    Strawberry Motito

Got a boba bowl on a Wednesday because they were on special. We opted for the Strawberry motito which tasted very strong but good. Our server was very attentive and stopped by a lot. The ambiance was chill, dimly lit and great for a casual hang out with some great, creative drinks. Hidden gem in uptown!

Paid street parking. To go upstairs there's an u marked door down the hall. Upstairs they have inside and outside seating. Service is slow but drinks came out decently time. Happy hour from 5-7. Specials during weekdays as well. Spicy flavored actually has a pretty good kick compared to spicy at other Tii Cup. Recommend the tofu, garlic green beans, and salt and pepper shrimp. Fun drink menu, pretty good variety to pick from. Cocktails are nice and strong. The shots are good as well and feels like mini versions of some of the cocktails.

Had to come back and brought family! This is a great place for their cute upstairs bar and super flavorful and interesting drinks! One of my favorite places to go now!

This is a darling little speakeasy on the upper floor of a Boba restaurant. The drinks are fantastic and very unusual with many different varieties to please any pallet. Our wait staff was excellent. The music was out of this world.

Date night at L2 Too Cup is always a vibe! They have a Date Night Tuesday special $20 for any 2 cocktails and $10 for 2 select street foods. Such a steal! I got the spicy popcorn chicken, crispy calamari, and green beans all so delicious. The Vietcontini is always my go-to (lowkey addicted), and the ube drink is a must. Service is always on point, and the rooftop is perfect for a chill evening out. Definitely one of my favorite Uptown spots!

I love coming here, I've visited twice now and the drinks are delicious especially the lychee lemon drop and the guava melon mezcalrita. The salt and pepper shrimp are my fav and when we visited for karaoke night I had such a wonderful time. The service is super friendly here and the wait isn't too long. Great music and great vibes and we utilized paid street parking. My husband also enjoyed his drink and popcorn chicken bowl. We're already planning our next night out here!

Stopped here after telling a couple friends about it. One thing to note, double check the hours, maybe even call, as we were a little early and had to wait about 20 minutes. After we were able to belly up, everyone seemed pleased with their cocktails. They are different spins on classics and some fun inventive drinks to try as well. I had a passionfruit drink with boba and it was excllent. Can't wait to come back!

If you've never been to L2 Tii Cup you've got some catching up to do!!! This Local Bubble tea shop/speakeasy is one of my favorite places in the cities. To get to the speakeasy go thru the door on the left side of the bubble tea counter. You'll enter a small hall space with a red-lit staircase. Upstairs feels like a chic lounge area in summer there's an outdoor patio. I love the idea of spiked bubble tea! It's the best of both worlds. I've had the Ube-bae, the viet-tini and the mojito, all have been amazing I love the mojito with strawberry popping boba mint and a nice dark rum. The food menu shouldn't be missed! Curry Popcorn chicken is a fav of mine with sticks that makes it feel like a true street food delight! I loved the shrimp and decided to do the upgrade to a bowl which came with rice and pickled vegetables. I also ordered a side of the Thai cilantro aioli. The dishes were so flavorful didn't need it but it's such a delicious addition couldn't help it. Only complaint is the shrimp wasn't cleaned out. Usually I dont order full shrimp with head and legs tho but this was has such a good flavor!! Service was great too and loved all the recommendations we received.

I've always loved Tii cup so I was very excited to try their speak easy. The area isn't great for parking cause you basically have to drive around and find street parking. I didnt make reservations, just walked in but it was kind of busy when I went. Staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations for food and drinks. The drinks were a little different than normal cocktails so I definitely asked questions. Ended up getting wings and a few drinks. I enjoyed everything I got there and will definitely be going back to try more of the food!

Yesterday was my first visit, and I was not disappointed. First of all, a lot of work went into creating a real cocktail lounge atmosphere without making you feel as though you need to dress up to impress; it's still a laid-back setting. If you can, enjoy your cocktails on the rooftop terrace in Minneapolis, which is quickly becoming a destination for rooftop parties. Uptown has been lacking that. Our server was friendly and gave us useful information to aid in our decision-making, therefore the service was excellent. It's funny because I had already had pandan earlier that day. I'm eager to return and sample more of their delectable beverages.

I've been dying to check this place out! It looked even cooler than I expected! Definitely a "speakeasy" vibe. It was busy on a Friday night around 9, but we got a table for 3 in 15 minutes or less! The seats are comfy and the bar looked great to sit at too! The servers were friendly! They did forget a few things for us, but again the place was packed, so I forgive them haha. The drinks were stronger than I expected! Some I wanted to be sweeter haha, but overall the menu is so unique and the drinks did taste good! We had the popcorn chicken too, a must! There's free neighborhood street parking a block or so away. If you see this post before Jan 1 2025 - they have an online gift card sale right now. Get $100 and only pay $65! Prices were reasonable for the ambiance ($10-$16). I will be back with visiting guests!! :)

I found this place from a Yelp event and feel like I discovered a hidden gem. They have HH and the drinks are worth it with the small bites! Loved the upstairs speakeasy feel and the music is on point! Street parking isn't too bad! Would recommend such a vibe.

My spouse and I split a Caesar Salad. She ordered the Crispy Tuna Tacos which are always fantastic. I devoured the Blackened Shrimp. The dish had a piquancy that added the perfect amount of kick. I loved it. With jazz on Wednesday evenings and unique menu specials, the Waterbury will grow sick of my face. It's a great restaurant.

We ordered the chicken that was on the menu and it was a very small piece of chicken and it was supposed to come with broccolini and there was three skinny little stalks, and there was some kind of purée underneath it. Not sure if that was potatoes or what, but the chicken had a very good flavor. It was just very small. That's my complaint on that so we ended up ordering the sweet potato fries and that was a good portion and very good. I would definitely order those again. We had a reservation but the host seemed to struggle to find it, almost even questioning the validity of it even though I showed her proof they texted confirmation. Thankfully they gave us a table right away anyways. The restaurant is attached to a theatre so it gets really busy prior to showtimes and the service becomes slow or non existent. At one point it even seemed that they forgot about us and the manger noticed so she made sure to get our food to us. The server later apologized and was very kind but I couldn't help but notice she took the time to chit chat with coworkers while we waited. When the theatre performance started it loudly traveled into the restaraunt through the walls. While it didn't bother me I can see how this may bother others. I'm actually glad we went because we learned about the theatre and would like to attend a show sometime. I just wouldn't recommend going to the restaraunt unless you are seeing a show there.

Nightingale was packed, but fortunately, once two patrons saw my face from the bar, they quickly paid their bill and left. My face often compels people to vacate crowded establishments in Minneapolis, and we often find seats. After grabbing the two seats, we ordered wine and a wonderful Amaro-based cocktail. Jules was our bartender/server, and although he was crazy busy, he found time to be gracious to us. We ordered the meatball appetizer, halibut, and the Nightingale hamburger. My halibut was sublime, cooked perfectly, and it wasn't drowned in sauce. Bravo! The meatballs were tender and delicious, but the hamburger was not memorable. It was good, not great. Despite all the accolades above, when the bill came, I was charged two dollars after requesting a cucumber slice for my Pimms Cup. Perhaps the source of this pettiness came from the kitchen, but it wasn't smart, because the $2.00 charge placed a shroud over my experience. The bill was $125, and because of the petty two-buck charge, I only left a $25 tip. I was going to leave a $30 tip. I will sadly remember those 2 bucks forever. It was a myopic move and a passive-aggressive way to handle my request. In my birthplace home of NYC, a bartender would have said, "Getting a cucumber slice is a pain in the rear, would you mind skipping it?" My response, "Sure, it's not a big deal."

The service was genuinely friendly and pleasant throughout our visit, which went a long way. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. I tried the NY Strip special, which was fine but nothing memorable - exactly what you'd expect, no more, no less. The oysters were disappointing for the price point; the quality just wasn't there. The mushroom bruschetta similarly underwhelmed - it felt like it was missing something to make it stand out. The bright spot? The drinks were solid and well-crafted. I wanted to rate this higher based on the atmosphere and service alone, but at the end of the day, the food has to deliver. With so many great options in Minneapolis, Nightingale needs to step up its culinary game to match its lovely setting. I'd consider returning for drinks, but probably not for dinner.
