Beautifully caramelly and sweet with a very mild hop bitterness. UnLunker: An English Barleywine that they use as the base of Lunker, their Barrel Aged version of this beer. The base beer is extremely complex with layers of butterscotch, caramel, molasses, and figs. ____

Overall, LTD Brewing offers a great selection of beer, plenty of space, and excellent service. It had decent belgian notes but it was half-flat and a little sweet for my taste. It's nice they have a patio but it's beset by constant traffic from 44th St on one side and a parking lot with porta pottys on the other. Not exactly getting any fresh air. Moreover, the seating at picnic tables and high tops with cheap un-cushioned bar stools felt pretty half assed but that went along with the overall theme. They allow outside food and had a food truck operating when we went there which was a plus. Ultimately neither one of us were thrilled with our first tap so we bailed. Can't speak on the entire tap line but unlikely we will come back unless our friends ask us to. So almost nearly there in every respect but not quite. 3.75/5 rounding up to 4.

The staff is always super nice and helpful. I also LOVE sitting outside taking in a bit of nature. German style brews - think Pilsners, Altbier, Kolsch, Hefeweizen, and my absolute annual favorite - their festbier the receptional. So full of flavor. My year round favorite is the Czech pils if you want light, soft, and sweet. One more weekend of Oktoberfest (they did three this year) and I can't recommend enough!
