Really clean restaurant and bar! Very friendly service and the menu looks amazing. Unfortunately we just stopped in for a drink during happy hour. But I'll be back to try some of the amazing sounding choices in the menu. The prices seem very reasonable. Most impressive- the sparkling clean bathrooms!

Came here because we had the drink passport and we wanted to give it a try. I've heard that their pizza is their claim to fame but we weren't in the mood for pizza so we both chose burgers. The food was decent. Except for the garlic cheese sauce that I added to my fries. That was very "sysco can" feeling and it wasn't very good. she really liked her beer and I really liked the sour I got, it was almost like a smoothie. We were basically the only people in the place and our server kind of acted like she was annoyed she had to serve us, but the service was good despite that. The place feels a little run down, older carpets, ceiling slightly discolored, and kind of a weird table set up throughout the place. While we weren't over the moon with our food, I think we'll come back again and try the pizza!

Turtles is a staple for playing bar games! We've ate here multiple times too & it's always good. They have beer specials often & always have a good crowd of people for a night out!

Stopped by turtles for a drink and dessert and really enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the ice cream Sunday and it was a huge portion and reasonably priced. It hit the spot on a warm summer night. Plenty of seating available inside and a nice patio space outside. There is free street parking all around. Our server was very nice and checked in on us often even though we only had a couple beers and the ice cream. Great little local place!

We usually get Turtles takeout when we are enjoying a beer at Shakopee Brewhall just down the street. The last time I ordered Turtles, I was having difficulty using their online app (prob user error) but since it's right next door, I just walked in and ordered. We got a pepperoni pizza. Not sure if they make the pizzas homemade there but it was pretty good. Great patio diving. They even walked out order out to the patio for us.

Nice after work place HH specials are quite nice Good for the beer geeks While this is not the best beer bar in the Twin Cities, it is definitely in the first tier and maybe as high as number two overall. They have 27 on tap I think and most or all of them rotate to something new once they tap the keg. They are Untappd verified and have a board and a badge. The trifecta! This place is a little off my beaten path, but it is not too far of a drive from work. For out of towners, it is close to Valleyfair, Canterbury Downs and Mystic Lake Casino. Easy to get in and out for happy hour for under twenty bucks and be pleasantly full. Their pizzas are super cheesy and super good. I had the chicken strips tonight which were solid - whole lot of meat. Give it a whirl. It's slightly divey, but not that deep.

We were in town for a tournament and wanted to try a local place. When you first walk in it smells like wet dog. We were here on a Sunday around 11 and it's very apparent that they did not clean the night before. The carpet has food and napkins and the booth was disgusting. Food was mediocre and the buns on the burgers were twice the size. I gave it a 3 just cuz I feel bad and service was good.

Continually amazing!…read more We stopped in here the other night for the tried and true fish and chips. O'Brien's Public House always has some of the best fish... however you like it. My husband got the fish tacos for the first time and loved them.. It was a really healthy portion and even had some leftovers. I stuck with my favorite, the cod & chips, these are always amazing! Our server was very friendly and it was a pretty slow night but great service overall. Can't wait to stop back again and enjoy even more food!

I live in Shakopee and have gone to this pub many times. the food is o.k. not wonderful but…read moreadequate. However today has caused me to give O'Brien's one star and believe me if it were possible I'd give them -1. I was supposed to meet six of my friends here today for St Patrick's Day. Our car got struck and we did not arrive until 1 1/2 hours late. We were so late that we would have just had a drink had we known there was a time limit on the table BUT our waitress, Addison 8, did not mention this and took our meal order leisurely. Just after we were served she announced to the table that we all had to leave in 15 minutes. I said I assumed it did not apply to us as we had not even started to eat. she told us it applied to all of us. She told us if I was not happy about this I could speak to the Manager. I told her I would like to. then she said I could speak to her instead but I told her I wanted to speak to the Manager. No Manager ever materialized. I probably will never go to this restaurant again. I know times are tough and I don't object to time limits on tables BUT if a customer is very late the least a server should do is let them know there is a very limited time left for them to eat BEFORE they order $70 worth of food and drinks. I will be sure to mention this matter to my friends and as I have stated i will make sure I give my other regular restaurants the business I gave O'Briens. '

Every time I leave Crooked Pint, I just end up feeling... unsatisfied. It's not bad, but the food always seems to be missing that extra kick of flavor. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Mad Pepper Juicy Lucy, expecting something spicy but instead, it was completely mild and kind of bland. To make matters worse, the service was pretty slow and our server didn't seem very attentive. If you're just looking to grab a drink and maybe an appetizer during happy hour, it's fine for that. But if you're after a meal that really hits the spot, I'd say there are better options nearby.

They also have a wedding venue and curling arena attached so it is pretty busy every time but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Food: I got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. I would say 4/5 for those, they were good I wish there was more bacon but the tot was stuffed with green onion and cheese then it came with queso and bacon on top. I would get them again. As my meal I got the lobster melt and it wasn't my favorite it didn't have as much cheese as I would want and felt like it lacked flavor. I think it would have been better with onions or like a sauce to dip it in. Service: it was a packed Saturday night but our server was attentive and very nice!

Huge fan of this restaurant! Our server was attentive and extremely kind…read more We started with the wontons and deviled eggs (we ate them too quickly to get pictures) and they were to die for. We also ordered some drinks (You're My Boy Blue & the Rhubarb/Ginger Gin Fizz). Both were a perfect balance of refreshing and fruity. I ordered the brisket mac & cheese (pictured) and was immediately in love. Truly the definition of comfort food. As it was my birthday, we were able to finish off the meal with a slice of rainbow cake. We will definitely be back, as there are so many things we didn't get this time that we want to try

We ordered the Candied Bacon flight to share; the menu listed the bacon flight flavors (whiskey jalapeño BBQ, roasted chile brown sugar, honey mustard, 4-pepper blend) and the 8 large, thick slices looked inviting but we had no idea which pieces were which flavor. *Management Suggestion: Get little toothpicks or flags so diners know what they're tasting!* That said, while I tried two pieces I thought looked good and I enjoyed them, RC munched through them unaware they were different flavors, lol. My take: they were ok. I also ordered the French Onion soup as I love trying different restaurants' take on it. Five stars for the soup, it was absolutely delicious. A thick piece of crusty bread topped with melted cheese that dripped over the crock topped rich, delicious caramelized onions and just enough beef stock to be able to call it soup. Banging. For our mains, RC ordered ribs with a side of Buffalo Brussels Sprouts. The ribs had good flavor but were definitely not fall-off-the-bone; more like saw from the bone. We both love Brussels but the beef-tallow fried sprouts with Buffalo sauce and caked in melted bleu cheese crumbles were not good. If you don't like Brussels, you might like these because any sprout flavor was overwhelmed by the bleu cheese. For my main I tried the braised Short Rib Ravioli, generous ravioli in a very rich cream sauce then topped with (I think) bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. I ate one raviolo and it wasn't for me. I thought the filling was bland and the sauce didn't meld with the flavor. I didn't eat it, the manager came to apologize and ask if I wanted something else, but RC was close to finished and I declined. Good on them for taking it off my bill without me asking. Service was five star, atmosphere nice, although the huge flat screens everywhere were a distraction lacking sound or captions. The bourbon selection looked great and I momentarily wished I could try some! :D

I've been to mallards a few times now and always is amazing!…read more Our usual go to is the shrimp boil for two. This shrimp boil is some of the best in Minnesota that I've had! We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience.
