Blueberry pancakes

Recently got a quick to go order here and really enjoyed it! I have visited this location a handful of times in person and noticed the takeout is just as good. I placed an online order and liked how many modifications options that were offered. They really have every substitution option you could need. The order was ready at the estimated time and was an easy pickup. My favorite menu items are the hash browns and bacon. Both come out crispy and are delicious!

This was our go to breakfast spot when we lived in Minnesota. There are so many options. You can have all of your faves but then you have some healthier options like buck wheat pancakes, turkey sausage or chicken sausage. The service was great. They were busy but the food came quickly

One of the best breakfast spots in the suburbs! The Burnsville location is tucked away off the main road by the hotels. There is plenty of free parking in a private lot. The restaurant is spacious and bright. Even though there's tons of seating, spots fill up fast! I came around 9am on a Saturday and was seated right away, but by 10am the entry room was full of people waiting for a table. -- The Northwoods Hashbrowns are absolutely delicious if you're craving a savory breakfast. The portion is huge and can easily be shared. The default hashbrowns are on the softer side, so I like to ask for it extra crispy so you get a better bite. It has the perfect amount of spice from the jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. -- The 49er Flapjacks are like the denser cousin of the crepe. The texture is so velvety and the butter just glides on. Absolutely delicious when it's smothered in butter and syrup. The 49ers are thin but they take up the entire plate, so it's still quite a bit of food. -- The cinnamon roll pancakes are arguably better than a standard cinnamon roll. It's the flavor of a cinnamon roll with the moist fluffy texture of a pancake. They do not skimp out on the cinnamon sugar filling or the maple cream cheese frosting. -- The cold brew is nice if you're looking for an iced coffee option, but it does taste a little watered down. It does not come with any refills. -- The thick sliced bacon is around 1/4 inch thick and is flavorful. You can ask them to cook it to your desired crispiness level.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostesses greeted us. We checked in, and they added us to the list and said we would receive a text when they had a table for us. After waiting around 20 to 25 minutes, we were brought to our table. A Hispanic gentleman took us to our table. He was very helpful and friendly. Our server Terri came by and said she would be with us momentarily. She came by shortly after introduced herself and took our drink orders. After a bit, Terri returned and took our food order. I ordered the Chorizo Skillet with no tomatoes and no chorizo substitute turkey sausage with a side of wheat toast not pictured. We started eating our food and I noticed it didn't have a lot of turkey sausage in it at all. It had so many onions that it overpowered the skillet. Also, the turkey sausage was not cut right so a lot of the pieces were half and three-quarter turkey links. My wife ordered the Northwood hash, and she said it wasn't flavorful at all so we asked Terri for hollandaise sauce to try to make it better and it helped a bit but not good enough to try again. The service from the door to the table was perfect, but the food missed its mark, so much so that we might not go back to that location again. On another note, we did like how this Original Pancake House seemed newer and the decor was a lot nicer than others we've visited prior.

Western omelet so good with pancakes

OPH is our definition of comfort food - always fresh, always delicious, always consistently friendly service. We also love the Nordic feel of the Burnsville restaurant - lots of windows, pine wood and fun wallpaper. Our favorite is to sit at the breakfast bar, enjoying pancakes, watching sports and solving spelling bee. And that's exactly what we did today! :))

Original Pancake House never misses! I love to get their Northwoods hash - it is hash browns topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, red peppers, chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and jalapeños. It is very savory and has a little bit of a kick. The 49er pancakes are its own dish but I like to have them as a substitute side to the Northwoods hash. The 49ers are really thin pancakes that are absolutely delicious with their maple syrup. One of the better breakfast places in the metro. I often get the food to go - the inside is nice, spacious, and clean with a comfortable atmosphere. When I have eaten in person the staff have always been friendly.

Lisa was a wonderful server, I have no idea what kind of money she is making, but she deserves a raise! We came on a Saturday morning and only waited 25 minutes for our 3 person table, despite it being very busy. The food was delicious and came very quickly. The ambience at this OPH is also cuter than the one in Eden Prairie.

Always a 10/10! I absolutely love the blueberry pancakes with warm syrup. Get there early as they fill up quick

Service was great the food was amazing! We visited from Omaha, and we would definitely go back because of how delicious it was. The portions where good size you will not leave hungry! I had the ham and cheddar crepe and instead of fresh fruit I substituted hash browns for a up-charge. Make sure you go online before you go and get on the waitlist. Otherwise you will have a long wait.

Allow yourself a little breakfast sin at Perk Up Kitchen…read more It's important to have a favorite breakfast joint in the place(s) you reside and I think we found ours! The interior and exterior vibe are cool and inviting but it's the menu that really makes breakfast here a special experience. Each item is a little work of art in flavor, creativity, visual appeal, and the trendy/classic balance. Let's talk some of these menu items that impressed. Any good breakfast starts with good coffee and juice. The coffee is great and the orange juice is obviously fresh squeezed - the bright flavor that greets your mouth first sip proves it. We chose a variety of different kinds of items. I went sweet with the Strawberry Cornbread waffle. The flavors were a taste of strawberry heaven with its fresh strawberries PLUS a syrupy compote, honey butter and whipped cream. My husband likes to go hearty with layered potato and egg dishes so he went the distance and got the Breakfast Poutine. Layers of goodness in every forkful. What really ties this one together is the white sausage gravy. My kids always choose pancakes but a shout out to the scotch square accompaniment to the kids meal. A little stolen nibble reminded me of when my grandma used to melt butterscotch chips for recipes when I was a kid. Nice touch for kids and their parents reaching across their plates. I would rank this even higher than the bougie, high priced breakfast joints back home (which are struggling to prove their value for me these days). The food here gets you that more approachable decadence without making your eyes completely pop out of your head come check-time.

(Note: While I originally composed this in my own voice, I did has AI to edit for clarity and flow…read more - thanks Paul J) I discovered this gluten-free gem after reading a recommendation on Facebook, and at first glance it felt like a dream come true for those navigating a gluten-free diet. The service was excellent from start to finish. Guests are assigned a table number upon arrival, place their order at the coffee bar, and then return to their table while food runners deliver drinks and meals. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and eager to answer questions. One surprise was the pricing. An iced tea cost $4.50, and it was unclear whether refills were available. For two people, a crispy chicken sandwich with bacon, chicken and waffles, and beverages came to approximately $70 after tip and applying accumulated Toast rewards. While the food quality was good, the overall cost makes this more of an occasional treat than a regular brunch destination for budget-conscious diners. As for the food itself, my chicken and waffles were delicious. The waffle was light, fluffy, and flavorful. Guests should note that coconut is used in many of the bakery items and baked goods. The crispy chicken was equally enjoyable, although I found it slightly on the salty side. My dining companion felt the breading on his chicken was a bit oilier than he preferred. The restaurant offers a bright, welcoming atmosphere with comfortable seating. However, the noise level was somewhat elevated during our visit, making conversation a little challenging at times. Of course, I couldn't resist spending some time at the bakery counter. While the bakery items are certainly not inexpensive, I found them competitively priced compared to some higher-end grocery stores in the Twin Cities that sell mass-produced gluten-free products at premium prices. Would I recommend Olivia's? Absolutely. The food is high quality, the staff is exceptional, and the gluten-free options are a welcome find. Just be prepared for the cost. For many diners, Olivia's may be best enjoyed as an occasional brunch splurge rather than an everyday destination.

I replied your website says 3:00. They have a 2 for $12 special with assorted salads, a couple half sandwiches, soup and 1/2 flatbreads. Parking is a challenge. The restaurant's parking lot is much too small for a restaurant of this size, and because it's backed up against hotels, finding a spot meant parking farther away. I ordered the Carolina Summer Risotto (GF) for $21.95 because I love a good risotto, and with very limited gluten-free options, this seemed like the best choice. The menu describes it as saffron risotto with Cajun shrimp, tomato, asparagus, zucchini, squash, arugula, and lemon. What I received was a very small scoop--maybe 1/2 cup--of what tasted more like yellow, sticky rice with shrimp. There was no asparagus at all, and only a couple of small pieces of zucchini and squash cut into tiny chunks. It looked nothing like the photo on the menu. For nearly $22, I expected a much more substantial portion--not something that looked like a food-truck serving in a paper cup from the fair. My daughter ordered the 6-piece chicken strips with fries for $17, and thankfully, those were much better and very generous in portions. The chicken was very moist and, in her opinion, worth the price. The atmosphere was another issue. It was extremely loud, almost to the point where it was difficult to hear the person sitting across from you--even though the restaurant wasn't full. The waitstaff was friendly, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, the 'okay' entree food, portion size, noise level, and parking issues outweighed the positives.
