The food looked great although we passed this time. The service is good. You can stand to order or sit at your table and order with the QR code. The place to come to when on a bike ride on the river. Happy we stumbled on this place and will have to come back to check out happy hour which is 3-5!
If I lived in the area, I come back to Pryes again and again. So good. As for the beer, they have a variety of options. When I visited, they had 6 sours on tap, so I opted for a flight to try them all.

One thing I do wish is they had more games available to play with friends. I really enjoy their blueberry sour and they're Dublin dry stout. This is definitely a place you should check out if you're out from out of town!
Stopped here recently with friends and this was our second time visiting, last time was many, many years ago! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space was just as I remembered it but huge! Plenty of social gatherings going on with plenty of space to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their draft selection is overwhelming so we did two flights to try a bunch, all pretty good! Staff were friendly and even helped convert a nearly 10yo gift card to their new system so we'll be back to use that up. I do wish they had more vegan options for food. They upcharge $4.50 for vegan cheese on pizza and don't really have much else for sides or dipping sauces. The pizza was delicious though but small for $20.

The beertenders have always been friendly and accommodating during my visits. The beer is great! I've been here a few times and they have a great variety! Over the years, I've especially loved their Festbier during Oktoberfest.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a large beer hall with intimate lighting for a cozy date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had one of their sours and really enjoyed the tangy flavor. I also shared some of their food offerings. The wood fire pizza was tasty though I would have liked it cooked a little longer. The pretzel is an appetizer to share with a friend or two. It is quite large and also a good beer pairing. The dipping sauce options were mild but added to the flavor. I like that you order food to your table with a QR code. I had a great time here and will definitely be back!
[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great brewery with a lot of different options, a lot of indoor seating and some very good food for a brewery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the cheesy garlic bread, which was more of a pizza without the red sauce, and it was very delicious. When you order online at the table, the service is pretty fast. Keep in mind there is a mandatory service charge. This place does get pretty busy so parking can be a little difficult to find after 6 PM or so.
The worst is walking up to a brewery, wanting to sit outside, and realizing there's no seating but that's definitely not the case at Pryes! They've got an incredible outdoor space with plenty of large tables for groups big and small, plus it's dog-friendly which is always a win. We loved the beer, tried the Northern Tropic and Ocean Glow, and both were delicious. The pizza, on the other hand, didn't really hit for us. It tasted pretty basic with limited flavor and honestly not worth the price. Service was super quick though, which we appreciated! Parking is all street parking, so you might have to walk a little, but we didn't have trouble finding a spot.
I love Pryes beers. They are so unique and always have something fun to try. They have a good amount of events happening too and enough space for everyone to have their own thing going on. Appreciate their huge yard games. I've only eaten there during their Octoberfest, but the garlic bread and giant pretzel we got were so delectable. I am always so happy when I get a REALLY good soft pretzel.
Yummy custom flight of 4 option! I got the Royal Raspberry, Peace Offering, Coconut Drift, and El Camino. A sour and darker coffee beers just the way I like it. They also have a decent 2 for 1 happy hour and $10 1 topping pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of rustic outdoor tables and barrels to chill at just off the parkways and the Mississippi River.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So it's biker friendly and puppers are welcome!
Review heavily influenced by food. I paid an extra $9.5 for gluten-free crust on a personal pizza. So my vegetarian pizza was $25 before tip. The Margherita pizza advertised burrata and I can't be positive, but I am almost positive that the cheese was not burrito. The cheese and basil quantity was extremely low. Generally this tasted good though! Twice, I've had folks in my group on separate occasions order a pizza that advertised having arugula on it but it came with spinach. This is a shocking difference. So I'm not sure if the menu is outdated or this spot was always lying about their menu, but this was an odd experience that warrants 3 stars. I will say that there is lovely and ample outdoor space and service was quick in most ordering experiences but not mine.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here for trivia with some friends. It's a nice spot for trivia and I like that you can order from your table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend got the pepperoni pizza, which looked good. I got the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream and cheese sauce. The fries were really good and the cheese sauce is a queso, which is pretty good. The seasoned sour cream was awful, I am not sure what it is but it doesn't taste like seasoned sour cream at all. I wouldn't recommend.
I visited Pryes Brewery on a Thursday evening, the space is great for gatherings of all sizes. They have a parking lot, but it was full and street parking was scarce because of the River rats show. I liked the concept of being able to use a QR code attached to your table to order food and drinks, it was fairly quick and I was able to keep hanging out instead of waisting time standing in line. The beer selection was great, I ordered a flight of their stouts.

Pryes is hands down our favorite brewery in Minnesota! It's spacious, well set up, and perfect for enjoying drinks outside, especially in the warmer months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are games to play, plenty of seating, and a really fun, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours there without even realizing it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is also a standout, which isn't always the case at breweries. We especially love the pizza and the elote fries, both are consistently delicious and pair perfectly with their drinks. It's nice to have food options that go beyond the basics and actually feel like a reason to come back. The staff has always been super friendly and patient, even when it's busy, which we really appreciate. It makes the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. Fun is an understatement!!! We visited on a Thursday night, and I could not believe how many people were out enjoying this fun space. We had a few little people with us, and they enjoyed the feather bowling. The line was a little long, and took about 25 minutes to order. We eventually figured out that if you order from your table, the service is much quicker. The food was good. Something for everybody. I specifically liked the waffle fries and pepperoni pizza. The Pryes Lime was my favorite!! read more

I was at Pryes Brewing for a short period a couple weekends ago and got a couple small pours. I learned while there that they offer different vintage pours of their famous Imperial Stout, Lost Moon. It was tough to pick which vintage (barrel aged or non barrel aged as well), but I settled on the oldest one to try out what proper aging does to the beer. Barrel Aged Lost Moon (2020): An Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels and then laid to rest outside of the barrel since 2020. Body has thinned slightly, but still nice chocolate malt, roast, and a hint of vanilla barrel character. Monkey Bar: An Imperial Stout with Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Marshmallow. Preys (pronounced: Prize), is one of my favorite breweries. Stopped for a blueberry sour and some pepperoni pizza last night. This place never disappoints. They host a lot of events throughout the summer and their dog friendly patio is awesome. The service here is great and speedy I don't think I have a bad thing to say about this place. Keep up the great work Preys. I highly recommend this place. read more

What can I say? This place nailed it! QR codes on the tables to place food/drink order is genius! Food comes out hot/cold and is so flavorful with clearly large portions! The inside had games for all ages, outside had areas in the sun or shade. Stage for live music and even an area to do yoga and do a steam in your own steam house! 10/10 read more

Met up with friends to celebrate a birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We decided to sit upstairs and had a wonderful time. Felt like a private space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was great from the beers to the food. The stout is my go to, along with the mushroom pizza, but I also tried a berry jam sour that was absolutely outstanding! Pryes Brewing was an excellent change of pace for Steve and myself. We get a lot of IPA'S and unfortunately we wind up getting bored with some of them. We have had plenty of New England, East Coast and West Coast IPA'S but I never had a Midwest IPA before and I loved it. For this beer they used hops from the west Coast and malts from the east coast. This made a toned down and pleasantly smooth IPA that I felt was unique, memorable and enjoyable. Flavors to be on the lookout for with this lovely beer are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very smooth and light bodied which I often have said and sought out many times before with our brewery adventures. read more
Love love love Pryes' raspberry sours! We actually get it a liquor store now too after discovering it at Pryes :) also highly recommend the elote fries -- very tasty! Every pizza we've tried has been good too, only thing is probably food being a little pricey. Service is great and efficient-- they have QR codes you just scan to order and they bring food and drinks to you which makes things very easy! Ambience has always been great because they have such a huge area! We also went here for a mini festival in the summer and it was fun! read more
5 stars still!! We don't live in MN anymore but come back once a year (in the summer) and I wanted a certain vibe of a brewery while we were visiting, as we usually have gone to dangerous man. I love the location of this. This place is HUGE. Lots of different areas you can sit and chill. Bathrooms were clean and huge. I got a nitro sour of course and hubby got a pineapple sour. Great beers and a great vibe!!! read more

I had fries a beer and a house margarita. The service was quick, views of the river were amazing. They had some live music that was a nice chill vibe also. Parked nearby in small lot there was one open spot with just a short walk. Servers were nice and very attentive. read more

Very calm night because I went during the State Fair week, so there was no foot traffic. I love the atmosphere still, with the amount of tables and sitting area. My favorite was a small area with jenga and dice games. Wish they have card games as well cuz nothing beats drinks and cards. Tried their brews but didn't get a chance to try their food services. I can't wait to go back to Minnesota and see how lively it gets during an average night. read more
There is a cool tap room with outside seating on the NE side of Minneapolis. Parking is not the greatest, so prepare to walk a block or two unless you Uber it. Their beers are certainly above average. They have something for everyone here. It's here for you: Malty, Hoppy, Sours, Dark, High ABV sippers. They also have a kitchen to order food. There are things really to comment on, but if you have a hankering for a gnoshable, you will be satisfied.I also noticed they have a bottle program. I picked up a couple of their BA Barleywines and a BA stout. They were well made. They were a bit higher priced than they should be, but I enjoyed them. Stopped by today for a quick beverage and lunch. It was quiet but we sat on the patio because they have an amazing patio and the sun was shining. I had their smoothie sour which was so yummy! I also had their margarita pizza which was to die for! A little spendy but worth every penny! Definitely a bucket list stop if you're a brewery lover. Dogs are allowed on the patio! read more
