Visited 3/6/26. Would likely give like a 4.5/5. Rounded up for overall experience. Came for a fish fry special and ended up getting the sunfish sandwich while my mom and sister got the sunfish basket. Overall everything was delicious and I did really enjoy the food! Just minor things like could've used a bit more sunfish in the sandwich and the bun being a bit too charred but the flavors were still all there and it was a fun event overall. I think because STP brewing has such good food options I would maybe lean towards their normal menu however they have such good drink options as per usual and I will definitely be back for more of their fun food options! read more

The patio is so cool and such a fun vibe- and tons of seating! Service is always great! Went there for an event for Big Brother Big Sister and it was a great space for a group of 15 adults. We sat inside, ordered apps and drinks. The music was kind of loud so that was the only downfall but we were right under a speaker. I don't recall any tv's, there is a self serve water station, board games to play, bars inside and out, NA and THC drinks also available. Food was great! The brussel sprouts are my fav! The indoor space was nice, but the real shining star here was the outdoor space. The canoe fire pit begs you to settle in, get cozy & make new friends. Saint Paul Brewery is a must-visit! I've only ever sat on the patio (which is incredible), but since it was cold today we sat on the inside and it is just as amazing. They have the coolest decorations throughout the brewery and creative seating--it's truly a unique spot. It was pretty busy when we arrived around 5 p.m. on a Friday. There was limited seating available but we got lucky and snagged a table just as someone was leaving. The food was delicious! The chili crunch on the pizza was fantastic, but felt something was missing--almost like it needed a bit more sauce. Still, it was delicious and a perfect size for two people. I also didn't realize you could get a side of fries for just $3.50! I'll be ordering them every time I go now. They also have the cutest apparel and merch. Absolutely loved this brewery in St.Paul. Had such a cute indoor and outdoor seating area. A lot of beers on tap, the f*ck cancer beer was not bad but I loved the mid west hazy beer. The food slapped, the grilled cheese was maybe one of the best grilled cheeses I have ever had. The staff let us sample some beers before buying one and my friend's food took a while to come out and they gave him a free beer ticket to make up for it. Didn't have much interaction with the service here- the whole thing was pretty automated, the only interaction was food being brought to the table and they were nice! We got wings and the el cubano pizza. The wings were good and juicy, and enough to split. The Cubano pizza on the other hand was terrible. It tasted like MUSTARD in every. Single. Bite. Even when you wiped it off. Unless you love Dijon mustard drowning out any other flavor. My partner got the porter and I got the fruity pebbles thc drink. The porter, per his report, was good. The outdoor patio space is inviting and phenomenal: lots of little private nooks and greenery galor, and kitschy decor. This visit we enjoyed the F&$% Cancer beer again (a cherry wheal ale) and a California burger (and the spicy pep pizza). The food was delish! Let's start with the beer....it is very good! They had two hazy IPA's, Haze of Infatuation, and Galaxy Quest, I tried both and both are good. I also had a pint of F*CK Cancer, it is a wheat ale brewed with cherries and it is delicious. My favorite of the three that I tried. The food...I was blown away by the pizza!!! First we ordered the Coreleon, it is a sausage pizza with fontina cheese, arugula, garlic and the star of this show "chili crunch". It is on another level. Second was the Fall in your mouth. I would be happy to let that pizza fall in my mouth all over again. The fontina/goat cheese blend, the prosciutto, squash, candied pepitas, and that glaze!!! Last we ordered the SPB Burger and you wouldn't know by reading the description on the menu but there is some spice on this burger. I wish they would mention it, my 12 year old did not appreciate the heat. The burger sauce is what is so spicy, so if spice is not your thing maybe ask to leave it off or ask for it on the side. The collection of old furniture and nicknacks creates the coolest garden vibe. The staff is quick to clear off tables when parties leave, opening up spaces quickly. Eating, drinking, and playing games in the room full of plants was really cool and peaceful. They have a patio, but we didn't check it out this time. I tried a Can Can seltzer & followed it up with a Spaghet; both were really tasty. I did try my friend's hard seltzer (some kind of cherry lime flavor) & it tasted like medicine. Other than that, though, we all enjoyed our beers & food! I ordered the Elote Brussels Sprouts & they were delicious. I would happily eat just the toppings with a spoon. Went to Saint Paul Brewing for the first time recently. This is now my new favorite brewery! There's so much I can say so I'll break it down the best I can. 1. The patio is AMAZING. It's massive and reads like an eclectic sculpture garden. There's so much to see and so many unique things all around you. Even some of the seating is creative - check out the swing chairs in my photos! I've never had so much fun just being at a table. 2. The food was INCREDIBLE. We had a pizza, SPB burger, and plantain tacos. 10/10 on everything. The cheese was perfectly gooey and melty on the pizza, the burger sauce was top notch, and the plantain tacos were something I'd never seen anywhere else and they were amazing! 3. The tap selection was great and they also have cocktails, which is something not a lot of breweries offer. As someone who prefers cocktails to beer, this was a a great option for me. It's not just canned cocktails either, they actually have their own cocktail menu with crafted drinks! 4. There is a parking lot - no hassle with street parking which is something that does deter me from venturing into the cities. It's also free to park! 5. Ordering is super simple - scan the QR code for your table and order directly from your phone. I actually like this model because you don't have to wait for someone to come to you. As soon as you know what you want, you can place your order. Also you can guarantee any customizations you want will be put in correctly. I love the aesthetic of this place. It's very fun, unique and has the old industrial vibe. I like all the cool art and up-cycled art pieces and furniture. The California Burger was done perfectly with a toasted bun and crunchy onion. My friends got a pizza and it looked yum. They said it was excellent. The beer choices change - all of them are good, from the sours to the hazy ipas to the porters. They also offer cocktails, kombucha and n/a beverages. My husband and I stopped into Saint Paul Brewing Company for lunch and overall, it was pretty good. It being our first time in, we wanted to try a few different things to share. Note, you must order drinks from the bar on one tab, and then order off a QR code at the table on a different tab. That was... not ideal. For drinks, I ordered the F*ck Cancer and my husband got the Shamm's -- both were great and I would totally order both of them again! For food, we ordered the Elotes Brussel Sprouts, Buffalo Chicken Wings, and the Bakers Ransom Pizza. The pizza was definitely our favorite, followed by the elotes brussel sprouts. The wings were nothing to write home about. The wings weren't very crunchy, had a little more skin on them than we prefer and the blue cheese and ranch dressing that was served with them was pretty flat in terms of flavor (likely not homemade). I wouldn't order the wings again. The Bakers Ransom Pizza was spicy, chewy, and delicious! We wished there was more sauce on it but overall, we would totally order it again. I have been here a couple time now, nice in the summer out on the patio. Came here this time with my family, very empty early on Sunday. I got a kombucha, it was pretty good! My family seems to enjoy their beers, nothing that was amazing but said it was good. We also got some food. I got a pizza, it was okay, better than frozen pizza but nothing great. My mom's soup came cold so we asked if they can warm it up, she said it was good once they brought her another one. My other family members got the wings and said they were not good. We also got the sausage platter, this was the best thing we ate here. If we had only came and gotten this and drinks, this would be more like a 4 star review. In the area visiting family and looked to see what was open at noon. We were in luck Saint Paul Brewing located in the old Hamms Brewery was open at 11:30. Happy Hour pints started with a Shamm's, and a Crooks Haven Rye Porter. Second round was more Shamm's and a Black Helicopter, Oatmeal Stout. Everyone was awesome here. They greeted us and were very patient when I couldn't decide right away. The decor was so unique I almost wore out my cell battery. Made our way back to donate some coats and try their latest Porter series; an Irish cream infusion. I'll start off by saying the beer was amazing. We bought a growler to take home. The staff were great as always. Super friendly, helpful, and look to enjoy their work. Still a huge fan of mobile ordering. The fire pit is awesome. A canoe turned into a burner with cup holders all along the side. I got their panko fried cauliflower with the chipotle honey sauce and a seasonal warm kale salad. The cauliflower ranks in my top 1-2 "wings" in the cities. You usually only see buffalo and this was a tasty change of pace. The kale salad was kind of a let down. Despite all the flavorful sounding ingredients it was just really bland. Even the goat cheese didn't have much of a punch. I ended up adding a lot of salt to season it some. Don't think I'd get it again. My wife got the Italian and said it was really good. Nice soft hoagie roll and lots of sport peppers. Their fries are excellent. I'd say the main reason to come is the beer and ambiance. The food I've had so far has been "ok". I think they're trying to be St. Paul's answer to Surly and fall a bit short in the kitchen.
