Really a nice place to go. The team here are super nice and a lot of fun. Their personalities really do show and I appreciate it . The space is pretty clean but small. I like the additional space outside . Their food is really good like the southwest nachos . The "banh mi" is interesting so I had to order it. As I suspected a hoagie bread is not good for a banh mi. It needs a specific crunch and this makes it a bit soggy. The inside part of the sandwich though is really good. Perhap replace it with a baguette or toast the hoagie ? We came here after work for a retirement party, lucky for us it was happy hour when we arrived. We did call ahead to make sure they knew we had a big group coming. We had a nice table near the front so our group could arrive whenever they were done with work but far away enough from others that we weren't too loud. This place was not that busy for a Friday night either. Everything is order at the bar here and the service was great. The bartender explained the drinks and food to us. They got our order in right away and it all came out quick. The food was good, it was a little hard to picture what the food was going to be like from the menu but they put their own unique spin on items. There were a lot of us so we were able to order a lot and try a lot. It was all really good, no complaints. The only thing is I am looking for state fair worthy pickles but these were no where near that. We were told there was not much parking since it's attached to India palace but it was decent when we got there. They had parking in back and in front so at the time we went it wasn't too busy. Wow wow wow! I love me some fries but I swear 9/10 I go somewhere that has seasoned fries usually misses the mark for me but Ineffable you killed it ! The Birria burger was beautifully done ! Usually I eat Birria in tacos but a BURGER! Game changer ! Although I wish the consommé came out to us a little warmer it was still perfectly flavored. Well done with pairing the right bun too. Birria and the consome are known for making tacos fall apart so the bun you guys chose for this was a 10/10! It had a very thin layer of crispness but it was the perfect thickness to keep it from falling apart or getting soggy. Everything tasted so fresh and hearty. The fish and chips, oooo lalalal! I was scared they were going to come out soggy and oily but these were fried to perfection! I love that Ineffable is another south metro located brewery and I had to try! Walking in I noticed the walls are black and bright green and there are TVs. There is not a very large selection of beer, I think maybe 6 or 7 (?) but there are a variety of kinds. You order both drinks and food at the counter and they bring out the food to you. Truthfully, the beer was nothing to write home about. It was all okay. Also, I got the White Trash Burger and it was not good in my opinion I am not sure if it was the toppings but I also just like the patty itself, and to top it off the fries were also not cooked all the way and tasted starchy? and barely seasoned. The meal was also 18 dollars which seemed pretty spendy. My friends ordered the nachos and I actually did like those a lot! It came with lots of toppings and they were great. My husband ordered a burger as well and he said it was okay, but the fries were the same as above. Unfortunately think I would come here for food again, maybe just an appetizer. read more

Stopped by ineffable brewing because I was given a gift card by some family and it was a great place for a casual dinner and drink. Plenty of beer options and a variety of food - there's something for everyone! We enjoyed the fish and chips and Thai peanut noodles, which surprisingly had a nice kick to them. Definitely disappointed with this place - I've visited on two separate occasions (would've been three but see below) and the service and beer were underwhelming. The prices were fine (average brewery in the suburb prices) but the beers all kind of tasted the same - my friend and I each tried a flight with different beers (I think we covered most on tap) and they all blended together. The service was slow, and almost seemed like we were inconveniencing them by being at the brewery? It was odd. We came back a second time thinking maybe the first time was a fluke, they were having off days, etc. but it was more of the same. A few weeks ago my husband and I were out doing some brewery hopping and decided to give it one last shot, when we arrived (mind you 45 minutes before closing time) the parking lot was empty, the lights were on, but the doors had already been locked and the staff was standing around inside chatting with each other. No idea how long they'd been "closed" even though their hours and social media listed they were open but that unfortunately was the last straw for us. Should've guessed something was up when there were no cars in the lot. We went to Trove Brewing instead and had a few drinks there. Disappointing to say the least as we'd love to support our local breweries in Burnsville but we've decided this one just isn't for us. read more

With a name like Ineffable, you have to try it out right? I met a friend here for drinks and it's smaller than your typical brewery spot, but I liked the size! It was easier to have a conversation and get your food and drink quicker than some other spots. Drink menu is on the smaller side, but I didn't mind that. I had the Raspberry Lemonade Milkshake Sour - it was nice! Definitely not for everyone (my husband wasn't the biggest fan), but I liked it. Food menu is a lot bigger than most other breweries and wings came out quickly. I did try the rosé as well, but didn't have very much body to it. Both food and beverage menus were a little limited, but definitely a high step up from when we last visited in the early days of the pandemic. We took home leftovers of the food and enjoyed ourselves! However.... The most ineffable thing about this place is how vibeless it is. The indoor is so stark and besides the lime green colors, boring. The outdoor could use a sense of atmosphere besides 'cobbled together and poorly tended' - even a short privacy fence to hide the nearby highway. People brought dogs and small children, so it's very welcoming, but you are also constantly distracted by drivers. I am not sure the furniture outside was actually made for being outside either. Our brewery adventure brought us back down to the southern metro to check out this spot! With a name like Ineffable, there's some serious hype to live up to!! The space is great! A warm green excites you as you enter a smaller brewery space. There's still plenty of seating available and this spot even includes a full service kitchen! Service was really friendly and we'll definitely be back to try some of the food! Beers were top notch! I'd I had to pick, I'd say the Homeroom is in my top five beers of all time! I was initially turned off to it because it was labeled a white stout, but upon further investigation, turns out it is a perfectly light coffee beer with tiny vanilla and caramel flavors. Took a trip out to Burnsville, MN for a flight of beer from Ineffable Brewing. They offer all styles from lagers to sours to stouts. I didn't get a chance to try any of their food, but plenty of folks around me were and it looked like a perfect pairing for their beverages. "Kandiszucker" Belgian Tripel - A big Belgian sitting at 9%. It has a pleasant malt body with plenty of sweetness from 100lbs of rock candy. It ends with a spicy flavor that balances out the sweetness. "DoppelScotch" - A Scotch Ales / Doppelbock Lager hybrid created in collaboration with Boathouse Brothers Brewery. It has a caramel malt character that is accentuated as it warms. Very smooth, drinkable, and great for a rainy day. "Betty Blanca" Mexican Lager - A product of National Women's Day brew-fest, the Women of Ineffable created a Mexican Lager that is not only light in body to drink all day, but has a great corn malt flavor that makes you want to take another sip. Pacifica IPA - Celebration of Pacifica hops with a brown color that has a lot of malt character (molasses flavor) to balance out the mild citrus and floral notes. First time to Ineffable brewing, the beer was amazing. From what I understand the beers regularly rotate to new brews. Excellent excellent beer and there is a wide selection. The food was just ok though, passes as basic bar food. I was excited about the menu and we tried several items, but nothing blew me away. Pulled pork sandwich: The pork seems kind of mushy and I didn't care for the flavor, sorry. Fries also were mushy, not crispy at all. Poutine: I love poutine, however it's hard to find good poutine outside of Canada. Once again the fries were mushy, no crisp. Banhmi sandwich: The Banhmi was the best food item we had. The pork had a nice cook on it. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, a great environment to relax and have a good beer. We will definitely be back for more beer and see how the food improves. read more

Good selection of beers at this brewery in Burnsville. It's in a shopping mall right next to India Palace (bonus!). We tried the Irish red ale, the blonde and the Marzen lager. All three were really well made, they obviously have a good brewmaster and team on staff. There were at least ten other beers on tap, from IPAs to stouts. All the pints are $7. And they have wine by the glass, not sure I have seen that in a brewery before. They have a kitchen, too. The menu is huge. Sandwiches, bbq, wings and other great bar snacks. We tried the cheese curds - amazingly good! The space itself is midsize. There are some booths and tables inside, and bar seating. Their "patio" is a few picnic tables out in the parking lot. Although the name is cool, the vibe and beer are not. I ordered the hazy which was anything, but my husband ordered the milkshake grape sour with lactose which would lead one to believe it might be a smoothie sour but it was definitely not. We ordered the chips and queso, the chips were OK, but the queso was grainy and just tasted like cheap queso. The queso was orange not white queso. Space is pretty nice with a good assortment of games and a variety of content playing on the TVs to keep people entertained. Space could be a little loud at times, especially when the musician started playing (we had to literally scream at each other to talk). Service was very fast and courteous. Didn't order food, but the menu has some good options to choose from and looked great as I watched meals being delivered. I ordered a Russian Imperial Stout and found it quite pleasing... which in of itself probably wouldn't warrant a Yelp review... but here's the deal... I met Barbara and Richard, the husband/wife ownership team and saw them working hard, greeting customers, serving drinks and doing all the little things...and I felt like I was in good hands. We were excited to try this place Since they have a patio. Service was ok but they were out of ribs and overcharged me for tacos. They did correct the error. Food wasn't good. I try to refrain from writing bad reviews but the meatballs are inedible. Neither of my boys would eat the kids spaghetti and my husband couldn't eat his meatball sub. I tried both and also couldn't eat it. Cajun fish taco is good but battered is tasteless. We've never been to a restaurant where we left eating only one out of 4 meals. Average to disappointing. Not a great beer selection compared to a lot of breweries in the area - I don't like a lot of hoppy beers like IPAs, and there was very little that looked appealing. Nope. Both times I've been there they DID NOT HAVE A REGULAR IPA ON TAP. But they have dubbel, red ale and Kolsch to satisfy the .5% of the population that drinks those. We had an awesome experience at Ineffable. Went on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy. We ordered at the bar, and the staff are absolutely exceptional. They were so kind and patient while we ordered. While they technically requested patrons to come up to the counter to order, since it was quiet, they came around and asked if we were doing okay, and were able to place an order through them. This was some of the best service at a bar/restaurant I've ever experienced! The beer was great, and there was a variety for all tastes. We also ordered some BBQ from the attached restaurant. 1st, the beer - which ever beer we got they poured without a head. Just a soapy frizz on top. So so at best. Food - we hit a bad night. 2 of or meals were "warm". The 3rd, pulled pork tacos, were warm in a distant memory, the quac and slop they dumped on was refrigerator temperature. I really wanted to like this place. The menu was a decent size, but the three things we tried were terrible. We got the loaded fries, they were not loaded, they came with meat and onions on them and they were incredibly greasy. We had to ask for the cheese sauce, which they brought out quickly. However, the dish was not good. We also had tacos, and the Cuban and both were again incredibly greasy. As for the beer, selection was limited and not impressed with the taste here either.
