Beer only. No food. I guess J would have known if I actually looked it up but didn't beforehand. You can however order takeout and bring it into the brewery. You order at the counter and seat yourself. It's a very open seating and lots of it. I guess I would think with this large of an area you might have some pool tables or something but I didn't see any. Seems like a good place to host events or group gatherings. I suppose it may get fairly loud if it was really full of people because it is a bit echoey but hey, it's a brewery - no one gets bothered by that, they just get louder It is also located in a strange strip mall area, so we were a little confused when trying to find it. There is another brewery super close so you can walk to it after you check out this one! Brewery crawl! The Curtain Call Cream Ale is very nice and light, easy to drink; though not as creamy as I'd prefer. The Jingle is a pretty good fruit sour! I would order this one if you like sours and once your stomach has enough switch to the cream ale! read more

Visited recently for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! They had a great selection of beer on tap. My brother got the OkTROVEerfest and really enjoyed it. I tried the Sideshow and Oddity. Both were good but the Oddity, a hazy IPA, was my favorite! Parking is easy with a large lot out front. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I brought my anxiety ridden dog who normally stands the whole time when out in public places, but she was so comfy and relaxed at Trove that she laid down. She even made a couple of human friends! Cool space. Love their furniture haha. The staff is friendly. It's in sort of an odd shopping center location. Plenty of parking though. I didn't love the beer menu - only 10 options and half were seltzers. Need a crushable light!!! I did have a sour and it was very good/surprisingly refreshing. LOVE this brewery in Burnsville! They have a few outdoor seats and a vast array of seating options inside. The decor is eclectic and one of my favorite things about this place. The tap list is on the smaller side, however, I have loved everything I've tried and that's rare! They always have a sour on tap which I can appreciate as sometimes I can't get that at other places! They've got pull tabs and food trucks and a ton of events going on what's not to love? The service is great too. Oh an did I mention they're pet friendly? I stopped in with my husband, adult children and our dogs. I loved it! The vintage decor and music was great. We had a wonderful time lounging on comfy furniture and just chatting. I really appreciate that dogs are allowed inside; we love bringing the fur babies along! Everyone enjoyed their beers. I had the maibock which was spot on. My daughter had a cherry porter that was too sweet for me but she really liked it. The Cherry Vanilla Porter was fantastic, as was the Rosy Rapture Strawberry Rubarb Sour. In both of them you could really taste the fresh flavors. The Ghost Light Belgian and The Goon West Coast IPA were both a little off, with an odd flavor. The Sideshow Kolsh and the Oddity NE IPA were good. Interesting beer spot in a strip mall in Burnsville. Definitely not what you were expecting when you walk in. The space is huge, very unique, vintage decorating approach. There was a food truck out front the day that we went, not sure how often they have one. Beer was honestly not my favorite, and I tried a flight so had a pretty good variety, just more bland (or outright weird) than I like. But the ambiance was nice and the staff was super friendly. Would probably go back and give it another try, I know things get tweaked a bit as businesses mature. read more

We went to Trove on a Friday that it was snowing pretty heavily on our way home from somewhere and it was really not busy at all! (I'm sure the snow had a lot to do with that) We just wanted to stop in for a quick beer and check the place out but they did have a food truck there as well. This brewery is also dog friendly which is a huge plus as we love bringing our dog places! As soon as we walked in the staff greeted us and answered all our questions about the beers and let me try a few! (I'm very indecisive and usually like everything) The vibe is antique like and dark, everything seemed to flow together and I thought it was super unique! My husband really liked the IPA - The Goon - we were talking to the owner after my husband said he really liked and the brewer/owner said this has been a recipe near and dear to his heart and that he's had the recipe for a while. I got the Judicator - and also enjoyed it a lot! They only had a few beers to choose from but I was happy with our choices and the available choices. I will most certainly be coming back with our dog next time! read more

There is a new brewery in Burnsville, Trove Brewing. They opened with 3 beer. A kolsch, ipa, and stout. All three beers are decent and have me wanting to go back. I love the space. There is a speakeasy, industrial, steampunk kind of vibe to it. Lots of cool textures and features to draw your attention. The main highlight for me is the kolsch service. This has been a growing trend here in Minnesota and I think it's awesome to see a new brewery open up with said service. Definitely check out Trove Brewing! read more

First time visiting yesterday and we loved the experience! Large tap room with great ambience. We had a big group and there were a lot of great options for seating to accommodate all of us. The beer was really good, I enjoyed their Hefeweizen. Also, dog friendly which is huge to us! We brought along our buddy Doug and he met lots of puppy friends while we were there. They do have the Parlour Bar food truck which served burgers and fries but it wasn't open when we got there so we grabbed food from a nearby take out place and brought it to the tap room. They've got games for kids and adults alike to partake in. We will definitely be back any time we're in the area! read more

It has taken me way too long to get out to Trove Brewing. While there, I admired the huge interior space. Not only is there enough space to spread out, the eclectic combination of furniture makes me feel like I'm sitting in a Macklemore music video (points to anyone who gets that reference). I was lucky enough to meet the owner and brewer who took the time to show me and a buddy around the system and explain their philosophy. We also got a sneak peek towards some upcoming brews and the popcorn machine they are getting prepped! I tried all of the beers they had on tap and would recommend each and every one of them. The Oddity: A New England IPA brewed with a combination of tradition NEPIA hop and a traditional C hop. Beautiful tropical fruit flavors and aromas with a nice finish into a piney spiciness. The body is just full enough to be a hazy, but finishes with a bitterness that cleanses the palate. The Black Lantern: A traditional American Stout with strong dark roasted coffee flavors and a semisweet chocolate that balances the bitterness. No harsh astringent flavors, which is great as some brewers start to get into that realm with these straight stouts. The Sideshow: The star of the show in my opinion - an OG Kolsch. Soft and pillowy body that ends dry and crisp. Pure noble hop spiciness and floralness on the nose. Almost rose perfume on flavor (in a good way!) and a nice bread dough malt sweetness. We tried out Trove Brewing yesterday for the very first time in Burnsville located directly next to LA Fitness! The brewery has a decent size interior with a darker antique feel. They have many tables and can fit both large and small groups. My favorite part of our visit was the flights were you can pick and chose your 4 pours and they were only 8$! I thought that was a great price. My top two pours out of my flight were the: #1 the Hazy IPA #2 the Pomegranate Seltzer We also liked that there were a handful games to pick from! (We picked connect four) The service was very good and the employees were nice/helpful! The only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars is I feel that the interior could be better decorated and the space could have been made better use of. Something other than just the beer to get people coming back. They had cool Edison bulb lights hanging from the ceiling... but there's not a lot going on inside other than a bunch of tables and a few couches. Finally a new brewery in Burnsville right next to the gym. They have opened couple of days back and are pretty busy with crowd. They have only 3 beers on tap as of now and they mentioned that they are going to keep adding new beers every week. They have decorated nicely with door and key theme and looks some british Drank kolsch and it smells good and tastes good. Also tasted there stout and it's not that heavy as other but it's good. They also have this kolsch service which looked interesting to visit back with a gang. They have couple of good menus from restaurants in the complex. Probably they will delivery food to trove of placed an order. Overall this is a good place and wish them luck. read more

Brewery opened yesterday so I wasted no time, checking it out this morning. After entering quickly realized everyone else seemed to be a friend, family, or employee. Didn't matter, din't feel odd. They opened with only three beers on tap; The Sideshow, 5.25% kolsch The Oddity, 6% hazy IPA, and The Black Lantern, 5.25% stout. All three are styles enjoy so I opted for a 7oz pour of each at a reasonable $3.50 each. As the fellow poured my beers, we discussed beers and styles. He seemed well informed so... I asked "are you the brewer? He was, Jeffrey, an absolutely delightful fellow, so we also discussed if he had experience and where.! I complimented their location, literally across the street from another brewery, which is just off 35, so hopefully they get a lot of traffic! I really liked the space; big windows on the front wall; a seating area to the left of the front door, two more straight ahead, near the bathrooms. The brew house is right there, up front! To the right of the door are a plethora of dining tables, so regular height and most had padded chairs! Some were small, four chairs, many others were about 8 or 10 chairs so great for groups! The only other employee I encountered was the friendly Hannah when I tabbed out. She also stopped by during my visit to ask if I needed anything else? Nice touch since I was one of only two tables of customers. Hannah & I discussed styles, I told her we were coming in to my season... stouts & porters. She said I should come back in a couple few weeks... he's working on a porter! I didn't check out the merch but it's hanging on the west wall right in front of the brew house. Parking is pretty easy since it's a strip mall, so it's ideal. I didn't confirm but I would say they'll have plenty of room for a few tables out front for patio seating.
