This place gives San Diego ice cream shop by the beach. Especially with the kind of music they are playing right now. Very upbeat and mellow vibes. Ice cream here is very rich and creamy. I highly stopping in and two have two non dairy flavors

    Love the mini cones!

Omg I loved this cute little ice cream shop! The girl working the counter was so sweet and helpful! I was super excited to try an ice cream flight since I am super indecisive. It was a beautiful evening so we took our ice cream outside to eat on the sidewalk tables and chairs. The neighborhood was bustling but in a great way! Prices were reasonable and they serve Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream and have coffee available too! Nice menu selection.

My son and I stopped here for a special treat and he wanted to try the Purple Rain. Unfortunately, their CO2 machine was out and they could not make the grape soda for it so they offered us a shake instead, and he's loving every bit of his superman shake! It was nice they didn't charge us extra, and the staff was very pleasant!

I love cold front! They serve Chocolate shop ice cream, so it is not housemade, but I am a huge fan of chocolate shop. My favorite thing though, is the ice cream flight with the cute mini cones. It's the perfect amount of ice cream and cone to ice cream ratio for me!

Lots of ice cream selection! I usually keep it simple by ordering a mint chip cone, but I appreciate how many choices there are. It's a really cute little ice cream shop with friendly staff. There isn't a ton of seating, but it's enough for the space. Street parking is okay, I usually only have to walk a block or so.

Great location, open year-round, multi-functional serving coffee and ice cream, lovely service, unique - the list goes on. Sure, Saint Paul has an array of ice cream shops, but this one is special in the additional coffee component. My personal favorite is the bootstrap shake which comes with a shot of espresso blended in with a whip cream and cherry. There's a super cute bar to enjoy your dish, cone, shake, malt, sundae, coffee, etc. as well as a few smaller tables. Come try!

Dessert: Cake Batter Ice Cream After dinner I popped into @coldfrontmsp for a refreshing dessert. This little shop is nestled in the St. Paul area between a few good business. Small in size but seems to pack an explosive bite. I opted for the for the cake batter and to my surprise it wasn't super sweet. It was just enough to balance for ice cream. My only suggestion would be to not add so much cake batter pieces. Overall 9/10 and the young men working the shop are super nice. #TheTravoodieLife #agirlandfood #foodie #foodielife #goodeats #travelfood #foodblogger #prayeattravel #worldfoodie #blackfoods #travoodie #blackfoodie #travelingfoodie #blackgirlswhoblog #travoodieeats ** Like, Share, & Follow Me @thetravoodie on IG, FB & TikTok DM or Email for Collab

Great little ice cream shop with both traditional and more creative flavors. High quality with creamy texture and rich flavors. And since I can never decide, I love the flight that is also served on the most adorable mini ice cream cones.

First time here. Saw an ad on Instagram for the summer ice cream tour through ExploreMN for their MN Scoop punch card. It was a perfect opportunity and night for ice cream per the requests of my daughters. Looked up the info on Explore MN website and found a few in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area ice cream shops that are participating. Didn't see any Minneapolis location near us so we ventured across the river to Cold Front in St. Paul. This was an easy drive from our house. Took 14 minutes so not too bad. They have on street parking. St. Paul's Mayor has recently lifted the mask mandate and it was awesome to see people still wearing masks inside even though there was no sign about masks being required. I didn't realized the shop was so close to The Nook! I've always wanted to try it out so will have to go to the Nook next time we are in the area. I also didn't realized that it's across from Cretin-Durham Hall high school. Prices are reasonable with the portions given. The ice cream texture is like a cross between MN Nice and Izzy's put together. It's creamy and smooth. I love the real peach chunks in my ice cream. The superman flavor is so different. I can't quite put my tongue on it to describe the taste. Overall, staff was friendly and big enough space for social distancing and I got my first punch out of six for the MN Scoop challenge. As we were leaving, I noticed their menu had a cone flight! There are four flavors in the flight for $5.25 serve in a cone and I wonder if it could be serve in a cup instead for those doing Keto or can't have too much carbs. They have a couple benches outside that you could sit to eat your cold treat and enjoy the beautiful weather or stay cool inside with AC. They have about a dozen tables inside for dining in.

This is a small coffee shop almost to the downtown area. There is neighborhood parking all around(free) just make sure you are reading the signs correctly. The service... i asked for my coffee iced and to have oat milk. Neither of those requests were fulfilled. Now, I do like hot coffee, so I didn't complain and I will say the coffee was delicious. The temp was perfect for drinking right away. I am lactose intolerant, so I didn't realize I didn't get my oat milk until after I left if you catch my drift haha. The person taking my order seemed frazzled and wasn't very friendly. I had also ordered another baked goods but I guess she didn't hear because upon checking my receipt, it wasn't listed. It wasn't overly busy, but may be she was new? Not sure, but it did leave a bit of a bad taste for this place. The scone was very tasty and I would recommend getting it warmed up. I would give this place a try again, but it's not a place I plan to visit again soon.

I have great confidence in the knowledge and abilities of the current staff. Their espresso has a unique flavor that I love. They also have special monthly drinks that are fun to try if you get tired of ordering the same thing and need a little inspiration. Their bakery items are always fresh and delicious. I'm fairly positive everything is baked from scratch in-house. One of my favorites is their scones, which come with little containers of lemon curd, raspberry jam, and Devonshire cream for spreading. Their monster cookies are incredible. They also have Big "Mini" Donuts, which are downright sinful in the amount of pleasure they create in one's mouth. Apart from their great service, I was absolutely delighted by the fact that they have both recycling and compost receptacles available to customers. I believe their to-go cups, utensils, and cup sleeves are compostable, and their cup-lids recyclable. These things matter to me, and I'm glad it matters to them too! They keep dog treats on hand for customers who come with their pooches, and they keep a water dish outside during the warmer months. I love that! Oh, and they offer online ordering-ahead!
