I have been back numerous times to try their vast menu of waffle choices and coffee. The small cafe is always bustling with visitors on the weekend - if you are looking to dine in, arrive early or be prepared to wait for a seat. I highly recommend for anyone to check out! I've now come into this cafe twice and have had good experiences. Definitely gives off more hometown coffee shop vibes than a lot of the more upscale / clean cut coffee shops more in the cities. Great customer service with a super friendly barista who asked me about the t-shirt I was wearing. I had to try the Butterbeer nitro because it was recommended by so many people. It is delicious, but a little too sweet for my taste--although I did finish it in about 10 minutes. Ha! I am bummed that I already ate breakfast because the waffles look incredible. While I was sitting here, I saw about six or seven different ones go by me. I will definitely be coming back with my kids for the waffles next time. We stopped here on our way to Lakeville and let me just say this loud and clear. If you read nothing else, read this part. The butterbeer nitro cold brew is it. Like 12 out of 10. No notes. If I lived in Minnesota I'd be here way too often and absolutely not mad about it. The Cuban was solid too, but honestly if you're only getting one thing, make it the butterbeer. You'll thank me later. We didn't hang around long enough to soak up the ambiance since we just grabbed and went, but service was fast and the staff was super friendly. I did see a bunch of people eating and chilling, so it definitely seems like a local favorite kind of spot. Already sad I live too far to make this my regular coffee stop. read more

My wife has heard a lot about this small cafe and we drive by it a lot so we decided to go on a brunch excursion one Monday morning to check it out. This place is known for their unique waffles creations and they really run with it, the menu has so many waffles to choose from - sweet, savory, fruity, etc. There has to be close to a hundred different options. Our table ordered a couple different ones to get a good feel for the menu. We also tried their coffee and espresso drinks since it was a coffee shop as well. Coffee was good, they roast their own beans and you can taste the quality, the Guatemalan roast they had on tap was very good. The show stopper was the waffles though. They were pretty amazing. Not only were they topped high with yummy ingredients, the waffle itself was done to perfection - golden tan and crispy on the outside but fluffy and chewy on the inside. My dad exclaimed he never had a better waffle in his life. The owner was super friendly and chatted with us while we waited for our waffles, even showing us pictures of his grand kids. Every person that walked through that door, the guy knew their name. It reminded us of a small town coffee shop, where everyone knows everyone and they are all happy to be there. I would not recommend this place at all. While they have an extensive menu, they just can't support it. We went on a Saturday morning & it was pretty quiet. The entire staff seemed annoyed & angry to assist from the ordering to the food delivery. The food was very reasonably priced but not worth a return trip. We did the blueberry lemon dream waffle, the Nutella waffle, egg bowl, side of bacon, & the butter beer cold brews. The waffles were so loaded with lemon curd & Nutella, most needed to be scraped off. Being a waffle place, it was odd to have to specially request a knife & syrup. The egg bowl was Mexican style & had jalapeños, which we both love. However there was so much juice from the canned jalapeños the bowl was inedible. It also looked like it was microwaved in the bowl, so presentation was not there either. The side of bacon never arrived. The butter beer cold brew was so loaded with syrup, I didn't drink more than two sips. The atmosphere of the place is a bit chaotic & disorganized. A great place to get some work done. There's a lot of seating and outlets scattered about, as well as fast wifi and a bathroom. The service is also friendly! I ordered the Cinnamon Hot Chocolate Waffle and an Iced Chai Latte with almond milk. The waffle was huge and I didn't end up finishing it. Sound does bounce around a little so it can get a bit noisy, but it had its lulls during the time I was there. read more

Today we tried for Buzz coffee & cafe and I was surprised how big the menu is they offer. They have so many waffle combinations to chose from and several other hot and cold breakfast options (to name just a few eggs, bacon, pastries). I ordered the iced vanilla latte half caf and the Chocolate Delight! I told the barista to surprise me out of a few I named and it did not disappoint! There is plenty of parking out front as the cafe is connected to other businesses. There are a good amount of tables inside but it can fill up! The only reason I gave it 4/5 star is that I feel the interior could be better decorated or the space could be made more comfortable for a coffee shop. The service is just as sweet as the waffles! The ambiance of this space is cheerful while gray. I will say I wish there was more color, or more art present because the gray doesn't match the vibes. I had a large latte and prices were similar to most coffee shops. Coffee was good, nice and hot. Parking was easy. Service was friendly and efficient. Buzz was so good for so long, but sadly it just hasn't been lately! I'm bummed because I really like supporting a small coffee shop, but it's just not the same as it once was. First, the inside is just... dirty. The floors look scuzzy, the tables are sticky, and everything is just a little *too* broken in. It used to be cute and cozy and now it's just a bit sad. Second, they are still connected to a Cigar shop where people smoke cigars inside. Unfortunately, the smell of smoke carries over to Buzz. When I waited for my to go order I was so glad I was wearing a mask because the smell was so strong. I left feeling like I had to shower to get the smell off of me. I tried the White Almond Mocha, one of their featured drinks. The barista said it was "sweet but not too sweet"... it was literally the sweetest "coffee" I have ever had. I drank about half and threw the rest away. The food is good and why I keep coming back. They have TONS of options for gluten free and vegan eaters. I love the variety of gluten free waffles available. The brown sugar bacon waffle is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The fruity pebbles waffle is fun and fruity too. The whip cream on top tasted like the kind that comes out of a can. I was hoping for fresh whipped cream. The berries were warm. I like cool, fresh berries on my waffle. Others may prefer differently. They had a ton of different options for waffles! I would try a different kind. I should've asked which was the most popular! I also got an iced mocha and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a cappuccino with Irish cream and caramel flavoring and said it was great. Seating was tough to find but the vibes were comfortable. **Coronavirus Update** I haven't been doing a lot of take out in these Stay at Home times but I really wanted a waffle and to support a local place. I called Buzz to verify they were doing takeout and they were so amazing and supportive. When my order was ready I went in to swipe my card and they offered to bring my food out to my car. The father/daughter duo are working hard to stay in business and I'm so happy to do my little part to help! **** I've been to the Buzz twice now and didn't think it was possible to have a BETTER waffle than my first visit but it just happened! On my first trip I had a Chocolate chip waffle with bananas, PB and honey on top (I combined two waffles and they had no problem and didn't charge extra). It was awesome and I'm sharing pics from both trips here. My second trip I had the Bacon/Jalepeno Waffle and it was even better! I am a huge peanut butter fan but man, something about the salty bacon, juicy and spicy jalapeños and the sweet maple syrup was unbeatable! The icing on the cake is that A) they also have REALLY good coffee and espresso drinks and B) if you go on Wednesdays the waffles are half price!
