Fun dessert to hang out with a parking lot. Cute compact place on eat street close to uptown at the intersection of 28th and Lyndale. There is street parking, but this short strip shared with Subway has a dedicated parking lot! A few tables inside to sit, but not really meant to be an extended stay; will get to that later. This establishment serves creations in a delicious waffle "cone". The cone is soft and not crispy compared to a standard ice cream place. I do wish it had a crispier texture on the outside and it felt a bit dense/ doughy for my preference. The wrapper has tear points so you can get down to eating the rest of the waffle if you desire. Salty Unicorn: Cotton candy Ice cream with whip cream, sprinkles, and a fun sour gummy. It's a kid's dream and felt nostalgic eating it; like going to the state fair with your parents. The place is more catered to grab and go, we stayed behind to chat and the cleaning chemicals in the air gave my eyes a discomfort from being there. Otherwise it's a nice rotation to desserts along the eat street.

Cute location and super friendly staff! They weren't busy but service was great! Got the cookieapolis waffle as needed a chocolate fix!! This was good - I do wish they would add more toppings because there is a lot of waffle left over Also got a drink- the strawberry lychee pea flower combo! It is a very pretty drink but too overpowering with the pea flower part so would skip that next time

Photogenic Waffles [Minneapolis MN] While driving through Downtown Minneapolis we spotted this dessert place and pulled up in a small private parking lot. The interior is not very big with a few table seating. We ordered a Banana Cream Waffle, a Strawberry Whip Waffle (two separate because they didn't have a dessert that had both the strawberry and banana in one), we also got a PB Love Signature Bubble Waffle. We shared the desserts so we can have a little bit of everything. Delicious treats! I tried their specialty drink the Butterfly Lemonade (lemonade pea tea and lemon slice) simple yet refreshing! It came in a souvenir glass jar w/ twist top. The two gals behind the counter were quick and before we can say "waffles" our desserts were ready! Friendly and fast service! Satisfy that sweet tooth and head over to Waffle Bar! Instagram: @wafflebarmn Review #3183

If you're looking for a sweetness overload you gotta check out waffle bar. It's not far from the chain of lakes in Mpls and was the perfect summer treat! My favorite is the mango sorbet with the mango popping boba. The shop is a lot smaller than used to be but still offering the same great puffy pillowy waffles sprinkled with powdered sugar and fun toppings!

They had a few people ahead of us when we got here but they were very nice and told us right away it would be a bit. The place is small but clean and welcoming. The size is reasonable priced for the cities. Just had got ice cream (strawberry dream) and it was very good!

I was craving something sweet and decided to head on over to the Waffle Bar! They had a large menu with sweet and savory waffles, ice cream, and boba teas. After much deliberation I decided to order the Cookieapolis but with vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate. Everything on their menu is super customizable, or you can create your own waffle from scratch. My version of the Cookieapolis was absolutely delicious. Sprinkles, caramel, cookies, and vanilla ice cream all wrapped in a warm waffle. I loved the warm waffle with the coldness of the ice cream. The waffle was perfectly cooked and the service was great. They have a cute wall perfect for taking pictures too!

Even tho it's getting cold this little spot it a sweet little place to go for a treat.. I've never been, but it was well worth it.. When we walked in, the customer service was very nice. They had music playing in the back, which was very upbeat. We advised her it was my first time there.. She was very nice and patient with me. I ended up getting an oreo shack, which was very nice. You even get to keep the jar it comes in. This spot is super cute and friendly.. Thank you very much Definitely going back..

I loooove me some bubble waffles!! The bubble waffles were the perfect ratio of crispy to soft. Plus the portion sizes were great and filling! Definitely a delicious dessert spot to try. They have a bunch of cool combos to pick from such as, Strawberry Dream, Cookieapolis, Chicken and Waffles, etc.! So if you're looking for something sweet or savory, they will have it. I didn't get any of their boba drinks, but they were super expensive. $9 for a butterfly pea speciality drink... omg. A good side note is that they have color changing spoons (super cool)!

WAFFLES, ICE CREAM, AND DELICIOUS DRINKS SAY LESS! HONESTLY A HIDDEN GEM! Delicious waffle that pairs well with the ice and toppings - tends to get sweeter towards the bottom because the waffles soaks up all the stuff Drinks are super cute with a GLASS JAR!! If you a tamarind lover, go here!! Must have for dessert!!

Holy crap! As soon as you take one look at the photos and reviews for this waffle bar you will be getting in your car at 10 PM to go. At least that's what I did, and boy am I glad I did. We arrived around 830 during the week and there was no one in line before us. The colorful walls and delicious looking photos reassured us that we were in the right place. After carefully looking over the waffle cones, regular waffles, shakes, teas, I knew I had to get the peanut butter lover waffle. I can't remember the exact name but that's what they should call it. I would like to say that this dessert is shareable, because you get a lot of food... But I can't possibly imagine actually sharing this with someone as it got a little messy. I would highly recommend the one that I got, especially if you love peanut butter and chocolate. However; I am super interested in trying something else on the menu next time I return. I will definitely be revisiting this location again soon, I would highly recommend that you check it out if you were in the area. I don't think there's anything you could get that would be bad!

Disclaimer: I just got ice cream, not the fancy stuff, it was gross. There was freezer burn or something going on with the cookies and cream, and it was a huge bummer. My kid got the nutella/banana ice cream thing in a waffle. That looked good, bananas were fresh, I tried it wasn't blown away though, hard to manage. There was no place to sit, the garbage cans outside were overflowing, so it just didn't seem like a prime time to be there.

We loved waffle bar! There are so many options for so many tastes, and pallets!! Super cute little shop, and I appreciate that they have a parking lot and busy uptown! The workers took their time to produce a quality bubble waffle cone, and they were super friendly and excited that we were there!

My go-to flavors are Uncle Grandpa, Uma Thurman, and Pineapple Lychee. Uncle Grandpa is comforting and rich, Uma Thurman is smooth and indulgent without being heavy, and Pineapple Lychee is bright, tropical, and incredibly refreshing. Even if you're not usually a sorbet person, this one converts people. What really says it all is this: Milkjam is the one ice cream shop I make a point to visit every single month. I don't do that with any other ice cream place. The quality is that consistent. The shop has a fun, welcoming vibe, the staff is great with samples and recommendations, and the rotating menu keeps things exciting. If you love ice cream and live in (or are visiting) the Twin Cities, Milkjam is non-negotiable.

Milkjam Creamery is a small but inviting ice cream shop right next to World Street Kitchen. From…read morethe moment we walked in, the staff was immediately very welcoming and kind. There was one group ahead of us, but that gave us time to look through the list of unique flavors they had to offer. Most of the flavors had goofy names that added an element of fun to the experience that I appreciated. With only one employee working at the time, we waited a couple of minutes before being helped, but it was very reasonably quick. Given the fact that a lot of the flavors were unique, we wanted to try a lot of them, especially because it was our first time. Each month, there are a few rotating flavors. This month featured a Valentine's chocolate lineup. I ended up trying five flavors and felt too guilty to try more. I honestly was not a fan of most of the flavors I tried. I expected to enjoy the PB vs Everybody (a peanut butter banana ice cream with oreo chunks), but the banana really threw me off. The Tru Luv (milk chocolate truffle with chocolate almond crunch, caramel chocolate fudge) also had a "weird" kind of chocolate flavor that I didn't really enjoy. In retrospect, I'm not really sure how to describe it. I ended up choosing the Lemon Drizzle Cake and Ridin' Duuurty (oreo milk with oreo chunks and salted peanut butter). The Lemon Drizzle Cake had a very pleasant textural contrast, and the lemon flavor was not too strong. It was just enough to come through without being bitter. As for the Ridin' Duuurty, I was actually very hesitant to pull the trigger on this flavor. Typically, cookies 'n cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, and I also tend to really like peanut butter-flavored sweets, so this seemed like it would be a no-brainer. But when I sampled it, the ice cream base tasted weird. It had "oreo milk", which I wasn't sure about, but definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting. I ended up going for this flavor just because I was pretty sure I would still enjoy the flavor of two components I typically love in my desserts. I was surprised to see I actually enjoyed it slightly more after the fact. The peanut butter comes as a little cube that I didn't really get in my sample bite, which definitely helped. As for the ice cream itself, it had a very nice consistency. The ice cream wasn't overly creamy, yet it was still very rich and smooth. Although Milkjam has a lot of unique flavors, all of them are on the sweeter side. Even the default vanilla flavors are "sweet cream" and have "sweetened condensed milks". Because of this, I don't think Milkjam would be everyone's cup of tea, but they have so many interesting flavors that are at least worth giving a shot. Scoops are on the pricier side, with single scoops starting at 6.50, jumping to 8.50 for a single split scoop, and 11.50 for a double. If I were to come back, I probably wouldn't get anything more than a single. Scoop sizes aren't very generous, and an additional two dollars for the split scoop definitely didn't feel worth it. Milkjam wouldn't be my first choice, but every once in a while, I would be happy to come back to try out their rotating flavors and give others a shot.

I should preface this with an in depth disclaimer: i am not a picky eater. i eat things that others find repulsive, i eat things in ways other people would never dare to consider. when i cook, i consume a mouthful of each ingredient im using before i add it. i want to understand the taste! (this is not an exaggeration). i eat anything. and that's why it's so strange to me that for the first time in my life, the power of bebe zitos has rendered me incapable of finishing a dish. This food sucks, man. it's like, made by people without tastebuds. The food here is so aggressively bland, it's rather impressive. Not underseasoned... unseasoned. Every dish tastes like the kitchen staff has a personal vendetta against flavor. Chewing it is like having a mouthful of familiar textures with very little taste, if any. it's quite maddening. Here's what really gets me: they'll proudly serve a vanilla ice cream with MSG added, and use words like "umami" on their menu. But a burger? Fries? Those don't deserve salt. The cognitive dissonance is staggering. You understand flavor science well enough to dose your ice cream with MSG, but you can't be bothered to season a patty? it's bland incarnate, masquerading as classic diner fare, but deconstructed and self aware, in all its greasy goodness. And those precious little boxes everything comes in? The ones that look so adorable on Instagram? They're a disaster. The second your food goes in there, steam turns everything soggy. Your fries get limp, your burger sits in its own condensation. My mind has never before been a host to the abstract thought forms of "french fry" and "erectile dysfunction treatments" in my mind at the same time Speaking of which - I paid extra for avocado on my burger. What I got was half an avocado, uncut, just plopped on top like an afterthought. Not sliced. Not mashed. Just a whole hemisphere of avocado that's somehow both slimy and weirdly warm from sitting in that steam-trap box. Look at this thing. This is what $3 extra gets you - a sweaty, unsliced avocado half slowly dissolving into mush on top of an already soggy burger. Did anyone in the kitchen actually think about how this would be eaten? Or was the photo op the only consideration? The complaints keep piling up elsewhere too - overcooked tots, what appears to be frozen pre-packaged chicken, grossly overpriced for what you get. This is an ice cream shop pretending to run a kitchen, and it shows. The irony is that they clearly know how to make something excellent - the proof is in their ice cream. Creative flavors, perfect execution, a depth of understanding the chemistry of taste. So why does the savory menu taste like an afterthought prepared by people who've never actually eaten their own food? Come for dessert, skip literally everything else.

Chicken Liver Mousse Bruschetta was the weak point in the meal as it just seemed to be lacking a component that balanced the richness of the mousse.
