I went here with a friend, and at first glance the location felt a bit desolate and tucked into an unexpected strip mall. However, once inside, the space completely changed my impression. The interior was welcoming, with a fun, casual vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy being there. The layout felt open and relaxed, making it a great spot to hang out. I was waiting for my daughter to get done with her appointment and drove to a coffee shop nearby. This cafe is cute, they offer ice-cream, sandwich, and drinks. They also sell coffee and tea, snacks, and merchandise. Cafe is a good size, plenty of room to dine in. Order at the counter and the girls will call your name once the order is ready. I visit CTC for pastries and a Latte. The establishment has so much more. You can purchase coffee beans, soap, and mugs from local vendors. The ambiance is absolutely inviting and so very cozy. Sit down and take it easy. The service is spot on! They are so incredibly friendly every time I visit this delightful establishment. I love them! Everyone! Sure it's a little cluttered with all the menus and signs inside, but that's just because there's so many different options to choose from! We went specifically for specialty espresso drinks. I do not think I've been to a coffee shop with such a wide variety! They truly have any kind of coffee syrup or sauce you can desire. If it's not on the menu, I'm sure you can ask if it's possible to make. I recently went to a different small coffee shop in the area and paid almost $7 for a large "mocha latte" because a regular mocha was not on the menu. At Coffee Ta Cream, I was having a hard time deciding between which type of mocha I wanted because there were so many varieties! But the biggest draw for this place is the great prices. Everyone else is raising their prices at the moment, so it was nice to feel like I'm not limited to getting a small, or avoiding getting extra sauces etc. I feel like I can come here quite often rather than treating myself on rare occasions. Two out of three coffee drinks were really good and I won't hold the third one against them. My daughter ordered a "Fruit Loop Latte" it was blue, like I said not holing that against them. Breakfast burrito's and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were also good. We enjoyed this much better than the food at Mystic Lake for a fraction of the price. Also gabbed a few pieces of banana bread to bring back to the room. Definitely worth the visit. read more

The owner is amazing, he is such a very nice guy. The food is great with great pricies on the food. The ice cream is great, very yummy. And he has the Sebastian Joe's ice cream from Mpls which is great I don't have to drive always downtown to get it. It's a bit expensive but it is very yummy. And the atmosphere is great it's our little treat to ourselves. Always nice to walk in and see a smiling face, you will get that here. read more

When I walked in I was confused about what I can order at first. There is a few things on a paper menu, then there is another menu on wall for coffee, then another for ice cream and another menu with pizza and burgers. I don't know what to think of this place. This business does lack focus for example I can also buy potato bags, water bottles, candles, cheap jewelry post cards! Anyway I didn't find the food to be that great it wasn't horrible or anything but I'm not sure why I would ever want to stop here to eat and stare at the odd assortment I can purchase. read more

Not really a coffee or ice cream person, but everyone was as expected. Nothing spectacular. I had a coffee. Service was very slow, and the place seemed to be understaffed and unable to deal with the line of people. My guess is their traffic is very spurty, so it's difficult to pay more than one person to man the place at a time. It also doesn't help that it's in a ghost town of a mall. If you're looking for a quick coffee before a movie, make sure you have enough time to wait 20 minutes. read more

I get the standard (Kemp's) ice cream. Can't tell any difference for the way overpriced Sebastian Joe Ice Cream. Good Coffee free refills. Crowd is a mixture of teeny boppers and some family people. The owner is very business customer orientated. I read one review and agree that they have a lot of off the wall items for sale. Mugs and assorted items that really don't fit it but does not bother me either way. Never tried the food but the soup looked pretty good. CTC has the best burgers in Shakopee! The bacon burger with cheese is awesome. I get it every time I go there. Add a milk shake to your order and you are good to go. I haven't tried any of the other items there, but I bet they are just as good. The service is friendly and the pricing is competitive. read more
