Bober Tea & Mochi Doughnuts is on the main floor of Asia Mall, to the left when you enter near Pho Mai. In fact, I believe it's the same owner as Pho Mai! This spot has a few built-in kiosk ordering screens which makes it easy to order, though there isn't a service/human element to the ordering process. Sometimes the screen can be a bit wonky, but I like that you can see the drinks and doughnuts photos visually before ordering. You can get a variety of boba drinks here, as well as mochi doughnuts. I like that you can order an individual doughnut, or a 3- or 6-pack. They do sell out of certain flavors fast! The boba here tastes fresh, and I like that they have such fresh-made boba pearls. Bubble tea and mochi doughnuts are a match made in heaven, and this is a great spot to get both at Asia Mall!
I love both the authentic Asian drink and American style beverages, so I'm usually pretty good at discovering the good stuff - but I have to say, this boba coffee I got today is disappointing. I ordered an Iced Vietnamese Coffee with Egg Custard topping and boba (extra $1 for the boba), which is almost $9 in total. The drink I actually received has no egg custard creamy topping, no boba, just a plain coffee - nothing like what was advertised on the menu (see picture attached). Also, you need to be very careful reading the menu - it's very possible that they post a picture with a lot of fun boba and jelly, but none of those will be included (yes they do explain that on the menu, but that font is very tiny so be mindful).
Super easy when ordering mochi doughnuts!! You order on the self service screens and then they call your name & you let them know your order! This is possibly my favorite location for mochi doughnuts as they always have a good variety. A must-go whenever we visit Asia Mall!
These donuts are absolutely amazing! We've tried other mochi donut places in the cities but this one is our favorite. It's located on the first level of the Asia mall so it's a nice add-on to hitting up some fun shopping as well. The order at the kiosk is fairly easy where you can select how many donuts you want. They quickly call your name, and you choose the specific flavors that they expertly place in the box with chopsticks. The donuts themselves are so fluffy and flavorful. We've never had one that we didn't like! Service is quick and you're on your way! If you're lucky, a few might even make it home with you!

Also, the mochi doughnuts are exactly what you expect a mochi doughnut to be, that is the redeeming quality of this place. Prepare to be annoyed at getting your order, but pleased with the result (as long as you understand the tea menu)
This bubble tea and mochi donuts cafe is located in Asian mall. They are located on the first floor next to Pho Mai. They have a kiosk to order from otherwise cashier is always available. You can choose from a single selection of donut, otherwise box of 3 or 6. Once they call your number at the counter, you can choose the different flavors available. Cafe is nice, flow of the entrance and orders on the left and exit on the right.
You can tell this is a hot spot because there is always a line (but don't let that keep you away - it moves quickly!). This is a staple whenever we visit Asia Mall. The drinks can be sweet. We generally opt for a 25% sweetness and that's plenty. The mochi donuts are fresh, flavorful, and spongy. Note: this location is inside Asia Mall to the left upon entry. The line is formed against the partial wall on the edge of the grocery portion.
I've had bober tea around 4-5 times now. Each time, their boba has great texture and the milk teas are consistently flavored well, not overly strong tea taste, just the right amount IMO. I ordered the hazelnut milk tea and it was good! However, I ordered 0% sugar and it somehow was still pretty sweet. I've had the mochi donuts a few times as well and they are pretty good, I like how they rotate flavors from time to time. My favorite was the biscoff one. If you're checking out Asia mall, this boba will satisfy your cravings.

Then when your number is called you tell the staff person which flavors you want. So if you ordered a dozen but they are out of the flavors you want, you're stuck. At $15.75 for a box of six, these are not inexpensive donuts and the bober teas are all $6-$7. This is also a national chain with a few dozen locations mostly in California.
Mung bean and pandan latte might not be the first thing that jumps out at you from this menu but it was for me. The boba had the perfect QQ texture even though it was the end of the day. (There is an entire New York Times article on what QQ Means) Ratings of the doughnuts: Mother in law: #1: ube #2: strawberry #3: fruity pebble cake batter Husband: #1: fruity pebble cake batter #2: strawberry/ube Me: #1: strawberry #2: ube #3 fruity pebble cake batter I think this just goes to show that they are all tasty but everyone has their personal preferences in flavors. I grew up eating strawberry pocky and hello panda so that artificial strawberry flavor was very nostalgic for me and hit just right on the donut. Ube was super solid (a purple yam that resembles white chocolate) too, and I was told it was one of the most popular. Ordering at the kiosk is easy and you can tap pay, which I appreciate. Things came out quite timely. Highly recommend!!
During break one of my coworkers went to grab us mochi donuts from the Asia mall in Eden prairie. Bober tea sells sprinkle donuts and OMG guys they're so good. The texture is a bit difficult to explain, it's a bit chewy but also like a donut. The dough has a good flavor and toppings are so good. I do recommend giving these a try! They're unique type of donuts, hard to NOT like :)
Second time at this boba tea and mochi donut shop on the first floor of the Asia Mall in Eden Prarie. The computer board ordering is a little wonky, but the staff is friendly and both the boba and donuts are top notch. They have had different flavors of donuts both times we have been, but I haven't yet tried one I didn't like.
Joined a small line that moved quickly. Used the kiosk to order a 6 pack and 2 drinks. I messed up and so our drinks didn't have boba but I loved that you could select how sugary you wanted your drinks. Our name was called and we were able to go up and pick the 6 donuts we wanted. AMAZING. So crunchy yet light. They melt in your mouth and the frosting is sooooo flavorful. We tried the mochi, cookies and cream, egg nog, fruity?, churro, and strawberry. I mochi was my favorite but they were all amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try new flavors!!
We went right when they opened up and ordered the NUTTY O.G. drink and three donuts - Black Sesame, Taro, and Blueberry. One of the ordering machines was not working and the employees were trying to fix it while keeping up promptly with the stream of orders coming in otherwise. The drink was strong and nutty and each of the donuts were really good. I really enjoy how the icing on each of them was flavorful and not too sweet. If I had to pick only one I would go back for the black sesame one time and time again. read more
Mochinut donut was really good. I ordered the cookies and cream. I'd recommend that flavor. The lattes made my tummy hurt a little bit I think from the dairy in it and my Charo latte didn't have flavor. I'd try another flavor though, and I think my tummy was sensitive not saying it was bad read more

I had a good experience here and overall would probably go again. The donuts were definitely on the pricier side (came out to about $3 per donut) but they were pretty yummy and I loved the chewy mochi texture and bubbly shape! I ended up choosing the matcha, taro, and lavender flavors which were all super cute. The lavender was a bit too sweet and overpowering, and my favorite was probably the matcha! I will say ordering was a little odd because you did it from a little screen kiosk rather than at a counter with the person. read more

You would place your order on a kiosk and the staff will call out your name. The place appears to be busy - there is a line to use the kiosk. There were 9 different flavors on the day I ordered a dozen mochi donuts. I gave this place 4 out of 5 stars because they ran out of mango and strawberry flavors for bubble tea. I ordered a strawberry at the kiosk and was told they were sold out. My given options were pineapple or pink pear. Anyway, the mochi donuts remain warm throughout my commute back to Blaine. Despite running out of bubble tea flavors, they have some good donuts! read more
Swung by for dessert after dinner at Hot Pot City. The ordering experience at the kiosk was super easy! I just wish there were other options for sizes - maybe I just didn't see them? I appreciate when places let you pick your sweetness level. I ordered a chizu taro latte with 25% sweetness at the recommendation of a friend and it was delicious! My husband ordered a hazelnut with the stir fried boba. They unfortunately were out of the boba, but the kid at the counter was very sweet and offered us an alternative. I'll definitely be back and will be ordering a donut as well! read more

This is a very busy location as Bober Tea is attached to a pho restaurant within the Mall. The Bober Tea side is grab-and-go which I did not expect. No cash accepted; kiosk ordering with multiple ways of paying via card, Apple Pay, etc. 2 kiosks to order from so the line did not take long! Possibly an unpopular opinion: mochi donuts are WAY better than regular donuts. Bober Tea had many options for flavors that rotate often! They are light, slightly chewy but not an odd texture. Flavor was phenomenal for such a light bakery food. The iced matcha was average. I wish I would have asked for light ice- the tea:ice ratio was imbalanced for my liking. It was beautifully decorated but the flavor was nothing to rave about. I would try something different next time! Boba offered is tapioca-like, not the bursting bubbles. Reasonably priced! read more

This was my first experience trying a mochi donut, and it was way better than I thought it would be! So many yummy flavors and drink options. I love how you can just pull apart the donuts, and save them for a day or two without going stale like a regular donut. I can't even pick a favorite flavor because we loved every single one we tried. My friend really enjoyed hers and went back again already! read more
Came specifically for the Mochi Dough donuts. Forced to buy larger amount than one can possibly eat in one day. Either 6 or 12 pack. I say this because if saved for the next day, the mochi donuts are heavy and dense. The flavors are great but can't eat that much. Others mochi places in the cities offer 1 donut purchase and comes out warm such as Soga Mochi. read more

We ordered the Mochi Dough donuts. You order at a kiosk and when they call your name you get to chose which donuts you want. They had 9 flavor options to chose from. On the day we went they had Taro, Pistachio, Lemon Blossom, Strawberry Shortcake, Churro, Biscoff, Black Sesame, choco coco and Rose Petal. We ordered 6. They are so tasty! The dough is springy and chewy. I love the texture of the donut. The flavors are really good too. They are sweet but not over sweet with slight fried dough taste. Our favorites were the choco coco and the pistachio. Our least favorite was the churro. From my reading up on these donuts they are supposed to be gluten free which I think is great! They are made with a Tapioca flour mixture. read more
It was a long line for Bober Tea and Mochi Dough which I don't blame them because both the Bober tea and Mochi doughnuts were delicious! There are two kiosk for you to order your bubble tea and then you don't pick the flavors for the donuts but you just pick how many you want. Then you get called to the counter to pick the flavors you want. My favorite flavor for the donuts were taro, coconut, captain crunch, strawberry shortcake, pistachio, and cookies and cream! You won't be disappointed in any of the flavors I recommend stopping by when you're at the Asia Mall! read more
bubble tea and mochi donuts? Can't think of a better indulgent combo! Situated inside the new Asia Mall, this place is great for grabbing on the go orders. Order what you want at the two kiosks, and your order is prepared by the nearby employees pretty quickly. I didn't get a chance to try the bubble tea due to the long line today (even though it was only 11 on a Tues), but got a 6 pack of the mochi donuts (flavors below) -Black sesame -matcha -cookies and cream -taro -churro Major bummer that you can only get one matcha donut per 6 pack! The donuts were good for sure, but not worth the long line in the future. There should definitely be a menu listed before getting to the kiosks, as several customers were taking 5-10 minutes to order- making the process crazy slow. Hopefully will be back and it'll go more smoothly once operations hit a better flow after their first month in the mall! read more
It's worth the wait for the mochi doughnut. Eat it fresh only! Get the flavor glazed as it is not too sweet in general... the wifey ordered an assortment dozen, which was way too many and not so good the next day as so with anything, especially with mcD frys unless you're my niece who loves one day old fries. read more
There is a long line for this place since it also has Mochi Dough. The boba tea selection was pretty extensive and the ordering kiosk was nice. They let you pick out the donuts you want. My son got a hazelnut boba and he enjoyed it. The donuts were a little pricy but to be expected. read more

Love the drinks and mochi doughnuts! Haven't had a chance to go into the restaurant so will need to come back to check them out. For boba tea and doughnuts you will need to order through the kiosk so the line can get long but it moves quickly. There's 2 kiosks to order from. For all the traffic that goes on here they're doing a great job keeping it clean! read more
I recently discovered Mochi Dough, a charming Mochi Donut shop located in Asia Mall. They also serve milk tea Bober Tea. Their Mochi Donuts come in sets of 3, 6, or 12. I tried the 6-donut box with flavors like Strawberry Shortcake, Black Sesame, Matcha, Oreo Cookies, Taro, and Red Velvet. The Sesame and Oreo Cookies were my favorites. ~$16/ 6 donuts is quite pricy. The box is beautiful. This can be a gift to our family and friends. The donuts have a chewy texture and a rich taste. They were a bit sweeter than typical Japanese desserts, but it didn't bother me. One thing to note is that somehow this place is always busy, and there's usually a line. However, it moves quickly. This is definitely worth a visit! read more

I have nothing to complain about!!! The donuts were amazing. Honestly for how long the line was, it went really fast! I went on a Sunday around noon. Staff was super friendly. WORTH IT. I will be back to try other flavors!! read more
I don't even love donuts because they are usually too sweet, but these are delish. They are light and chewy without tasting like a mouth full of sugar. Even the ones with toppings will not send you into a diabetic shock. It was a half hour wait, but the service was friendly. I would get them again and recommend everyone try them. Don't get one though, get a variety pack. They are made with rice flour so they are gluten friendly. Bonus for those who need that! read more

I should preface this review by saying that we went on the first day of Chinese New Year celebrations and the place was packed. Every establishment in the Asia Mall had very long lines that appeared to be related to the holiday. The mouth-watering donuts are the perfect, chewy consistency. You purchase a pack of six, they call your name and you select which six go into your box. We got taro, black sesame, strawberry shortcake, cookies and cream, fruity pebble and funnel cake. I'd rank them in that order I listed them in from best to worst. The funnel cake was the only one that didn't have an icing because it was coated in powdered sugar which I didn't like as much. My black sesame in particular was slightly dry on the outside but a great flavor. I would've also liked to try the salted caramel and fortune cookie flavors. Maybe next time! I wish they had a separate line for people only ordering donuts because the line moved very slowly around people ordering beverages. In their defense, there were a lot of amazing varieties of specially flavored drinks but I didn't get one on purpose during my visit because we didn't want to wait any longer. read more
Came here specifically for the mochi donuts! Plenty of unique and seasonal flavors! We got a half order dozen which came in a nice box. The staff was quick to get to our order and the shop itself has a cute aesthetic. A great place to stop by for a snack--especially the black sesame mochi donuts! read more

Great mochi doughnuts! Consistency is spot on and the icing is very flavorful but not too sweet. All the flavors were tasty, but my top pick is the black sesame. Bubble tea is ok. They do let you pick your sweetness. I got 25% sweet, which was closer to the taste of 75% other places. There's no option for how much ice, which I've come to expect. There was way too much ice for me, and it made it impossible to get out the last half of my boba. There was no line when we got there. We ordered through the kiosk and we're immediately called over to pick out our doughnuts. By the time they finished boxing our doughnuts, our 2 drinks were ready. read more

The doughnuts are very good and the teas are also delicious. There are only 2 self-order kiosks so you cannot pay with cash and there is a lot of ice in the drinks. (There is no notes option on the kiosk to ask for light ice and since nobody takes orders in person it can be confusing) Lost one star for no in person orders aka no customer service and another since each time I've gone my drink is over 50% ice. I do recommend the doughnuts though read more

Absolutely phenomenal mochi donuts!! They do different flavors each week!! The service was very fast and polite!! It is a small space where you can take your mochi donuts and boba tea to go! It is attached to a restaurant as well which has seating if you are planning to eat at the restaurant attached to it!! read more
