Cute little brewery and coffee house in a lovely downtown setting. We came here to get a stamp for my pub pass. It was an added bonus that my wife could get coffee at the same time. Bartenders were very useful in helping us choose our drinks. I had the hazy and gave it a 3.5 outta 5, not my favorite but flavorful. Plenty of seating at parking was easy and close.

Stopped in for coffee on a Saturday AM to sit and read with our pup. We had the pistachio latte and salted caramel latte which were both great. Loved the drink ware. The coffee flights looked delicious too and would love to try those next time. It was decently busy for the morning with patrons drinking a mix of beer and coffee. Our coffees took a little while, but given they were making flights which looked complex it was understandable. The staff was pleasant and there is ample parking and seating alike - good vibe for both a coffee shop and brewery.

Delicious beers with a well-rounded menu. Flight options available too. Staff was great and well-informed. Great location too.

I adventured out to Shakopee on a Sunday & decided to stop here to try their winter coffee flight. It was a bit busy with mostly groups of people but had ample seating. I seen on Ig that later in the day they were having live music and crafts (you bring your own crafts to work on) which is super cool. It's a coffee shop and brewery so you can get beer as well. The flight was really good. On a the sweeter side if you like sweet coffee drinks, like me. The chocolate covered strawberry and thin mint crunch were my favs. I believe you can order food via a QR code at the tables. I meant to pull up the menu while I was there but forgot as I was taking in the moment. The staff were nice, didn't have too much interaction with them besides putting in my order. It's a lot of businesses and a few restaurants/bars on both sides of the street so parking in front on the main street can be busy but they do have additional parking areas which are easy to get to/from.

Loved the ambience and staff, it's locally brewed. We meet regularly at this place. It's well maintained.

Came by and got the coffee flight which is such a unique idea. It was fun to try 4 different yummy coffees. The employees are friendly and the place has good vibes. They don't serve food but have a partnership with nearby restaurants where you can order food the the restaurant will deliver right to you.

The holiday coffee flight was so fun and delicious! You could get the flights hot or cold which was also nice.

What an a fun place to visit! This was a stop in our PubPass Passport and somewhere we had been wanting to try forever and it did not disappoint! It's a smaller space but it feels cozy and welcoming. We liked that they offered not only alcoholic offerings but also nonalcoholic offerings. The coffee flight was so so amazing. We will be back for sure! The beer was good as well. What we loved though, is the Pay it Forward wall! Guests can buy a drink for a number of things (think veteran, nurse, teacher, etc.) and anyone who is on that category can claim it! Such a fun idea and the wall was filled so it's clearly popular.

Been a few times for beer but this time I came for coffee and to do some work. It was a really chill place to come work and I love that they've got bottomless drip coffee; just need to pop back up to the bar to grab a refill. Everyone I've talked to there has been super helpful and friendly. Always willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. They've got some pastries from Brittner's next door, standard bar snacks, and N/A options. Only open until 12 on Mondays but you can always roll straight from coffee to beer depending on how your day's going! They hold a lot of events and fundraisers for local groups, which is awesome to see. Their beer is good and it's a great change of pace from the trendy, industrial-chic spots I normally get to. Will probably add this coffee shop to my regular remote work rotation.

The bartender was friendly and gave my husband a sample of the jalapeño beer which if you want something spicy it would be a good choice. We went with a few other options. There was a sip and paint event going on. Multiple people were enjoying the patio area with their dogs. If you are looking for a relaxing place to have a beverage this just might be your spot.

Had the best coffee date this morning in downtown Shakopee at @shakopeebrewhall I have been here previously to grab a beer with friends and have enjoyed the outside street patio and also the cool screened in secret patio out back... But this was my first time taking advantage of their morning coffee menu and we loved it! They have a seasonal coffee flight option and then various hot and iced options! I am an iced coffee only person and I ordered the Salty Lumberjack which comes with a sprinkle of black sea salt on top! Soooo good! I also ordered the Mulled Hot Cider We also stopped by Brittner's Bakery (a few stores down) before hand to grab some donuts and then headed over to the brewery. The brewery welcomes outside food and there are plenty of options around you can get for take out! There are various of fun games to chose from and it's family friendly if you have little ones! I can't wait to make this my regular spot! 10/10 recommend

Flight paired with some donuts from the bakery a few doors down!

Met up with a friend this morning to try out their coffee offerings. Of course I had to try their winter cold brew flight! Fun variety of flavors and reasonably priced. My favorite was the ruby heart but they were all pretty great. This Brewhall is so cute and cozy inside, the bartender was super nice too! It is family friendly also which is a nice plus- the kids played some board games while we chatted. Pups are welcome too! I would love to stop back in to try some of their brews soon!

It has been a bit since I last went to Shakopee Brewhall - which is surprising since they are less than 10 minutes away from my house. The space is on the smaller size, but love how they have set it up to use up every last inch. I also love how every time I am in there I see at least one dog that I can pet. I came for a happy hour and was able to have a couple beers! Freudian Sip: A Vienna Lager that was just how it should be. It had a pleasant toasted bread crust malt flavor, mild bitterness, and a dry crisp finish. This beer was their first try at a Vienna Lager and you can count me as impressed. 19th Amendment: An Altbier brewed in collaboration with the women of the brewery for Women's History Month. Baked bread malt that fills you up. The fermentation profile is controlled with just a bit of apple fruitiness. Bitterness is on the lower end, allowing the malt and crispiness of the hybrid ale to shine. __________

I had an awesome breakfast burrito and their awesome Tirimasu Latte (iced), and they have other offerings that will lure me from St Paul for future visits. Specifically, now that I am mourning the loss of Sun Street Breads and its Thursday Night Pizza Night, I'll have to try Smith's version of that. But I'll probably come back for brunch on a weekend pretty soon and get more coffee, as well as something from their bakery. But also, yes, brunch; the eggs in my burrito were really perfect. I was there at around noon on a Sunday; peak busy times so parking was a little hairy but I eventually found a spot. I absolutely recommend coming with a bunch of pals and hanging out for a good long time, but maybe don't all drive separately if it's noon-ish on a weekend. They have a lovely patio area which was well-populated, even on this extra-sunny mid-February day. If you like adorable cafes, you will definitely love this place.

I immediately started looking at coffee shops that I could relocate to in order to work. I had been wanting to go try Smiths for a while but the opportunity just never presented itself despite being just down the road. I arrived and the driveway leading to the parking lot was lined with cars, but I was able to find a spot in the parking lot after a minute or so. It was definitely a full lot for sure. The location is absolutely adorable as this is a historic house. It was once a Dunn Brothers, but I do love that it is its own thing now rather than a chain. They had a outdoor patio that people were enjoying but it was a bit chilly for working and sitting outside, one person even had a dog which I LOVE! Inside the front door you are greeted with a welcoming counter that you can order. I opted to try the salted caramel iced latte. If you are consuming there (which I was) they give you a number to bring to your table and they bring the drink. I really liked this idea especially in the aspect of not having to stand and wait for a drink. The price was a bit high (7.55 for a 16 oz with $1 tip), but then again everything is getting expensive these days. I walked back to the seating area and there are essentially 3 rooms downstairs, I walked through all 3 to see where working would be ideal. I went upstairs but there was a woman in the room so I assumed it was a group that was meeting or something so I opted to not investigate further. I found seating downstairs in what felt like the quietest part, but there were a lot of people there talking and the acoustics were not exactly fantastic. I did have a call which I took via teams and air pods and discovered the sound in the room was actually really not awesome for a meeting as it was quite loud and the wifi was not strong enough to support the video on the teams call. So would I recommend working from Smith, not if you have a meeting, but if you are looking for a place that has some background noise, I guess... However this is certainly a place that is perfect for meeting someone and enjoying breakfast or coffee and I love that. I did not order food this time, but everything I saw get delivered looked delicious. I also noticed they have a pizza night on Thursday nights and immediately made a note of that for a date night with the hubby.

Whether it's an early morning motorcycle ride for coffee or an evening trip for cocktails, food trucks, and live music, it always feels worth the ride. The café was founded by riders and embraces an "All Wheels Welcome" philosophy, which is part of what makes it such a fun place to visit. The space itself is beautiful, the drinks are consistently great, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between being a community gathering spot and a place to relax. What really stands out, though, is the ownership. They genuinely care about building community, and it shows in everything from the events they host to the welcoming environment they've created. My only minor criticism is that, despite the name, I sometimes wish it leaned a little harder into the motorcycle and car culture side of things. It feels like it's evolved into more of a general destination café than a true motor-focused hangout. That said, it's a very small complaint, and the fact that such a wide variety of people enjoy the space is probably part of its success. If you're looking for a great excuse to get out of the Twin Cities, grab a coffee, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a scenic ride, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Getaway Motor Cafe.
