I came here on a random Thursday late morning and wow was this spot packed. Not a seat available. Luckily someone left just as we needed a spot. I know I've been here several years ago but can't for the life of me remember what it was like then though I know it's been greatly improved. Truth be told I didn't try the black coffee which is the key to a good coffee shop. But I saw they served Backstory beans so I didn't need too as they are one of my top roasters in the city. Instead I tried the pumpkin cream cold brew. I've been loving all the places doing things like this. Not as sweet as the lattes but with a nice hit of flavor. I really enjoyed it. Though noticed a lot of the good stuff ended up at the bottom pretty quickly. I'll definitely be coming here more now that I know they serve Backstory and sell their beans. I just don't know if I'd come to hang out with the lack of comfortable seating. For anyone wanting to get work done though as long as a seats available to Quixotic will work great!

I walked in here because 1) I really needed coffee after landing super early into MSP and 2) I was intrigued by their speciality coffees. I eventually decided on Marco Polo which is a cold brew with caramel & vanilla. It was the perfect amount of sweetness that I like. I knew that I would like it based on the description, but I loved it upon my first sip. It really satisfied the early morning coffee craving that I had. It was a nice & refreshing drink for the hot day that was ahead of me.

Finally got to check out Quixotic! It's one of the places on my coffee compass list. I like the general aesthetic of this coffee shop. Various seating options, especially liked the booths. They also have a private meeting room which is nice. They also have some tables outside. I checked out some of the drinks on the specials menu. I got the matcha-mallow & s'mocha. Both drinks were really good. I'd definitely stop by again if I was in the area.

Looked for a coffee shop close to the airport and found this gem less than 8 minutes from the car rental lot! Such a cute coffee shop - with lots of booths (if you are looking for a coffee shop to work from, this is a great option) and easy street parking. Super helpful and friendly staff and great fancy coffee options including nitro cold brew and pour over coffee. I had their matcha which was excellent - came either sweetened or unsweetened.

We were looking for a coffee place that had some light breakfast options Stumbled upon Quixotic and glad we did. The space is really cute and cozy and the coffee and food were fantastic. They have seasonal specials, some hot options for food, and a variety of pastries. We opted for a pesto wrap and a pastry with our coffees. We were prompted to start a rewards account as well, which actually seemed like a good deal since this visit got us about 90% to a reward already. Great stop in the Highland area!

As soon as I landed in the twin cities I pulled out the yelp app to find the best coffee. Quixotic was highly rated. I stopped by to grab breakfast and a coffee. I opted for the s'mocha and the romesco egg & cheese. The coffee was a nice take on a mocha, albeit a bit too sweet for me. The sandwich was nice and flavorful. Seating can be a bit tough when the space is busy.

Their lattes are to die for! So creamy, sweet, and perfect on a cold day. This location is one of my favorite places to work in St. Paul.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and am so happy I finally did! drinks: I got their matcha (iced) with caramel and oat milk and I'm obsessed. I forgot to ask if they make their oat milk or what brand their using because it was so good. I'm curious to try their other in house syrups to taste the difference. My friend got a vanilla matcha with whole milk and that was tasty too! service/ etc.: I LOVE a booth when I'm studying or working, so it's an automatic fav for me and there's SO many and a lot of other seating. they have 1 bathroom and it's nice and clean. I think this place will be so cute to come to in the winter. very cozy, homey, chill by the fire vibes. the drinks come out quick.

I think of all the cafes in Minnesota to get work done/ work on group projects/ or conduct any other kind of meetings this cafe had a great space! Plenty of booth seating, table seating, and outlets (quite comfortable and easy to lock in!). Lovely 10/10 kombucha which they have revolving flavors for, and I would say regular priced. Staff was friendly and the cafe/bathroom were quite clean. Definitely a place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood :)

Such a pleasant surprise! First off the staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. They source all of their food and products locally which I LOVE! They have kombucha from a local company on tap and gave free samples so that we could find one we liked before purchasing (lemon berry was so good)! We also got a wrap which was delicious and fresh! Decaf latte and they said the syrup is made in house and it was very good. I love that they have a room in the back you can reserve for $10/hr (and they give that back in gift card to purchase products when you are there). I will be doing this!! Plenty of seating (booths, tables, bar seating), cozy inviting atmosphere. I look forward to going back!

Best part of this coffee shop is the warm interior. What a cozy vibe! There is a bar you can sit at; booths and table or a large space for a group. Cake mid-afternoon so there wasn't much for food left. Will have to come early next time. Match was top notch. Enjoyed the Marko Polo, maybe a bit too much salt but still tasty. Staff was patient and kind, very little wait. Very enjoyable. Will be back.

Love this coffee shop! Very nice light comes in the mornings. Great place to get some work done or meet with friends! Coffee is great! They also have good smoothie bowls. The service is quick and can get really busy/ packed. If you want to get a table come around 10 am

Quixotic is a gem and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to try it! SO glad I finally stopped in to try it over the weekend and yes it lived up to the hype. I had a BOGO coupon, so I went with the marko polo and white lightening, both were iced, and I thought very tasty. Walking to my vehicle in the first cold of the season, I found myself wishing I would have opted for the hot Notorious FIG drink, so I'll be back very soon to try that. Although, I planned to just get the coffees, my eyes spotted the molasses ginger cookie and that was seriously a standout cookie for me. Perfect balance of molasses and spice. The gal at the register was very nice and chatty which I always appreciate and makes for a great experience. There wasn't many spots to sit as the place was hoping, but there are booths and bar stools. Just a cute cozy place. Parking is street parking, but I thought it was a breeze... lots of areas to find a spot. Can't wait to return so soon!

We came around 1pm on a weekday and there was a bit of a wait as it was only one person making drinks and serving customers. They have an extensive menu with so many specialty drinks. It was a bit of decision fatigue before finally landing on our order. I tried the bananarama chai and my friend had their lychee matcha. The matcha almost tasted completely fruity with no actual matcha taste, to the point where it came off more like a smoothie or juice than a caffeinated drink. My chai wasn't bad, but I didn't get much of the banana flavor. The space itself has a few tables and there is free WiFi as well. They always announce new seasonal drinks so I may come back if anything catches my eye.

I do like the fact that they will use black or green tea with any of their drinks. I'm not a green tea fan, so that's an important option for me. I got a black fruit tea with pineapple and passion fruit with strawberry popping bobas. The tea had a perfect blend of flavors and the boba was cooked just right. We also got a cookies and cream smoothie with tapioca. My son said it was the best one he's had! He also got a banh mi. He said it was good, but not great. The pork could have been more flavorful and it needed more cilantro. Overall, I recommend this place! Give them a try!

The aesthetic is not the typical cutsie boba shop vibe. It is elevated, sort of Tuscan garden with comfortable wicker furniture, gorgeous and ample seating, outlets along the wall and plants everywhere. I stumbled upon this place while praying and hoping for a quiet place to finish my workday. I could not have been more fortunate as the owner was taking a middday music break, allowing complete peace as I worked and sipped on my tea. Now I have absurdly high standards when it comes to see. The medium versus large is a mere $0.50~ difference so go for the large. I forgot to request light ice, but guess what!?!? The ice was light and the tea and boba heavy. The perfect proportion and bang for my buck. Okinawa bubble tea had chocolate-y notes and was excellent. Without ordering any cheese foam, my milk tea was rich and creamy. And did I mention they have a ginormous me-sized replica of my bubble tea!?!? It's just chef's kiss all around.

They have a huge variety of beans, and they will grind them for you if you like. The shop is small, and it has that awesome coffee aroma inside and out, but their coffee is plenty expensive. Also, be warned that if you're the type of person who likes to enjoy their coffee without politics, you might be somewhat put off by the Liberal-forward vibe of this shop, what with some of the coffees being named after Liberal politicians, ie "Obama Blend" or as others have mentioned here a coffee named after Bernie Sanders. The staff at the shop were always polite enough to me, and I never experienced name calling as another reviewer did, but then I don't wear my politics on my sleeve or confront others about theirs. After all, I only went there to buy coffee, not change the world or anyone's philosophical, political, or religious views. Recently, (January 2026), I drove the 15 some-odd miles to their shop only to find they had closed that day to attend protests in a "No Work, No School, No Shopping" strike due to law enforcement activity in the cities. I enjoy supporting local small businesses, but the "Politics First, Customer Last" business model doesn't work for me. Besides, I feel like they must be doing pretty well financially if they can just close up shop unannounced without so much as a notification on their website or phone answering message to warn customers who might actually be driving a fair distance, burning real gasoline which costs real money, to buy their stuff. I liked their coffee, but it just isn't worth the expense or inconvenience to me anymore, so I go elsewhere.
