I haven't been here in a long time! I got my old favorite which was the cereal killer and was just as tasty as it use to be. We got the flight of 4 so got to try different flavors as well. I do think it's a good staple but there's also been many many more ice cream places that have opened up with very unique and cool flavors as well. It's also a bit pricey so I would be back for my favs but not sure if it'll still be my go to.
Milkjam Creamery is a must-visit! The ice cream is incredibly creamy, the flavors are unique, and the quality really stands out. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and definitely worth the stop. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors!
Amazing:) this was exactly what I needed post-Pride festivities! I got the yoho chocolate and Ridin dirty! They both had plenty of peanut butter and chocolate, which I needed! It was decadent without being too heavy, and the perfect dosage of both peanut butter and chocolate. The yoho chocolate also had puppy chow.... Which is one of my weaknesses. I can never say no to it! Please stop in and take it stroll, milkman is dying for you to stop in! The workers were kind and provided samples as needed, and it was a quick and efficient line! The seating is simple and to the point, and they have world street kitchen right next door!
Milkjam pairs creative flavors with amazing value! We tried the Liquid Cool (Strawberry kiwi sorbet) and Thai tea (my favorite!) and left completely satisfied! Their small space fills up pretty quickly, especially on a summer night, but it never feels crowded since people are always flowing in and out! They also have some outdoor seating (and great eats) next door at World Street Kitchen. Definitely getting added to my Minneapolis faves rotation!
A 10/10. My personal favorite is the strawberry sorbet. It's so refreshing and I can tell it's made of real fruits. I initially didn't enjoy Thai tea, but it gradually grew on me. Banana pudding is also really yummy, and they added actual banana in there. The hard knock life tasted like every other dark chocolate ice cream and I felt a massive sugar rush just after a few spoons. Overall, the price is good for a flight of 4. Fast paced shop with decent number of seatings! I will definitely come back.
Flavors are good, lots of outside seating! The strawberry kiwi sorbet is very similar to the outshine strawberry bars!! Super delicious!!
This was an amazing ice cream place. Seems there aren't many ice cream parlors in Minneapolis probably because it's too cold for ice cream most of the year. There was a line out the door. The store was clean with pop music playing. The service was friendly and efficient. There were so many creative flavors. I was thirsty so I opted for the double chocolate fudge shake. Truly this was one of the best chocolate shakes I've ever had. My family had different assorted flavors but they dug into them before I could take pics.
Wow... what a plethora of unique flavors! I stopped by here after ordering food next door at World Street Kitchen and I had to try their ice cream (dessert before dinner)! In addition to ice cream scoops, they have sundaes and shakes, and different toppings and sauces if you want to add on. They even have this thing called a Jam Bun (ice cream in between a donut). And if you're celebrating something, you can buy an ice cream cake too! I liked that their menu board is conscious of dietary restrictions and will note what is vegan, has nuts, gluten free, and even if it contains alcohol (what?!?). Picked up Single Split ($8.50) and got the Kunafa and Thai Tea flavors. Both were amazing! They currently have candy bar flavors - but spelled different probably for copyright purposes? (Snyckers, Twix, Hearth Bar, Rease's Peanut Butter Cup)
Went here on a weekday night and it was just okay. They only had one person working so the line moved relatively slow. I had the C.R.E.A.M ice cream and was very disappointed. It just tasted like a super boring vanilla ice cream.

My cousin took me here for the first time. I've always wanted to try it and I must say I was impressed by the options and unique seasonal flavors.
I came here with my daughter when they first opened, since we had dinner down the street we decided to walk couple of blocks for dessert. This ice cream Cafe is unique, they have my favorite flavor- thai tea. They do have a rotating menu. Cafe is not too big, maybe 5 tables and chairs but they share the building with a restaurant. We got in line, checked out the menu, and ordered once we got to the front. This was one of the first location to offer donuts ice-cream sandwich.
Milkjam Creamery is a small but inviting ice cream shop right next to World Street Kitchen. From the moment we walked in, the staff was immediately very welcoming and kind. There was one group ahead of us, but that gave us time to look through the list of unique flavors they had to offer. Most of the flavors had goofy names that added an element of fun to the experience that I appreciated. With only one employee working at the time, we waited a couple of minutes before being helped, but it was very reasonably quick. Given the fact that a lot of the flavors were unique, we wanted to try a lot of them, especially because it was our first time. Each month, there are a few rotating flavors. This month featured a Valentine's chocolate lineup. I ended up trying five flavors and felt too guilty to try more. I honestly was not a fan of most of the flavors I tried. I expected to enjoy the PB vs Everybody (a peanut butter banana ice cream with oreo chunks), but the banana really threw me off. The Tru Luv (milk chocolate truffle with chocolate almond crunch, caramel chocolate fudge) also had a "weird" kind of chocolate flavor that I didn't really enjoy. In retrospect, I'm not really sure how to describe it. I ended up choosing the Lemon Drizzle Cake and Ridin' Duuurty (oreo milk with oreo chunks and salted peanut butter). The Lemon Drizzle Cake had a very pleasant textural contrast, and the lemon flavor was not too strong. It was just enough to come through without being bitter. As for the Ridin' Duuurty, I was actually very hesitant to pull the trigger on this flavor. Typically, cookies 'n cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, and I also tend to really like peanut butter-flavored sweets, so this seemed like it would be a no-brainer. But when I sampled it, the ice cream base tasted weird. It had "oreo milk", which I wasn't sure about, but definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting. I ended up going for this flavor just because I was pretty sure I would still enjoy the flavor of two components I typically love in my desserts. I was surprised to see I actually enjoyed it slightly more after the fact. The peanut butter comes as a little cube that I didn't really get in my sample bite, which definitely helped. As for the ice cream itself, it had a very nice consistency. The ice cream wasn't overly creamy, yet it was still very rich and smooth. Although Milkjam has a lot of unique flavors, all of them are on the sweeter side. Even the default vanilla flavors are "sweet cream" and have "sweetened condensed milks". Because of this, I don't think Milkjam would be everyone's cup of tea, but they have so many interesting flavors that are at least worth giving a shot. Scoops are on the pricier side, with single scoops starting at 6.50, jumping to 8.50 for a single split scoop, and 11.50 for a double. If I were to come back, I probably wouldn't get anything more than a single. Scoop sizes aren't very generous, and an additional two dollars for the split scoop definitely didn't feel worth it. Milkjam wouldn't be my first choice, but every once in a while, I would be happy to come back to try out their rotating flavors and give others a shot.

Sample sizes were generous and I had a hard time choosing a flavor since they had so many good ones, but I landed on the Hard Knock Life 2.0, which has dark chocolate, fudge, whoppers, and brownies. The two people working were nice and kept the line moving quickly. Tables are close together and the place can get packed - just something to note! Metered/street parking in the area. read more
Got the flight of 4 and flavors were delicious as always. From left to right, got the hard knock life 2.0, Thai tea, tin roof, and brown butter pecan. The tin roof was my favorite! I tried their January monthly ice cream flavors and they were delicious! There's a small parking lot off the side of the building. It's labeled customers for World Street Kitchen. Milkjam Creamery is inside World Street Kitchen. Service was pretty quick as I was the only customer there. You can see all of the ice cream flavors in the front while you wait. read more

Their flavors don't miss! Came here with a big group after a show at the Walker and we were all so excited. They had an awesome lineup of flavors, and lucky for us, they still offer a few free samples so you can narrow things down. Service was efficient and friendly. I really appreciate that they offer some gluten free and vegan options, especially of flavors you wouldn't usually expect to be GF or vegan! I opted for chocolate swiss roll and cinnamon coffee cake - both of which were January rotating specials. Both were delicious! There were multiple flavors I would have tried. Prices have definitely increased since I last visited, with a single split being $8.50 and a double being $11.50. Their shakes are $14. That feels a bit steep to me. Looking back, I would have split the flight of 4 with friends - that's $13. It was good to be back here after not having been for quite a while! read more
I scream, you scream forreal, milkjam is fantastic. They offer unique flavors as well as some classics so everyone is happy. I tried black, made of a super dark cocoa, and was not disappointed. They have a few vegan options (a sorbet and a creamy strawberry when I visited) as well as plenty that are gluten free, though I'm not sure about cross-contamination as all the tubs are next to each other in the case. I'll be back to try the Thai tea flavor! read more

Cute little ice cream shop, super close to the lake! It's pretty popular so when we got there, there was a line. Only one person working but she was pretty fast! We found a place to sit in the ice cream shop, but if the seats are full there's more places to sit in the adjoining restaurant! Our ice cream was great and refreshing on this hot day! It's a bit pricey but worth it for a treat once in a while! read more

My favorite ice cream shop!!! I only ever get one flavor and I will never change it. I get the ridin' duuurty which contains oreo milk with oreo chunks and salted peanut butter. All of this already sounds sooo good. You can never go wrong with some nice ice cream on a hot summer day. The service is always great and they also give out samples if you aren't sure about what flavor to get. Please note this is street parking only but depending on the day/time you go it shouldn't be hard to find parking. All these flavors are a staple and they introduce new flavors each month!! Everyone needs to try this place out! :) read more
This place is the jam! There's soooo many unique flavors, I wanted to try all of them - the Sticky Toffee Pudding was really good, as was the Tea & Scones. Wished our scoop of Uma had a bit more of the passionfruit lychee swirl. Really enjoyed these flavors and wished I lived nearby to be a regular here. 2 things that Milkjam does that I'm not accustomed to seeing is an upcharge for splitting scoops between flavors. Another thing is that they auto include a 17% service charge to ensure fair wages. Because of this, they don't ask for a tip when you pay, which I appreciate and feel is honest. I would have to say Milkjam Creamery has to be in my top 3 ice cream spots if not #1...They have kept my favorite flavor since the first time I ever came, which is the Ridin' Dirty (oreo milk, oreo chunks and salted peanut butter). The last time I went I got one scoop of that along with a flavor that was new to me, Yoo-hoo puppy (yoo-hoo ice cream and peanut butter puppy chow). SO GOOD! My friend had the Milk Jam Brownie Sundae which we both loved, I believe the base was salted carmel ice cream. I love the variety of flavors, both regular and "eclectic". They usually have a line when I go but they have fast service. Parking can be a pain since it's on Lyndale but that really depends on the time of day you go. read more
We loved finally getting to try this well known ice cream stop. I got the Flight of 4 aka Ice Cream Sampler (4 Flavors: Kahwa, MilkJam, PBvsEverybody & Rid'n Dirty). I couldn't finish all of mine but I wanted to try more flavors. They do offer that you can try samples but I didn't want to make others wait. Husband Ordered the Waffle cone with 2 Scoops (Bailout & Hard Knock Life). He liked the chocolate ice cream the best. Service was fast & friendly. The restaurant was clean & they offered free self serve water (helps to wash down the ice cream). We will definitely come back when craving something sweet. read more
Wonderful spot in Uptown for a sweet afternoon treat with plenty of options. The place is clean and welcoming, with plenty of natural light. We tried a special flavor for Arab Heritage Month called Shosho. This is a mango-based ice cream with crushed pistachio and rose toffee. Absolutely delicious. Not too fruity, not too nutty. Perfect balance of flavors. Will definitely be visiting again to try more flavors! read more
Did a single split with 2 scoops and it was a good amount to share if you want something sweet. I didn't find the flavors to be anything unique but the coffee and chocolate scoops were both pretty good. Decent quality and pretty creamy. read more
Stopped here after lunch at WSK. Cute little shop. The line was out the door. Initially there was only one person working so the line was moving slowly. She had to take the order, make the order and ring up the person. After a few minutes, had another person joined her and things went a little faster. I ordered the Kunefe Sundae and my wife ordered the Jam Bun. They kids ordered assorted single scoops in cones and cups. The sundae was really yummy. The crunch from the phyllo and the sugar syrup and dried rose petals gave it a crunchy texture and a balance of flavors. The assorted scoops were fine. The pineapple / lychee sorbet was the standout. The jam bun was a mess to eat. The bun was hot so melted the ice cream very quickly. Definitely an interesting array of flavors and I would go back for the kunefe sundae. Worth checking out. read more
