Loved the quirky coffee shop aesthetic here. The maximalism makes it cozy and perfect to work on a laptop or meet friends. It also seems like a great venue for live music they have sometimes. The coffee menu was basic and I didn't notice any house specials, but their espresso was good. There's a big parking lot for easy parking.

Love the space and vibe. This would be a great place to read, telework, or hangout for a bit. Unfortunately the food and drinks that I tried were not good, and I wasn't able to finish them. The tempeh bahn mi had no flavor and was just a wrap with what seemed to be steamed unseasoned tempeh. The ice tea I got was also flavorless. Maybe the breakfast foods are better, but I'm not sure I would come back since there are other coffee shops that I could go to instead.

Cozy, eclectic and welcoming atmosphere paired with delicious food and drink offerings make Mojo one of my top coffee shops in the twin cities. Highly recommend!

My twenty-something daughter and I stopped in for a coffee and quick bite before checking out the art galleries in the CA bldg. Parking was easy and we had no trouble finding a table on a Sunday morning. A person played live, original music which added to the experience. MCG has a patio which I am sure is packed in the summertime. Nevertheless, the interior is fun and eclectic enough to hold your attention until your coffee has whirled its last lap around the cereal bowl sized mug it came in. The people watching was great and our food was exceptional, definitely exceeding expectations. I would definitely go back again for the coffee, the food or even just to hang out.

Great food and coffee. Enjoyed the ambiance, service and a great small patio area for our dog to enjoy with us!

Obsessed. Such a funky place with amazing art and even live music on the weekends. So many unique things about this place, such as the walls lined with beautiful pottery and the hand drawn table cards. They have lemonade on top of their coffee, which is nice for a warm day. The lavender honey latte was amazing. Lots of seating, but not many outlets. They do have a patio! So cute. I'll definitely be back this summer!

Wow! One thing that everyone needs in a city is a favorite coffee shop...for those in MSP-- this should be your place! While let me see that it is in the middle of nowhere , Miguel is a fantastic place for coffee lovers an artist artist alike. They have an extensive menu and their seasonal drinks are great... I got an apple pie chai with a shot of espresso and it was a 10/10. The inside vibe is awesome as the owner purchases art from local artist and there is a great collection that you can enjoy while waiting for your coffee or sitting at one of the many seats . This seems like a great place to study, as there is Wi-Fi and plenty of seats with outlets. Special shout out to the barista "V" - he had great recommendations, and was able to adjust the drink, exactly to my liking without even having to remake any drink!

Super cool shop. Dim, decorated, and relaxing. Art work for sale on the wall. Quick service. Cold brew was good. Not too light, not too dark. Patio has beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed our time here!

The chai there is different than most places - not as milk heavy and has thus interesting fruity undertone that almost reminds me of apple cider. Pretty good but definitely not what I was expecting. The next time I got the toffee latte and that was decent, nothing exceptional about it though. The food, though, is incredible and that's why I give this place five stars. I got the white bean chicken chili and it was delicious and at an amazing price point ($6.75 a bowl) for something that filled me up enough as a lunch. My friend got their Spanish hash and it was so flavorful and delicious. I think about going back for their food multiple times this past week. Also, great vibes. There is pottery everywhere and that's pretty incredible. Very comfy attitude about the place, and there was a good mix of people doing work and hanging out and having conversation. Maybe on the loud side for a work meeting but bit overwhelming level of background noise. Will say had a bit of trouble finding outlets for tables in the middle, and the chairs are definitely on the older side but overall not a bad place to get work done. Always appreciate a parking lot as well

Food was a flop 1 out of 10 potatoes raw an tasted awful like they were left out wet overnight for 3 weeks and the rosemary is the only seasoning they use eggs were under cooked , cashier was kind tho

I opted to try this place out in efforts to continue my coffee tour of the cities. I ordered a Miel and a breakfast sandwich. I must have still been groggy and not clear because the sandwich was brought out on a plate. I must have missed the dine in part as I was not asked and just assumed it was automatically going to be to go. After my bit of surprise I settled and took the time to take in this place. The shop is filled with art from artists of a multitude of styles. The food was tasty and I was self very happy and content. Sitting alone there was so much to look at while you dined. Normally I don't seek out places like this, but it was fun to experience.

Good lighting and not too loud. They have all of the usual coffee options as well as several of their own concoctions. They have pastries as well as more hearty options like breakfast burritos, although when we went they were out of burritos, probably because we were there so late. They have several gluten free items, and vegan items. It looks like everything that can be sourced locally is local, and they have the providers listed on the menu. They are obviously very socially and environmentally conscious. The servers were very friendly. I had a cold press with cream which was excellent, exactly what I hoped it would be, good coffee flavor. Next time I would probably ask for less cream, but it is real cream. I also had the morning bun which was very good. It was like a cinnamon roll that was also rolled in cinnamon and sugar on the outside. My partner had a red eye which was dark roast and espresso with cream. He liked it very much. He also had a ham and cheese croissant and an apple fritter, both of which were very good. Parking is street parking which wasn't a problem when we were there but may be a problem at busier times. The interior is handicapped friendly, but again parking could be an issue. We loved it and will definitely be back.

There was only one person ahead of me, which gave me just enough time to peruse the menu on the wall, figure out where the WiFi password was listed, and break down my will enough to order that gorgeous-looking apple fritter at the top of the bakery shelf. The barista quickly assembled my large maple latte in an orange-yellow mug with that apple fritter that was calling my name, plus a large breakfast burrito. The burrito was more like an enclosed panini with sides of salsa and sour cream. While I ate 2/3rds of it, I cannot say that I enjoyed it all that much, especially for the $13 price. On the other hand, the maple latte and apple fritter were divine, if a little over-priced (although, what isn't, nowadays?). The power and Internet for the neighborhood just went out in the middle of this review, so I'm finishing through my phone hot-spot and will head on my way!

The soaring industrial ceilings, massive windows pouring in natural light, dark wood shelving, plants everywhere, books, artwork, vintage decor, and incredible lighting somehow make the whole place feel both grand and peaceful. It's the kind of space where you immediately want to cancel your plans and spend the entire afternoon reading, working, or simply existing. Every direction you look feels thoughtfully designed. One thing I couldn't find online beforehand was whether there would be places to plug in my laptop. Thankfully, there are plenty of outlets, making it a fantastic place to work. Even better, despite its size, the atmosphere stays calm and quiet. It never felt loud or chaotic. The drinks were excellent. I tried the Lime Creamsicle Iced Matcha and later ordered a hot matcha, complete with a beautiful heart poured into the milk. I especially appreciated that they use what tasted like genuine, high-quality matcha rather than the overly sweet, filler-heavy mixes that so many coffee shops rely on. You can absolutely taste the difference. I also picked up two pastries: an artichoke and cheese croissant (I think it was Gouda?) and the coffee cake. Both were delicious, but that coffee cake deserves its own paragraph. It was huge, incredibly moist and rich, and served in a large paper liner almost like an oversized cupcake. I'd happily go back just for that. If I had one wish, it would simply be for the menu to match the creativity of the space. The coffee, tea, and espresso selections felt a bit limited considering how unique everything else is. This seems like the perfect place to experiment with fun specialty drinks and elevated touches. Imagine pink peppercorn on a cortado, mint dust on a cappuccino, unique flavored cold foams, rotating seasonal teas, or other creative finishes. The environment practically begs for a menu that's just as imaginative. The staff interaction was fine but didn't really stand out. When I asked whether they recommended the Lime Creamsicle Matcha, the response was basically, "I mean... it tastes like a lime creamsicle." It wasn't unfriendly, just not especially engaging. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but between the stunning atmosphere, quality ingredients, and excellent pastries, I'd happily return. Backstory isn't just somewhere to grab coffee. It's somewhere you want to linger. If you're looking for one of the most beautiful, calming coffee shops in Minneapolis, this belongs at the top of your list.
