I've been here a few times. Beer is great, summer patio is great...usually a fun place with great interactions with staff.... but I was here 2-1-26 at about 3:00pm. Bad Weather Brewing is an awesome spot for a beer! They have many flavors to satisfy any taste. Recently I've liked the "anomaly" triple berry sour ale. I've also recently tried one of their seasonal beers called "sweater weather" that tasted like a candle but might taste better next to a fireplace and a good book. They have plenty of seating and rotating food trucks. I also like that they offer different weekly events. I wish they had a larger parking lot but still easy enough to find a spot nearby! read more

Bad Weather is a solid brewery choice. The parking lot is fairly small, but you can usually find spots along West 7th. The beers are good, though I didn't find one I truly loved. The Mango Hopcromancer was tempting, but the ABV was a little too high for me. There are plenty of seating options, plus a huge bar. They're also dog-friendly inside! We left our pup at home this time, but there were about five or six dogs hanging out while we were there. read more

I love this brewery right in downtown Saint Paul, MN. It's got a great location with a great atmosphere! There is plenty of seating especially on a warm day as it was, the outdoor seating was ideal! I had a couple of their signature beers including the Haze Oasis and Mild Ale (English session). They're really tasty beers! I've been here on several previous occasions and I've not yet been disappointed by their selection of craft taps. On this particular day, they had the Cuchillo food truck available with some tasty Hispanic choices. I got the burrito, yum! The beer tenders are always great. All the trappings of a typical American brewery including: - big open space with high ceilings and lots of seating. - nice view of the brewing equipment. - food truck in the parking lot (Brick Oven Bus on the day we were there). - board games on a shelf for patrons to use. - big selection of beers, from IPA's to lagers to sours to winter warmers... My girlfriend and I stopped in on a late Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. The bartender seemed kind of indifferent to us but service was quick and we each got a flight. The beer was all very good but nothing that really knocked our socks off. I do like that the menu is organized by style of beer. Great location!! Close to a lot and right now the road from The X!! Went here on a Sunday with the kiddo and we enjoyed the open taproom. Went to the brewery today and got the adult slushy which was apple cider flavored. It was absolutely delicious and tasted like fall! I am not much of a beer drinker so this was my only option. Bad Weather is one of the first breweries I've ever been to in the Twin Cities and worth stoping if I. The area. They have their own parking lot and there is street parking as well. Their outdoor patio is great when the weather is not BAD. They also have a lot of room inside to hangout, whether in the brewery area or the private room. We have also been here for Trivia Mafia on Wednesdays nights and great way to have fun as a group and drink beer. My Standard Poodle loves the place as well behaved dogs are always welcome and he sees other dogs and gets petted by many people and kids. Compared to others around here, possibly a 3. Bad weather seems more concerned about the masses than anything else. It's not a trait to be destroyed because of, but it takes away from the brewery feel. Not too many beers on tap, and not that large of variety. Prices, as always, seemed about 2 dollars high. Great place to hang out (especially with dogs!) but boy was the flight a little pricey. $15 for 4, 4 oz pours might be the norm now but I've seen breweries with a better price. Besides that, they were all very yummy including the darker ones which I usually don't like. The Irish cream ale was probably my favorite and it might have been a limited edition that went with the holiday this past season. This place is pretty cool, and I'm not even a craft brew type of gal. Came here recently with a group and it was a pretty fun experience. They had a lot of different beer on tap and I really liked that you can get a custom flight of different beer to try. I got a couple of the girly, fruity beers and they were very interesting. There's an outside open area where the brewery set up these outdoor games you can play. Also you can bring your own board games or card games and your own food as well. This is more of a hang out place much more than an actual brewery. Really cool and fun hangout spot. Definitely recommend especially if you're a craft brew kind of person. read more

I went here on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised at how crowded it was inside. I was welcomed with people dressed up like they were going to a wedding. I then figured they must be waiting for the reception to start. What a fun place to go in between a wedding! There wasn't a free space to sit but I eventually my friend and I found one. Apparently there was a wedding reception happening later on so they had one side closed off.. maybe that is the explanation for everyone dressed so fancy. Onto the beer: If you are a fan of Stouts, then this is definitely the place for you. There were quite a lot on tap. I was pretty disappointed themy didn't have any sours on tap. I opted for the Gose and it was really enjoyable. I did also try the Strawberry lager and that was pretty good. There seems to be option for everyone. I just request more sours! Overall the staff was very friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating with picnic tables and there was even a food truck. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Bad Weather Brewing doesn't have a large selection. The beers we tried, we'd rate at an average of 4/5. Like good but not the best. Maybe I've just been spoiled by all the different breweries around the twin cities! What really sets this brewery apart is the atmosphere! It feels like a good gathering spot for friends. There's plenty of indoor seating; it's airy and on hot day, they crack open the garage doors. (It used to be an auto shop!) The outdoor patio is nice. Some tables are sturdy and wooden. Some are plastic and feel weak. There's some shaded areas as well. They don't serve food, but often there are food trucks. They actually have the dates of each food truck listed on their website, which is super helpful! I wouldn't come back for the beer alone, but I would come back for the vibe (and the enjoy the beer while I'm there!) read more

It was pretty nice on a Saturday to sit outside in St. Paul and have a couple of beers. We parked on the street around the corner and they had a nice big open lot for outdoor seating during COVID. It was dog friendly and the seating was pretty full. We did get a picnic table and I enjoyed their 2 flagship IPAs. Both were very solid and fit the style well. Like all breweries, their beers vary. I do like their flagship Hopcromancer, but others can be complete hit or miss. The five stars is because they do one of the best family friendly events ever: their annual spring outdoor arcade. Games classic and new, all on free play, and you can run a tab on sodas for the kids. Every year (except COVID) I come with my daughters and we have a blast. We'll keep coming back!! read more

It's an open room with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms are clean :) There's a food truck outside and this day they had bar b q. I had the mac and cheese and it was surprisingly flavorful although my friend said the baked beans were lackluster (my word, not hers. She said it needed a little bit of sugar) My beer was delish! I had the Due Date 3 and it comes from a bourbon cask barrel which gives its full-bodied nutty, smooth taste. They also do flights of 4 for $10. The prices are really reasonable. A neighborhood and Saint Paul staple. Their upgraded patio is beautiful and we enjoy the occasional board game meet ups. Also, dog friendly inside and out is a huge plus. They have great taste in food trucks! The beer is always solid. They have their flagships and they do them very well. My beer taste isnt as advanced as others so I may not always appreciate their new releases as much as I should. I always love Immortal Toast and Tippin it Down. (I selfishly wish they'd do a seltzer but I understand not all breweries want to go there which is totally ok!) Unfortunately as of late the staff seems less and less happy every time we visit. I don't need over the top service, or chatter or anything. They are still attentive and dont leave you hanging but the thing that bugs me as a former industry worker myself is that they just seem truly unhappy to be working there. read more

I have been to Bad Weather a handful of times over the years and have always enjoyed myself. Located just outside of downtown on West Seventh, Bad Weather has a sizable taproom and nice outdoor space for enjoying your suds. IPAs and pale ales seem to be where Bad Weather shines, which is the way it should be as far as I'm concerned. The flagship Windvane is always a solid go-to and Hopcromancer is a very good West Coast IPA. The taproom has an ever rotating selection of other styles as well. Food trucks can be found on site nightly, there are nearby restaurants and it's a short trek to the edge of downtown and the Xcel. Along with generally friendly service this is a taproom I would get to more often if I lived on this side of town. read more

Bartenders were friendly and had a good knowledge of the product offering. A few IPAs on the menu and some lighter stuff for the folks who need training wheels. Looks like they have a decent outside table area that I assume you can use in Minnesota during the 2nd and 3rd week of July only. It's cold! Hopcromancer was my favorite. Decent crowd for early on a Tuesday evening. I don't have or like dogs but it is dog friendly. A few video games and a juke box round off the decor. Parking could be a bit tricky but we were eating at an Italian restaurant across the street so we parked there but I assume that lot is for restaurant patrons only.
