I stopped in while in town. Ordered the buffalo wings, dry rub wings, and waffle fries. The wings came with ranch, carrots, and celery. The waffle fries were easily the highlight. They were crispy, flavorful, and something I would order again. The dry rub wings were decent, but the buffalo wings weren't my favorite. The sauce was very vinegar-forward which I didn't care for. Service was attentive. I was working on my laptop and ended up moving to the outdoor patio briefly without issue. We were seated right away, greeted quickly, and the food arrived about 15-20 minutes after ordering. Overall, I'd return while in town again. read more

Sat down for lunch yesterday. It took roughly 10 minutes before someone took our drink order, which is fine. Said she was too busy to take our food order even though we told her we were ready. Came back and took our food order five minutes later. Then we waited for 30 mins for no food. She came out and said the kitchen hadn't gotten tickets. But that our food will now be out in 20 minutes. Another twenty minutes passed and she came back to inform us she had no idea where our ticket is and that we aren't getting food. I'll never come back. Not respecting your guests time is unacceptable, as is not actually finding a solution after you make and acknowledge mistakes. read more

Nah, Valentine's Day was pretty rough on me this last year, but I gotta say Heartbreaker's is by far the only way to go in the south west suburbs... Maybe it's just an empathetic vibration but, as a fellow hopeless romantic could attest, and as the name states... Their menu is outstanding! Prices are very reasonable too. We just had a problem with the service. You seat yourself, which is fine, but it took a while for a server to come around. Once we got our drinks and ordered it took a while and we noticed a couple tables that were there before us hadn't received their meals until after us. Our server never introduced himself, didn't make us feel welcome, didn't thank us for coming in; I guess if you're not a regular or fit in the right demographic you're not welcome here. But the food was great and is why I'm leaving this 3-star review instead of something lower. We tried the classic burger and the walleye sandwich. The sandwich was huge! Menu items are definitely worth the price and are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in town. The drinks on the other hand, a soft drink costs $3. I'm sorry, but since we never got refills it is definitely not worth it. A couple other issues we had... their menu (at the restaurant and online) needs someone to proofread / edit it. Badly. It's not like I was going to argue it or anything, but here is a direct copy and paste from their menu, "sandwiches and burgers... includes a pickle spear, french fries, waffles fries, coleslaw, kettle chipss" (that typo is supposed to be there) Almost sounds like you should get all those things, right? My burger came with a pickle spear and waffle fries, but my fiance's sandwich came with just some not-so-fresh coleslaw. Also, my burger came out to a higher price than what was listed on the menu. Love going to Heartbreakers for a good lunch dinner or appetizers. Friendly staff, good service and awesome food. Love that's it's close by too, live about one mile from it. We frequent it a few times a month. Bingo is always fun as well and their live music on the patio is relaxing. read more

If this place was closed to where I live, I'd become a regular. Their lunch specials are crazy. It was either $5-6 for a burger & fries. The portions are enormous. This is a casual, family friendly dive bar in the westward sprawling neighborhood of Chaska. It's a community that is presently underserved for restaurants and Heartbreakers is at least trying. They are first and foremost a bar. With that said, their tap list is extensive for craft beer. Two for ones during their extended happy hour and reasonable $5 pints when it's not. I had a Toppling Goliath "Pompeii" on this night and that's my current fav. Scored points with this Yelper. We've had pizza here before and decided to stick with that between my wife and I. There are choices in crust type and we picked thin. It's a nice crackery crust that holds together even under the weight of a Heartbreakers "Special". The cheeses is a mozz and cheddar mix and is fairly generous. No need to go double. Recently they upgraded their sausage game. It appears to be a hand rolled sausage balls. Not the pre made all the same size pellets they've served in the past. Mushrooms were also upgraded from canned to fresh. Heartbreakers Bar & Grill is FUN. We walked in on Monday trivia night and the place is close to full. You look around and you realize between the pool tables, dart boards, a dozen or more TV's, everyone is having a great time. Our server Chelsea immediately greeted us and told us it was a new menu was being introduced that night. We ordered the bull bites which came out like a version of French soup with beef bites and broiled cheese over the top. Yum!! Second time here and both times recieved prompt and friendly service as well as good food. This time ordered chicken tenders, poutine, and philly cheesesteak sandwich. The chicken tender were from kids menu and came with fried. Both were properly done although needed to cool a bit before my kiddo could eat them. The poutine was a tad salty but otherwise great with housemade cheese curds and a nice brown gravy. The philly cheesesteak sandwich had a good balance of meat, veggies, and cheese sauce. Nice local bar with a friendly family atmosphere. Upgraded the side on the sandwich to a salad, its a nice size salad, not a tiny one like you get at some places. We also added a cup of beer cheese soup which must have been good as my wife ate it in no time. read more

We came for dinner. Ordered a cheeseburger, got a burger, quesadilla was good and Reuben was reasonable. French fries were soggy and not tasty. I like crunchy fries. The atmosphere is nice for a quick meal with basic bar food. People are having a good time. There is a good vibe here. The Reuben should have been crisp on both sides but only on one. So food was ok. We ended up at Heartbreakers quite by accident. The kitchen at the place we intended to go was closed due to a COVID outbreak. This was definitely to our benefit! It was pretty quiet for a Saturday although, admittedly, it's a holiday weekend and most are headed to the lakes. My friend and I both had the taco salad which was delicious. The bowl was a little stale in texture but tasted really good. Just a few extra chews. Our server, Krystal was right on top of things. She took our order right away then gave us room to chat and eat while checking in regularly - without hovering. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. They have happy hour specials so I love getting buy one beer, get another for $1! Their Mac & cheese is awesome!! Prices are so good too. We are here enough to know the menu so when we ordered a bbq chicken pizza, we were told it wasn't on the menu. My wife was asked what was on it since they don't have the original crust bbq chicken on the menu. It smelled great but when we got home it was a normal tomato based pizza with chicken and bbq sauce drizzled over the top. I've never had such a thing. What's funny is that they have a bbq chicken flatbread in the menu but we got the monstrosity we did. Seems like very untrained staff in the kitchen or they were lazy about it. Visiting the area and stopped to eat at Heartbreakers. Sat in their outside porch-type area. Was really nice. A live Jazz band came in and set up while we were there. They were wonderful! Not too loud and the music was really good. We mainly ordered the appetizers which were just big enough to fill us. We had steak tips, Cajun tips, waffle fries and the hands down winner of the evening was buffalo wings with the dry rub. My son got the wings but I first chose the Cajun tips. The Cajun steak tips were cooked perfectly and the spice was very nice. Not overpowering. I tried one of my son's wings and from the first bite I was hooked. I finished my steak tips and ordered another basket of wings with the dry rub because I was not going to leave without turning my pleasant experience into an awesome one. The others who chose the regular steak tips were happy with their orders as well. Our server was nice and very helpful. The restrooms were nice and clean. We would definitely return! read more

The menu is really good - lots of options. The beer/wine/cocktail list is impressive. I especially like the variety from local craft breweries. The outdoor patio is FANTASTIC. It's been upgraded since the last time we were there (maybe 1,5 years ago). There's great tables, cushions, fire pit, fans, twinkle lights, sunshades and TVs. Even live music. It's truly an oasis. Tonight it was 90° outside and we felt cool. The problem from my perspective is the smoking. Every bite of the good food we ate was accompanied by a mouthful of cigarette smoke. Everyone from inside comes outside to puff away. If you want this place to be frequented, the smokers need a space outside the patio. They take over and frankly, it sucks. If you want people to come in, spend money on good food and high quality beverages, you need to stop the smoking. read more

He looked at me several times, but took orders from at least three groups that came in after I did. We traversed down to Chaska, my wife and I had a $20 voucher for Heartbreakers. I had seen one around Plymouth, so I was expecting a Doolittle's type of place, this was the exact opposite. This was a dive bar with some TVs on the wall and one older gentleman sitting at the bar sipping on a soda. The place had neon signs lining the wall and some arcade games. It was nice enough, but only sat about 40 people probably. The bartender came over and was kind of goofy, but a nice enough guy. We got our menu and I ordered an Alaskan IPA. Good stuff, nice and hoppy and crisp. Yummy. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich with a side salad and my wife got a side salad with ranch. We sat and talked and laughed with each other and then or lunch came out, two plates of iceberg lettuce with nice croutons and onions and tomatoes, with a side of dressing each. The blue cheese was creamy and delish. Nothing special here though. The sandwich came in a basket with a pickle spear, always a plus. Love me some pickles. The kaiser roll was bountiful and fluffy. Very nice. There was a plethora of BBQ pork on it with a sweet BBQ sauce, it just oozed out the sides. Also on top was a creamy, crispy coleslaw. There were sweet crunches with each bite, and I started out holding it in my hands like a baby bird, nestling the happiness but fearful I would drop it and have it splatter all over. I transferred to a fork and all was well with the world. The meat was so much, I was pretty much stuffed. If I could give the place 2 1/2 stars I would, but the ambiance was so weird, I couldn't see myself recommending this place to a friend. The sandwich was real nice, but it was a tad cold, and the salads were big, but nothing special. Beers were $5 a piece, not bad, not great.
