorgeous space and a great place to meet up or sit for a bit, but the coffee quality and service are what hold this location back for me which is sad because I love other FRGMT locations.

Was headed to the in-laws in the north metro, and needed a caffeine surge! Saw the name of this…read morespot and knew I had to stop! Parking available in the shared business lot out front, but it was VERY busy on this Sunday afternoon! The interior of this spot is one for the senses: colorful walls, random knick knacks, plants, and plenty of coffee-sipping patrons. While it was a LOT of stimulation, I loved every bit of it. I was so happy to see so much support for this local spot! The servers were so friendly and helpful during my order and pick up process! Incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly. I HAD to go with the Go Bananas option on my iced latte, their proprietary blend of banana, vanilla, and hazelnut that leaves you with the most beautiful flavor! I also appreciated that they have a layered iced latte option...with the shot on top! This spot definitely is one of my favorite hidden gems from the last few years, and might crack into the top five coffee spots in the Cities for me! A MUST VISIT!
