Typical draft beer, single mixer cocktails, etc. I shouldn't expect a Minnesota bar to be able to make a Wisconsin Old Fashioned, but they absolutely missed the mark on that one when I ordered one. First time at Shakopee Bowl and we had a great experience! It looks like such a fun spot in the summer -- we'll definitely have to come back to check out the outdoor area. We grabbed dinner before bowling, and everything was delicious. The wings were a big hit with our whole group (4 of us) forgot to get a picture -- perfectly crispy on the outside and super juicy inside. Our waitress recommended the thin-crust BBQ chicken pizza, and it was excellent! The flavors were really well-balanced; nothing overpowered anything else, and you could taste every ingredient. Our waitress was super polite, attentive, and helpful the whole time. We finished the night bowling and had a blast. We'll absolutely be back -- highly recommend! read more

1-star directly because of the ridiculous "no water bottles" policy * Water comes from moldy soda machine spout * Only gave us a single water pitcher for family of 15 people bowling across 3 lanes * Water was empty in first 5 minutes. Waitress never came back to refill water during entire 1 hour bowling session. 99% of other establishments (including bowling alleys) allow people to bring in their own water! My best guess is alcohol drinkers ruined this for people looking to simply bring their own water in. They probably hide liquor in water bottles and thus Shakopee Bowl makes a knee jerk decision which negatively impacts non-alcohol drinking customers. I won't come back in until this policy is reverted or fixed. read more

We went today for lunch and sat outside. They started the firepits to help keep us warm. The server was very nice and attentive. She had zero issues asking any questions since it was our first time there. The food came out in individual closed containers. I grew up in Shakopee and now live in Savage. Last Friday I went to Shakopee Bowl for a taping of Twin Cities Live. It has been a very long time since I have been there. I remember dropping my kids off for bowling back in the day. I was pleasantly surprised with all the things they have to offer. Bowling, great patio, bar, food, ice cream and great drinks. The inside is large so you can move around easily. I enjoyed a Bomba drink, and it was delicious. I spoke with the owner Dave, and he is a great guy. If you get the chance stop by this hidden gem you will enjoy your visit. read more

*My review is based on my most recent visit for a reserved party. We have been here before and while we love the amenities, the staff have soured our experiences. Recently visited Shakopee Bowl for a wiffleball birthday party. The day prior to the party I confirmed details with a very nice gentleman who offered an indoor space if bad weather occurred, offered to store our ice cream cake and allow us extra time to stay as long as we were out by the time the next reservation arrived. However, staff working the day of the party were very rude upon arrival. I wanted to touch base with someone to start setting up and was met with attitude and short responses. I asked to be on one field as opposed to the other because the field they put us on didn't accommodate our party, requiring us to move & add heavy tables. They said they won't switch our field as there was another reservation on the field I requested. Ok, we'll make it work. In time we learned there wasn't another reservation for the field but they admitted they like to keep a field open in case other people want to play on it. That field sat empty the entire time. I could have had the field that would fit everybody without paying the party reservation fee.. The staff person assigned to our party, "K" was not helpful or enjoyable. We spent a lot of time waiting for K to bring out supplies needed for our party. She was late on everything despite having all order information ahead of time. Food, plates, forks for ice cream cake, which melted before guests could enjoy, etc. When K was with us, she hovered without actually helping. Guests from our party had to constantly go inside and ask for supplies & drinks themselves. We are already limited in our reserved time and spent too long waiting for items. K told us we could sit at tables outside of the reservation area as our group size was dwindling and we didn't have time for gifts. I asked K if she could store the remainder of the ice cream cake in the freezer while we finish up and was met with an eye roll and rude response. She refused to help so my brother took in inside where another gentleman let us store it in the freezer for a bit. As I paid the tab, I handed K the payment and tip; again, I was met with attitude. Our party was not rude or unkind. I don't feel like we gave any reason to be met with the awful service we received. I just don't get it. Maybe she had a bad day but it ruined ours. I tipped out of pity. I hope she finds something she actually enjoys. Needless to say I will not be making another party reservation here, which is a huge bummer because this place has a lot of fun things to do and besides the staff, we want to enjoy it. All of the bad reviews you've heard about this place...FORGET ABOUT THEM! They were from the old center that was here before Shakopee Bowl. All of the employees have been replaced with kind people, the bowling alley is taking extra precautions during COVID and before COVID happened and I was trying their food, it was amazing! This is a great local hot spot that is slowly being rebuilt from the ground up. For those that had a bad experience, give Shakopee Bowl another chance! They won't disappoint! read more

So much plastic waste! All drinks were served in single use plastic cups with plastic lids and plastic straws, utensils were plastic, wasn't given a choice about a straw. Please Shakopee Bowl - hire a dishwasher and be more eco friendly. As to the food, it was pre-packaged, processed food just warmed up on site. So I used to live in shakopee for like 5 years and I never knew there was a bowling place there but I finally got to go last weekend with my family and let me tell you it was a really nice place, the food is amazing the pizza is so good I never thought a bowling place could have that good of a pizza really good everything else was nice and clean, people was really nice, I'm totally going back for sure read more

Prices raised by 25% and still extremely anti-customer mentality from owner. Bucket of Coors light price was $20 at Christmas 2023 and now price raised to $25 for same bucket of 5 beers. Wow. That is a 25% increase. So sad to see Dave the owner here treat his customers so poorly as well. We have observed him getting in verbal altercations with customers and banning friendly people from the establishment and behaving in a very belligerent way. Shame on you Dave! Thankfully some of his staff save the day and treat customers great. Hate to patronize the establishment and give the money to such a bad person. read more

We've been there a few times for breakfast and almost everything is really good. I found it odd that the menu only stated "scrambled eggs" everywhere and wondered if that's because they use an egg product and not an actual cracked egg. So I asked if I could get mine done over easy because that is my preference anyway. The waitress seemed unsure but said yes and they were served pretty close to that but clearly cooked in a ring as they were perfectly round (not a problem just an observation). But my boyfriend went with scrambled and they looked and tasted like some kind of egg product. Really weird texture, crumbly and not the right color, like dehydrated eggs or something and not a fleck of seasoning. Why would you do that if you HAVE fresh eggs? I don't know but they were not good. We'll go back for the great sausage links, bacon, waffles and french toast but no scrambled eggs for us. And one little nitpick - when a person orders 4 pieces of french toast or one of their enormous waffles, they need to give you more than one little dip cup of syrup. There's like two tablespoons of syrup in there. It's not even enough for one piece of french toast and I'm not one to drench mine in syrup. read more
