The matcha is also amazing and made authentically, which you can really taste in the quality. They clearly take a lot of pride in how their drinks are prepared. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which makes it such a nice place to slow down and enjoy your tea. You can sit at traditional tea tables on tatami mats, shoes off, which adds to the whole experience and makes it feel very intentional and relaxing. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also have a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas, kettles, mugs, and other tea accessories for sale. They added sweetener but it still tasted very bitter and said their policy doesn't allow to change drinks.
