Who doesn't love ice cream with a warm waffle. They also have chicken and waffles which I normally end up getting because I am always craving savory but I also get ice cream for after. This place isn't huge but there is always plenty of seating. Great place for kids and adults. Huge parking lot, great location in the south suburbs. The ambiance here is definitely lacking (that is why this is only 4 stars) it doesn't really make you want to stay there and eat. I've loved waffle bar ever since they opened because the workers are always friendly and helpful and the waffles themselves are delicious. Usually I would go to the Lyndale/Minneapolis location but since we were in the area we stopped by. This location is much bigger and had an ample amount of parking compared to the Minneapolis location. I like that you can choose any flavor of ice cream for any of the creations. I also like that the waffle itself tastes delicious and that the waffle is beautifully presented. I used to not like how they didn't have many ice cream flavor options but in the last year or so they have gotten more flavors! Every so often they will get seasonal waffles also. I tried a new seasonal waffle for Valentine's day - the red velvet. It's not as red as it shows up in pictures but still cute. I'm not particularly fond of the heart candies so I asked if I could replace it with one of their warm cookies and the worker obliged. It was delicious and I would definitely get it again! Don't forget to try a bubble tea as well - theirs is amazing and I love their selection. Btw, the price may seem expensive but the waffle is honestly gigantic so it's worth it. This is a very nice place right on the burbs. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They are patient with kids and during their indecision in making decisions. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming with good music play. In my opinion it might sound little too loud when there are not too many people. But definitely very clean and tidy place and they do have very clean restroom. I like the little plants they have on each table. There are lots of good choices to choose from here. I am not surprised that kids are always so unsure about which one to get. It's a good thing. The waffles tasted great and well put together. I had the one with bacon on my first day and I was in love , I tried the one with mango sorbet after that and was in love again. My son loves the one with cookies and my daughter loves the one with unicorn, then cotton candy. If you live south of the river, then you need to hit this place up! This place serves more than just 'waffles', it provides ice cream, boba drinks and delicious waffles. It is located in a strip mall, next to a gas station; so, plenty of parking and they have outdoor seating (enforce social distancing, no inside seating). Our kids love the waffle cone with ice cream; especially the Salty Unicorn, which has 'unicorn' ice cream, sour patch candies and edible glitter (didn't know that was a thing!). For drinks, we usually get the golden milk tea (my personal go to) and chili mango (comes with a cool tamarind straw) or a fruit tea (something refreshing). The pearls are consistently soft and chewy (never the rock hard, hard to eat pearls) and we appreciate that the drinks are filled with a ton of sugar (usually light sweet; not drinking sugar water). We haven't tried the savory waffles yet...but will soon! If you find yourself in the south metro or have no issue driving to Lakeville, stop at this location (or the one in Minneapolis!). read more

I love peanut butter: ice cream, malts, shakes and now, apparently, waffles. There a nice breadth of preselected options, otherwise it's an a la carts. Very similar to a Coldstone Creamery. I would say it's borderline novel, where it's not somewhere I would go with regular frequency like a regular ice cream shop, but it is a nice treat. We came here due to good reviews and some tantalizing pictures I had seen of their waffle ice cream cones online. We were expecting to satisfy our sweet tooth and satisfied is an absolute understatement on what actually happened. We decided to try two of their bubble waffle ice cream sundaes - the Cookieapolis and the super charged sugary Eye Candy. The Cookieapolis was pretty good but the Eye Candy cone was the real winner. It was a a rolled waffle that held a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream topped with gummy bears, Fruity Pebbles, edible glitter, a full cone of cotton candy and a rock candy stick. It was like four treats in one, a great value and bang for your buck. My kids went nuts for it. This place will be one of our go-to ice cream places in Lakeville from now on. read more
