Took my mother here for her birthday. Street parking, which can be difficult to find depending on when you go. I usually just walk in, never had a issue getting seated. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Love the look, definitely a cool date spot whether you start or end there. Have great desserts and cocktails but can get a little spendy. Enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be going back.
This is a fun lil place to go for that dessert craving you're having. I'd say "drunchies" if you've already had a full meal somewhere in the area. It's perfect walking distance from multiple restaurants in the north loop. You can also get to-go and bring home all the goods to enjoy at home. We sat at the bar, otherwise I think you have to order at the counter? There's not a lot of tables to sit at so it fills fast. Our favorite was the Rocher mousse. The crisp waffle hazelnut crunch on the bottom was just amazing! Tasted like the ferrero roucher chocolates if you've ever had that before. They also have a full service cocktail bar. The espresso martini was sooo good! Couldn't taste the alcohol at all. That being said,it is spendy here. Cocktails were $14 and up. I overall enjoyed my experience. One time is good enough for me though
I am so, so, soooo sad that this place is closing. We finally tried it last weekend after hearing about the impending closure, and wow, we had no idea what we were missing! The vegan desserts here are sooooooo yummy, and they have a ton of them! We shared the chocolate sundae and the rice pudding, and both were amazing. The ambiance is really fun, with a bar and some fancy seating. This would be an ok place for a first date, and since it's so close to a bunch of fancy restaurants, it's also a great place to stop in after a nice meal (which is what we did). Service was a bit slow, but they were also really busy, so not surprising. I wish it was staying open!!!
Issaaa Ice Cream Shop!! You scream, we scream, WE all scream for Ice Cream!!! Location / Ambiance 5/5 This cute place is so open and airy with high ceilings, velour booths and no reserved seating. It's conveniently located on Washington Avenue in the North Loop area. Plenty of side street parking. Service 5/5 The sweet treats, coffee over ice cream, beautiful wood floors, high back chairs, the location and ambiance are so worth waiting to Thursday. Pease extend your hours.lol but I get it. There servers are top tier and chatty like me. lol. 5/5 Prices were great. Don't ask me how I paid. I didnt track the evidence. If you're tryin to unbig your back, only come once a month. Treat yourselffff!! It's worth it! 10/10 I would recommend! As a bonus: If you like to place hop, this is the prime location. We came from lunch at Monte Carlos... they're plenty of patios, rooftops, bars, ect. It's a win win : D
Amazing desserts but try to avoid busy, very crowded weekend nights! The line was long, there was no seating & parking (even in pay lot) was almost impossible. The place is hopping & food is beautiful but quite loud & chaotic when busy. They do indicate GF options; they will box desserts to-go.
I've come here once or twice and honestly just love the overall concept of the place! So much seating and the desserts are always 10/10! Usually when a friend comes into town for a visit and we're out late, I usually stop us here for dessert and a drink. It's always packed so definitely not a hidden gem lol, but still deserves the 5 star review!

We got to Edwards Dessert Kitchen on a warm Friday night right as the Twins game finished and this place was packed! The line moved slower than I anticipated for quick desserts and some choices were limited. It's not their fault there isn't any other dessert or ice cream spots in North Loop. Their desserts are no doubt Instagram worthy, but my cookie was typical. I will be opting for one of their delicacy desserts next time! Cute booth seating by the windows for a drink or dessert on your first date.
I really like the ambiance here, as both a cafe during the day and in the evenings as a bar. I've been here 3 times now and have tried multiple desserts and, this most recent time, some cocktails. I still haven't found a dessert that I like here, unfortunately. I'm just not a fan of the frequency of mousse type desserts they offer, and I wish there was more variety. Once I try their baked goods (some cookies and a brownie) I'll update my review, but I don't think those are what they're known for or advertise often. The drinks were good though - sweet as expected, while still being able to taste the alcohol. During the day the space is not crowded, and I see people working on their laptops sometimes. It does get packed in the evenings though so I recommend getting there before 7 if you want a seat.
This place was popping on a Saturday night but plenty of seating if you stalk a little (don't be creepy about it). We got the sundae which for $10 ish wasn't a bad deal. It had 4 scoops of ice cream, edwards rich chocolate sauce and blondie chunks. The bowl and spoons were an experience. It was hectic but the staff had a great attitude and even let me try a flavor or two of ice cream. I will say that I felt like the ice cream was rich and decadent but that there might have been a slight after taste that I couldn't put my finger on.
Edward's dessert kitchen is such a fun place to be!! The creative and tasty desserts are to DIE FOR!!! I got a pastry with some ice cream on the side, and it was perfect with a mix of textures, hot and cold elements, and smooth and crunchy elements!! I love the casual atmosphere and that it can be a good place for a mid afternoon treat or a nighttime treat!! The service is very fast and friendly, and all the pastries are made with exquisite detail. A must try in Minneapolis.!!
This place was so cute and inviting! I wish I had more room to try different desserts but settled with the mango coconut rice pudding and it did not disappoint! This was so flavorful and not overwhelming with sweetness. Highly recommend!!
Recently walked by Edwards Dessert Kitchen when they had the ice cream cart out. We were stuffed from dinner but the gal working at the ice cream cart encouraged us to try free samples and I just couldn't resist. The flavors, grapefruit pink peppercorn sorbet, strawberry lemonade sherbet, rhubarb bay leaf crumble, & s'mores were all tasty, but my favorites were the rhubarb and the smores - the cinnamon & pieces of chocolate were amazing! They had a cute outdoor spot you can enjoy your ice cream too.
I've been here once years ago for an Yelp event. I remember the desserts being really good. Since my job moved out of dt/the city I don't really hang on this part of town much but definitely have a list of places I'd want to go, and this was one of them. Wish I would have visited more often. Staff were friendly. Sad they are closing the doors for good soon. Such a cute place! We got there in the evening so they were out of a lot things (very limited options for desserts) but they still have drink options. I got the hummingbird and mango oat milk matcha. My sister got the brookie (brownie cookie). Everything was really good. The place was packed and stayed consistently busy! They close 6/29/25. read more

One of my favorite dessert spots in Minneapolis! I always love their ice cream and cookies -- so good every time. The espresso martini is also a standout! I love that this place does both desserts and drinks so well. The vibe is super cute and works perfectly for both date nights and hangouts with friends. Dinner is over, but don't want the night to end? Getting together with a non-drinking friend, but you still want to enjoy a cocktail? Looking to bring a family member a fancy treat on their birthday? All of these can be accomplished at Edward's Dessert Kitchen. They have fancy confections and ice cream, cocktails and coffee, ready-to-eat pre-packaged treats and take-and-bake items in a freezer on the side. I am a special fan of their desert drinks, and their key lime pie in a jar is one of the best I have tasted. The case items rotate frequently, so you can always try something new. There are a variety of seating options, from bar, to traditional table, to more booth-style. The only downside is the line can sometimes curl through the space, so you can be on your date and a stranger is standing on line right beside you. I have not yet tried any of the small plates, but they are definitely on my list to go back for! read more
Seriously great desserts with ample choices of inventive & classic treats in a buzzy welcoming cafe like space. My eyes drew attention towards the bright & fruity looking Plum & Rice milk cheesecake. Super interesting flavor with a perfect balance of sweet, tart, creamy & buttery in each bite. Sweet from the sugar, tart from the plum, creamy from rice milk cheese, and buttery from the base graham cracker. At $14 a piece, it's definitely a higher end establishment but it's mostly worth it. read more

We were there three times in two days and tried 7 different items. Everything was a decadent treat, and we cannot wait to come back to "kill" the rest items on the menu soon. The Blueberry Buttermilk cheesecake is everyone's favorite. It's fruity and creamy, definitely a must-try if it's your first time here. The passion fruit pie and raspberry Thai Basil mousse are delightful if you don't want to go too heavy on the cream. If you like chocolate mousse, you'll love Rocher Mousse, if you hate chocolate mousse, you might still like Rocher mousse, as it's silky smooth inside and thin crispy outside, not the typical heavy chocolate mousse you might have had elsewhere. Last but not least, many interesting twists are perfectly done, such as Chinese five spices snickerdoodles, tarragon olive oil ice cream, coriander &salted caramel ice cream if you like to venture out for the unusual. If you are looking for a cozy place to have dessert and coffee or cocktails, check out Edward! It's so hard to find sweets later in the day and I feel like we hit the jackpot here. The desserts were beautiful and delicious. I had the caramel apple pie. Instead of crust, it had little candy like balls. I'm not sure what they were, but I liked it. It was full of apples and had a browned butter and caramel flavor with creamy whipped cream. So good! The latte was excellent too. Next time I visit, I'd like to try some of the cocktails. It would be a great spot to sit and read too. Highly recommend! read more

Cutest high-end dessert place ever. Love a good sweet treat! I love Edwards Dessert Kitchen for a special treat. It's expensive but it's worth it because the desserts are so intricate and well made. Expect to pay $12-16 for each dessert. They rotate their items pretty much weekly so you can always try something new. Some items are seasonal as well! The staff is super knowledgeable too so don't be afraid to ask questions. Beautiful interior, great for pictures. Metered parking or paid lots near by. read more
Loved loved loved! My first note - THEY HAVE SAVORY FOODS TOO haha. This surprised a few people in my party, but was great news! We stopped by for a small-bite dinner, drinks and desserts of course. Everything we had was unbelievably good and reasonably priced. I wish I remembered everything I ordered hahaha, but I really don't think you can go wrong with what you order here! The service was OUTSTANDING. We sat at the bar (highly recommend). The bartender serviced us so we didn't have to go up to the counter. He was so playful and even poured us a few free drinks throughout the night. Adorable place that can hold more people than you think! Love love love this place. It's been on my list for a while but just couldn't make it out there Luckily I found some time on a Saturday to go! I had low expectations of the interior but was blown away with how pretty it is. My friend and I ended up sitting at a bay window with lots of sunlight. I'm adding this to my survive winter kit lol The service was good although I'll take one star off because they took a long time to bring out the dip. And I think they forgot to make it. But that's minor. They did check in on us several times I got a chocolate cake and my friend got the lavender cheesecake. Both were divine and the cheesecake was so pretty to eat. I also got a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie for later and it was so yummy. I had a chai latte which was pretty good. The dip was warm and lovely and yummy as well. Parking is a bit difficulty because it's in north loop obviously. Plan for this if you come here cause you will want to stay awhile. It looks like they have a full bar as well so might be a good spot to check out if going for drinks. read more

When we ordered our pastries it was fast and easy, we found seating in the lobby fast although it was a little packed. We ordered an oat milk latte and I really enjoyed how it complimented the blueberry and butter milk cheesecake. Also really liked the Hazelnut rocher mousse, it is such a pretty space to enjoy a variety of different things However parking is paid street only. Yet still, I cannot wait to visit again! read more
Some of the best patisserie in the cities; hands down. Everything is a great mix of flavor, texture, and presentation. They're open evenings on weekdays and afternoons in the weekends until pretty late so it's a good place to wind down the night with a coffee and dessert. The staff is always super nice and helpful with any questions. Their food and cocktails are also fantastic and I'd recommend it for a "pregame" place if that's your jam. Super trendy atmosphere with neon signs, airy seating, and lots of plants. We got the berry pavlova and it was amazing. Perfect pavlova with a crisp shell and marshmallow interior. Nice sharp blackberry mousse in a razor thin berry-chocolate shell filled with a delicious blueberry and blackberry compote. read more

Had a wedding downtown and the cake took too long to come out, so I opted to head over and try Edward's. When you first walk in, the ambiance is there, cute chairs, chill vibe and knowledgeable staff. I decided to try the salted caramel ice cream. While the ice cream was good, I would opt for a different flavor next time, the caramel used to make it taste a bit burnt so it wasn't as sweet as I imagined. But that Chocolate chip cookie and espresso martini!!! 10/10, bravo, round of applause!! I suggest if you try this place you get a few things to nibble on, as if I stopped at the ice cream I would have been disappointed but I saw it through lol! Definitely will be back! read more

Mind blown I can't begin to explain. It's really difficult to decide which one(s). Choice will be the hardest part of your visit. We got 5. To go. We split them all over a few days. Completely intoxicating. It's spendy. But completely worth every Penny. Highly recommend. Don't save for only special occasions. Treat yourself. Go now. read more
One of the best places to get desserts in town! The desserts are so pretty and taste as good as they look. I have always come and gotten stuff to go, but they have such a cute sit down area that is always packed with people. On my last trip there I got the chocolate creme pie and the pear chai creme puff. SO GOOD. The creme puff was to die for. I am a chocolate girl so the fact it had no chocolate in it and I loved it this much was insane. Just come here and get anything, I don't think you can go wrong here! read more

We stopped here after eating dinner a few blocks away. It was a short walk and well worth walking in the chilling wind. As soon as you walk in you see the counter to order your desserts and the bar is on the left. I got the blueberry cheesecake and my husband got a passion fruit pie. As far as drinks, he got an old fashion and I ordered an espresso martini. Everything was delicious and the decor was cute, well lit and inviting. read more
I am the definition of a dessert person, so I've been admiring Edwards from afar until I got the chance to try it this past weekend! Located across from Red Rabbit in North Loop, it's the perfect spot for a cool cocktail/dessert lounge and central to a lot of other restaurants. We came here after an anniversary dinner in the area! The inside is super cool, almost like an above-ground speakeasy vibe. The bar is beautiful and definitely an eye catcher. I love the exposed brick and didn't even realize they had an actual food menu as well! I was surprised to see the dessert case more off to the side since it is a "dessert kitchen". The options here are extensive and rotate, so if you like something make sure you try it! A friend had recommended me a dish that was no longer on the menu. Staff was very kind and the coffee my boyfriend ordered came out quick. We ordered 3 different desserts and a coffee coming out to $32, which is pretty fair for the high quality desserts. We ordered the Snack Cake, Brown Butter Blondie & Lemon Chestnut Dessert Jar. All three were phenomenal! Surprisingly my favorite was the Brown Butter Blondie (I'm a chocolate girl at heart). It was salty, sweet and rich - you would think it would be bland by the picture, but it was nothing but flavor! The snack cake was a delicious chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and a chocolate shell. The cake was incredibly moist and the buttercream silky, not too rich either! Only downside was the chocolate shell was so stiff it was hard to bite/cut into. Think of a Portillos Chocolate Cake, but elevated. Finally, the lemon dessert jar was light and a great palette cleanser with the two rich baked goods. It was so refreshing and summery! Overall, will definitely be back to try some more treats, but also want to try a drink or bite to eat! read more

The dessert shop was nice. We went in close to the end of day. The desserts were good. Staff was nice. Ambiance was amazing. Highly recommend it after a night of mini golf at Puttery if you are looking for a quick sweet fix. read more

Cute dessert-focused spot. Came here to dodge the rain one Saturday afternoon and had a lovely time. The four of us settled into a booth with a desert of choice and latte, and the atmosphere was chill. You order at the counter first and the. They bring out your order to your number. They have a bar with bar seating inside as well. Indoor seating only. Single occupant restrooms available in the back left. Credit cards accepted. The Rocher Mousse cake looked quite aesthetic and the matcha latte I had was comforting. The pistachio cookie was alright. They have sorbet as well. This is such a cute place to come grab a dessert with friends or on a date night. I had the blueberry cheesecake, rhubarb custard pie, and the lemon grass banana cream pie. I love that this place is dedicated to just desserts and drinks. It has such an awesome atmosphere and the desserts I was able to try were really good. Because they had a lot of options to try on I asked for a recommendation and they were all very tasty. Very great service and desserts! I tried the Paloma drink and it was not it. It was just something that did not sit well her other than that really great spot. read more
